A scroll compressor includes a crankshaft, a bearing rotatably supporting the crankshaft, a casing accommodating the crankshaft and the bearing, an arm supporting the bearing, a fixing portion connected to an end of the arm and fixed to the casing, and first and second pins. The first and second pins are press fitted into first and second holes and fixed to the casing by welding. The first hole is formed in the fixing portion and has a first center disposed at a position overlapping a minimum sectional area portion of the arm. The second hole is formed in the fixing portion and has a second center disposed at a position outside the minimum sectional area portion of the arm. A first force with which the first pin is held by the fixing portion is larger than a second force with which the second pin is held by the fixing portion.

The compressor assembly includes a body, and a terminal guard mounting seat attached to an outer surface of the body. The terminal guard is attachable to the terminal guard mounting seat. The compressor can be manufactured by attaching the terminal guard mounting seat to the outer surface, administering metal spraying to at least part of the outer surface after attaching the terminal guard mounting seat, and attaching the terminal guard to the terminal guard mounting seat after the administering metal spraying.

A compressor includes a casing, a compression mechanism, and a motor that drives the compression mechanism. The casing is configured to cover an internal space. The internal space includes a first space and a second space larger than the first space. The casing has a first casing part covering the first space and a second casing part covering the second space. At least one of the first space and the second space is a high-pressure space configured to contain high-pressure fluid. A metallic coating may be formed on an outer surface of at least the first casing part. Alternatively, a resin coating may be formed on an outer surface of the casing.

A compressor includes a casing and a metallic coating. The casing includes a low-pressure casing part covering a low-pressure space and a high-pressure casing part covering a high-pressure space. The metallic coating is formed at least on a part of an outer surface of the casing. The metallic coating includes a low-pressure part coating formed in the low-pressure casing part, a high-pressure part coating formed in the high-pressure casing part, and a welded part coating formed in a welded part. A compressor includes a casing, a motor fixed to the casing, a vertically extending drive shaft coupled to the motor, and a compression mechanism driven by the drive shaft to compress a fluid. A shaft-inside oil supply path is provided in the drive shaft. Oil at a bottom of the casing is supplied through the shaft-inside oil supply path to a sliding portion of the drive shaft above the motor. The compressor includes a shaft-inside oil discharge path provided in the drive shaft, and an oil discharge coupled to a lower end of the drive shaft. The shaft-inside oil discharge path extends from an upper portion to a lower portion of the motor. The oil discharge pump discharges the oil that has been supplied to the sliding portion of the drive shaft to the bottom of the casing through the shaft-inside oil discharge path.

A screw compressor comprises a first meshing body and a second meshing body. The first meshing body has plural helical flutes disposed around a first rotating shaft. The second meshing body has plural projections or lobes disposed around a second rotating shaft. At least one of the projections or lobes is arranged non-uniformly with respect to the other projections or lobes in a circumferential direction of the second rotating shaft. The plural helical flutes are arranged to be meshable with the plural projections or lobes, in a circumferential direction of the first rotating shaft.
