An aqueous ink jet ink contains a pigment, a resin and an additive. The resin has a unit containing a carboxylic acid group and a unit containing an aromatic group. The additive is at least one member selected from the group consisting of butanedicarboxylic acid, pentanedicarboxylic acid, pentanetricarboxylic acid, hexanedicarboxylic acid, hexanetricarboxylic acid, heptanetricarboxylic acid, octanetricarboxylic acid and nonanetricarboxylic acid. The content (ppm) of the additive is 180 ppm or more to 1,200 ppm or less with respect to the total mass of the ink.

Provided are an aqueous ink for ink jet capable of recording an image having excellent abrasion resistance and glossiness and an ink cartridge and an ink jet recording method using the aqueous ink. Provided is an aqueous ink for ink jet including a coloring material and a plurality of resins (first resin and second resin) different from the coloring material. The first resin is a resin particle formed of a first polyester resin and the second resin is at least one of (i) a block copolymer containing an A block having no acid group and a B block having an acid group and (ii) a second polyester resin having a sulfonic acid group. The present invention provides an aqueous ink of active energy ray curable type for ink jet. The aqueous ink contains resin particles and a photo acid generator. The resin particles include a reactive group-containing resin having at least one reactive group selected from the group consisting of an epoxy group, an oxetanyl group and a vinyl ether group. Further provided are an ink cartridge and an ink jet recording method in which the aqueous ink is used.

Provided is a method for producing a pattern of an electroconductive member, comprising: a step of forming a resin film on a substrate surface; a step of incorporating the first metal component into the resin by applying to the resin a liquid which contains a complex of a first metal component, which contains also a second metal component different from the first component, and to which a compound forming a complex with the second metal component is contacting or contacted preliminary; and a step of baking the resin film to form the electroconductive member from the first metal component incorporated into the resin film. Thus, the second metal component is prevented from adversely affecting the first metal component to be incorporated into the resin.

A method for producing a pattern of an electroconductive member, comprises: a step of forming on a substrate surface a resin film containing acid group; a step of incorporating into the resin film a liquid containing a metal complex salt and having a pH value of 5 to 7; and a step of baking the resin film to form the electroconductive member from a metal component incorporated into the resin film, thereby improving uniformity and speed of an adsorbing of the metal component into the resin, and providing uniform characteristics of the electroconductive pattern.

A method for producing a film pattern comprises a step of forming a resin film on a substrate surface; a step of incorporating into the resin film a constituent of a conductive film or a semiconductor film; a step of irradiating the resin film with an ultraviolet light; and a step of heating the resin film at a temperature not lower than a decomposition temperature of the resin to form a conductive film or a semiconductor film on the substrate, whereby the resin does not easily generate decomposition residues to improve precision and quality of the produced film pattern.

An electron-emitting device comprises a pair of opposing electrodes formed on a substrate, an electroconductive film having a fissure arranged between the pair of electrodes, and at least a film having a gap and containing carbon as a main ingredient, arranged at an end portion of the electroconductive film facing the fissure. The fissure is a region of 95% or more of a length in the fissure direction, has a width of from 60 nm or more to 800 nm or less, and has a difference of 300 nm or less between a maximum value and a minimum value of the width, thereby providing high withstanding voltage without forming branched fissure.

Since the material which constitutes the electroconductive pattern is hardly removed, a load concerning material reuse is mitigated and material cost is reduced.

A base pattern is formed using a base pattern forming material for electrode and wiring material absorption which is a water-based solution containing a water-soluble photosensitive resin component and a water-soluble metallic compound including rhodium, bismuth, ruthenium, vanadium, chromium, tin, lead, or silicon. An organic metallic compound is absorbed in the base pattern and then baking is conducted to form electrodes and wirings.
