An intubation system includes a measurement apparatus that measures physiological parameter of a subject by a measuring section, an intubation apparatus that includes an imaging section placed in a vicinity of a tip end portion of an inserting section to be inserted from a mouth of the subject toward a target site, an intubation displaying section that is disposed integrally with or separately from the intubation apparatus and is connected to the imaging section and the measuring section to display an in vivo image that is taken by the imaging section along with the physiological parameter that is measured by the measuring section, and an overall storage section that stores the in vivo image and physiological parameter that are displayed on the intubation displaying section, in an associated manner.

A cardiopulmonary resuscitation assisting apparatus including: an acceleration sensor (); a magnetic sensor (); a first calculation section (A) which obtains a relational expression (N) between a compression depth Da and the coil-to-coil distance AD; a determination section () which differentiates the relational expression (N) with respect to an output value of the magnetic sensor () and compares a resulting differentiated value of the relational expression (N) with a predetermined threshold to thereby determine whether notification for assistance of cardiopulmonary resuscitation is necessary or not; and a voice generating section () which performs the notification for assistance of cardiopulmonary resuscitation.

Cardiopulmonary resuscitation assisting apparatus

An intubation apparatus includes an inserting section that has an elongated shape and is to be inserted from a mouth of a subject toward a target site. An intubation tube is formed to extend along a longitudinal direction of the inserting section and is advanceable and retractable with respect to the inserting section. An imaging section is placed at a tip end of the inserting section and takes an in vivo image of the body of the subject. A detecting section detects a target site from the in vivo image based on a feature amount of the target site that is preset. A notifying section is disposed integrally with or separately from the intubation apparatus and notifies an operator who operates the inserting section. A notification controller controls the notifying section to notify of information relating to the target site of the subject based on a result of the detection.

A light-emitting section () emits light to be irradiated on a body of a patient (). A light-receiving section () outputs a signal corresponding to an intensity of light which has been transmitted through or reflected from the body of the patient (). A pulse-amplitude Index acquiring section () analyzes amplitude of the signal to acquire a pulse-amplitude Index of the patient (). A pulse determining section () determines presence or absence of a pulse of the patient () in accordance with the pulse-amplitude Index. A notifying section () notifies a result of determination made by the pulse determining section ().

Lifesaving assisting apparatus

A method of controlling a defibrillator with a function of analyzing an electrocardiogram, includes: dividing an electrocardiogram of a patient into a plurality of analysis zones; executing analysis of the electrocardiogram in each of the divided analysis zones; based on a result of the analysis of the electrocardiogram in each of the analysis zones, executing determination whether electric shock on the patient is necessary or not, and calculating reliability of the determination; and based on a combination of the determination and the reliability, instructing a first procedure to be performed on the patient.

A remote maintenance system includes: a medical device which includes: a first power source; a first power source controller which controls an ON/OFF operation of the first power source; a checker which checks a check item; and a first communicator which transmits first information including a result of a check by the checker; and a relay unit which includes: a second power source; a second power source controller which automatically controls an ON/OFF operation of the second power source; and a second communicator which communicates with the first communicator and which receives the first information from the first communicator.

If an electronic camera is set in an image-capturing sensitivity automatic control mode, a program autoexposure calculation is executed based upon the subject brightness and the image-capturing sensitivity setting to determine a control aperture value and a control shutter speed. If the correct exposure is not achieved, a control exposure sensitivity is calculated based upon the exposure deviation and the image-capturing sensitivity setting is adjusted accordingly. If an internal flash unit or an external flash unit is utilized, an autoexposure calculation is executed by using the flash unit synchronizing speed, the subject brightness and the image-capturing sensitivity setting to determine the control aperture value.

An electronic camera and method include an imaging device, a luminance detection device, a selection device, a first control circuit, a second control circuit and a third control circuit. The first control circuit re-executes an exposure calculation by adjusting the exposure sensitivity if a first control exposure determined in the first mode does not achieve the optimal exposure. The second control circuit automatically sets the exposure sensitivity at the imaging device in correspondence to a subject luminance detected by the luminance detection device. The third control circuit disallows the second control circuit from operating and allows the first control circuit to operate when the first mode is selected, and that disallows the first control circuit from operating and allows the second control circuit to operate when the second mode is selected.
