A method for producing a power storage device includes an insert-molding step of making a resin member by insert-molding with respect to a terminal member inserted in an insertion hole of a lid. In this insert-molding step, the insertion hole of the lid is placed in front of a gate, and a molten resin is injected through the gate to flow in an opposite gate-side space in a cavity through the insertion hole, allowing the molten resin to spread over the entire cavity, to form the resin member.

Method for producing power storage device

Provided is a lid body including: a terminal member being mainly made up of a first metal; a sealing plate mainly made up of a second metal; and a sealing material. The sealing plate has a mounting hole for attaching the terminal member. The terminal member is inserted into the mounting hole and is attached to the sealing plate in a state where the sealing material is joined to a peripheral edge portion of the mounting hole. With as αa coefficient of linear expansion at 25° C. of the sealing material, αas a coefficient of linear expansion at 25° C. of the first metal and αas a coefficient of linear expansion at 25° C. of the second metal, α≤α≤αis satisfied, where αis the higher value and αis the lower value from among the αand α.

Lid body and sealed battery

The present disclosure provides a joining technique capable of improving strength and reducing electrical resistance of a connecting portion that performs heterometal interjunction in a sealed battery. A mode of the sealed battery disclosed herein includes an electrode body, a battery case, a positive electrode internal terminal, a positive electrode external terminal, a negative electrode internal terminal, and a negative electrode external terminal. In the sealed battery, in a connecting portion between the negative electrode internal terminal and the negative electrode external terminal, an upper end of the negative electrode internal terminal and the negative electrode external terminal are stacked with a plated layer interposed therebetween and, at the same time, the negative electrode internal terminal and the negative electrode external terminal are joined to each other via the plated layer. In addition, a rough surface having a plurality of recessed portions is formed on the upper surface of the negative electrode external terminal having been stacked with the plated layer interposed therebetween, and a part of the plated layer penetrates into the recessed portions. Accordingly, a connecting portion having high strength and low resistance can be formed between the negative electrode internal terminal and the negative electrode external terminal.

Sealed battery and assembled battery

A secondary battery herein disclosed includes a power generating element, a battery case, and an electrode terminal. The electrode terminal includes a terminal part, an external connection part, and a molding resin part. The terminal part is connected to the power generating element. The external connection part contacts with the terminal part. The molding resin part covers the periphery of the connection surface between the external connection part and the terminal part in a state where a part of the external connection part is exposed to outside. The external connection part includes a step part between an outer circumferential portion of a connection surface between the external connection part and the terminal part, and an exposed part exposed from the molding resin part to the outside. The molding resin part covers both the outer circumferential portion of the connection surface and the step part.

Secondary battery

A method for producing a secondary battery includes a space formation step and an injection molding step. In the space formation step, an outer periphery of a resin blocking portion with a quadrangular prism shape, in a terminal, is plugged to form a resin injection space around the terminal. In the injection molding step, a resin is injected into the injection space. The space formation step includes a constant-dimension pressing step and a constant-pressure pressing step. In the constant-dimension pressing step, a section between a pair of first outer peripheral surfaces of the resin blocking portion, extending parallelly to each other is pressed, whereby a distance between the first outer peripheral surfaces is brought to a predetermined distance. In the constant-pressure pressing step, a section between a pair of second outer peripheral surfaces of the resin blocking portion, extending in a direction intersecting the first outer peripheral surfaces, is pressed.

Method for producing secondary battery

A battery includes: an electricity-generating element; an exterior; an external terminal member; a current-collecting terminal member having a first end which is connected to the electricity-generating element and a second end, which extends outward of the exterior; and a platy connection member that, outside the exterior, interconnects the current-collecting terminal member and external terminal member. In the welding between the connection member and an outer peripheral side end portion of a swaged portion in which the second end of the current-collecting terminal member has been swaged toward an insertion hole of the connection member, an acute angle between a connecting line connecting the weld portion to a center of the second end and a longitudinally extending center line of the lid member is greater than or equal to 45 degrees. A production method for the battery and a battery production-purposed mask are also provided.
