A waterproof connector has: at least one conductive contact; a metal shell interior of which the contact is disposed; and a housing made of an insulating resin material such that the housing fixes the contact and the shell to form an integral structure, the shell has an insertion port into which a counterpart connector is inserted on one side, and the housing is formed such that the shell is exposed at the outer circumference of and at the vicinity of the insertion port over a predetermined width in the length direction of the shell to form an outer circumferential exposure portion, and the outer circumferential exposure portion of the shell is disposed with a waterproof portion made of an elastic material.

Waterproof connector and manufacturing method thereof

An interface connector includes a housing, a plurality of contacts, and a square tube shaped shell. The housing integrally forms a header portion and a frame portion. The plurality of contacts is arranged in parallel on one face of the header portion, the shell is attached so as to cover an outer face of the housing. The shell includes a highly solderable layer formed on an inner face and an outer face including a plate-thickness face thereof, a pair of locking strips soldered to the printed circuit board, and an opening portion that is exposed outward and through which a counterpart housing is inserted and extracted, the opening portion including an end part (a plate-thickness face) of the opening portion which is turned black by laser irradiation.

Interface connector

A connector includes a plurality of contacts electrically connected to a plurality of connection terminals of an IC card, a housing disposed with the contacts, and a cover having a first end coupled to the housing in a reclosable manner and a second end into which the IC card can be inserted and stored. The cover includes a main surface covering an insulated surface of the IC card and a pair of supports formed at both sides of the main surface. The pair of supports are formed with a pair of rectangular grooves serving to slidably guide the IC card and pairs of claws facing the main surface. When closing the cover, the IC card is biased by the contacts so that the connection terminals separate from the pairs of claws.

Memory card connector

A PC card can reduces possibility of the lid being detached from the extended portion even when twisting stress, bending stress, etc. is applied against the PC card, and simplifies the metal mold for resin molding. In the PC card, by placing a lid so as to face an extended portion in such a way that catches provided on the lid are evaded from the catches provided on the extended portion, and thereafter sliding the lid relatively against the extended portion in parallel with the insertion direction to the electronic apparatus, the catches on the lid and the catches on the extended portion become aligned in the height direction, and thereby the lid is fixed to the extended portion.

Jack

A connector, which enables the molding of narrow press-fitting grooves for cantilever contacts and has cantilever contact press-fitting grooves of a structure such that the molding dies for the grooves will have adequate strength and durability, is provided. In molding a rectangular first press-fitting groove, in which a first fixed partB of a cantilever contactis press-fitted, a plurality of upper-face opened recess partsU, which are continuous with the first press-fitting groove, are molded by an upper die. Lower-face opened recess partsD, which are continuous with the first press-fitting groove, are molded by a lower die. By the combination of the upper dieand the lower die, the upper-face opened recess partsU and the lower-face opened recess partsD are formed in an alternating manner. Connector and connector groove

The present invention provides a connector capable of being easily and reliably coupled to a printed circuit board. A connector () comprises two sets of a plurality of lead parts () and a plurality of lead parts () extending from one side surface () of a housing () to be opposite to each other. A printed circuit board () includes slot () abutting on the side surfaces () to () of the housing (), and edge connectors (A) and (B) are formed on both surfaces of an edge abutting on the one side surface (). The edge connectors (A) and (B) are inserted between the lead parts () and (), and the lead parts () and () are soldered to the edge connectors (A) and (B), respectively. In a connector with a cover or door body, it is a purpose of the present invention to provide a connector and a connector main body of the connector of difficulty being broken into parts when the connector is under use for being plugging in or pulling off although it is possible to detach the cover with ease. It is characterized in that a direction of force to widen a second opening () from which a cable () of the connector () is drawn out is different from a direction of detaching the cover () from the housing main body (). The detaching direction may be a sliding direction on the housing main body (). Moreover, it is characterized in that a direction of force to widen the opening () is substantially orthogonal to the detaching direction of the cover () from the housing main body ().

Connector structure

A jack, which would cause hardly a defective connection even if a mechanical deformation is received when attaching or using it, will be offered. The electric junction of contacts (), () and leads (), () is done by crimping, the crimping portions (), () are arranged in a housing () of the jack which is not exposed easily to a mechanical deformation, and, in addition, the structure is so made that the mechanical force doesn't work easily on the crimping portions (), () also by the leads (), () extending from the jack.

A connector is disclosed which is to be used for connecting a card-type device to an assembled circuit board. This connector has: a connector body having a card mounting space formed therein; signal connection contact members disposed on the connector body; a metallic cover member rotatably attached to the connector body at one end thereof and arranged to regulate one end of the card-type device within the card mounting space when the cover member is in a closing state where the same closes at least a portion of the card mounting space; and a spring piece disposed at the cover member and arranged to be pressingly contacted with a surface of the card-type device.
