A terminal crimped wire includes a wire including a conductor and an insulation sheath covering a circumference of the conductor, a crimping terminal crimped to the wire, an anticorrosion material which covers an exposed part of the wire drawn out of the crimping terminal, and an elastic member provided along a circumference of the wire. The wire is crimped to the crimping terminal via the elastic member interposed therebetween.

Terminal crimped wire

A connection structure has an electric wire and a terminal. The terminal includes a mating terminal connection portion to be connected to a mating terminal and a crimping portion which crimps to a conductor of an electric wire. The electric wire is connected to the terminal by the crimping portion. The connection structure includes an intermediate portion that is provided between the mating terminal connection portion and the crimping portion and has a housing portion which houses an end portion of the conductor, an intermediate portion sealing member that is fitted in the housing portion, and a hollow covering member that extends in an extending direction of the electric wire and covers a portion from the intermediate portion to an insulating covering region.

Connection structure for electric wire and terminal

A water proof press contact terminal includes a base portion, a pair of first press contact pieces, a pair of second press contact pieces, and a covering member. The first press contact pieces are provided at both sides of a front part of the base portion. The second press contact pieces are provided at both sides of a rear part of the base portion, press contact a sheath of a wire. The covering member is provided on the base portion. A core wire of the wire is inserted into the covering member so as to be covered in a waterproof manner, and is press contacted by the first press contact pieces together with the covering member.

Water proof press contact terminal and method for forming water proof press contact terminal

A conductor connecting structure comprises a flat circuit body having an insulator and a conductor, and a conductive terminal metal fitting having a conductor connecting part including a first conductor holding part and a second conductor holding part. The first conductor holding part has a first plate-like part formed into a plate-like shape, and a projecting part which projects from a surface of the first plate-like part that is faced to the conductor. The second conductor holding part has a second plate-like part formed into a plate-like shape, and a through hole arranged so as to correspond to a position of the projecting part and penetrating the second plate-like part. When the conductor is sandwiched by the first conductor holding part and the second conductor holding part, the conductor is deformed so as to be pushed into the through hole.

Conductor connecting structure

A wire connecting method and a wiring harness that allows one to utilize a single terminal for multiple core wires having various diameters thereby reducing the number and different types of terminals. The wire connecting method allows the larger wire cores first to be ultrasonic pressed such that the diameter of the larger core wires are reduced to sizes that are small enough to utilize the single terminal used on smaller core wires.

Wire connecting method and wiring harness

A wire end processing method includes tree steps. In a core wire portion exposing step, a sheath of a wire is stripped so as to expose a core wire portion composed of a plurality of element wires. In a core wire portion unifying step, ultrasonic vibration is applied to the exposed core wire portion while applying a pressure thereto, thereby causing the plurality of the element wires to rub against one another so as to unify the core wire portion. In a terminal connecting step, the unified core wire portion is press-contacted or press-fitted to the terminal.

Wire end processing method

A wire connection unit includes a connector, a first case, and a second case. The connector electrically connects a first wire and a second wire. The second case is joined with the first case, and has an inner face opposing the first case. The inner face is formed with a groove and a concave portion. The groove holds the first wire and the second wire. The concave portion is disposed at the groove and accommodates the connector. A projection is provided in the groove. The projection protrudes toward the first case from a bottom of the groove.

Wire connection unit

A cable connection structure includes a coaxial cable that includes an inner conductor, an inner insulator covering the inner conductor, a braided wire covering the inner insulator, and a sheath covering the braided wire, a cable that includes a core wire and a sheath covering the core wire, and is arranged in series with the coaxial cable, a ground terminal that connects the braided wire to a ground, and fixes the coaxial cable and the cable, a crimp terminal that press-clamps the inner conductor of the coaxial cable and the core wire of the cable to electrically connect to each other, and an insulative heat-shrinkable tube that covers the coaxial cable, the cable, and the crimp terminal. The inner conductor, exposed from the inner insulator and arranged between the crimp terminal and an end portion of the inner insulator of the coaxial cable in the heat-shrinkable tube, has a bent portion.

Cable connection structure

A coaxial cable connector includes: a pair of first crimp pieces; and a pair of second crimp pieces. Into the pair of first crimp pieces, an insulating inner sheath and at least a part of a braided wire, which are exposed from an insulating outer sheath, are inserted. The pair of second crimp pieces are located on outsides of the pair of first crimp pieces, and are crimped so as to surround the pair of first crimp pieces. Moreover, the pair of first crimp pieces are formed into a shape that is along inner walls of the pair of second crimp pieces.

Coaxial cable connector and coaxial cable connection unit

A wire connection unit includes a connector electrically connecting a first wire and a second wire, a first case and a second case. The second case is joined with the first case, and has an inner face opposing the first case. The inner face is formed with a first groove adapted to hold the first wire and the second wire, a second groove intersecting the first groove, and a first concave portion. The first concave portion is disposed at a part of the first groove except for a position where the second groove intersects the first groove, and accommodating the connector. One of a braided wire pulled out from the first wire and an earth wire electrically connected to the braided wire is accommodated in the second groove. The second groove communicates between a first outside face of the second case and a second outside face of the second case, the second outside case opposite to the first outside face.

A method of determining the acceptability of a press contact of a wire between press contact blades of a terminal. The method includes the steps of storing a reference data of a relationship between displacements of the press contact blades when the wire is brought into press contact with a normal press contact terminal and contact loads between the press contact blades and the core wire; inserting the wire between the press contact blades of the press contact terminal as an object to be inspected; measuring the displacement of the press contact blades caused by the insertion of the wire; and determining the acceptability of the press contact terminal as the object to be inspected by predicting the contact loads between the press contact blades of the press contact terminal as the object to be inspected based on the measured displacements and the reference data.

Method of determining the acceptability of the press contacting of a terminal using reference data

In a wire press-clamping method of press-clamping a conductor of a wire to a conductor press-clamping portion of a press-clamping terminal in electrically-connected relation thereto, there is used the press-clamping terminal having conductor press-fastening piece portions for press-fastening the conductor, and a press-clamping member is interposed between the conductor press-clamping portion and the conductor, and is press-fastened by the conductor press-fastening piece portions.

Wire press-clamping method

A wire end portion-press fastening structure for press-clamping a conductor of a wire to a conductor press-clamping portion of a press-clamping terminal in electrically-connected relation thereto. The press-clamping terminal has conductor press-fastening piece portions, and the conductor of the wire is bent back to provide a double portion. The double portion is press-fastened to the conductor press-clamping portion by the conductor press-fastening piece portions through an electrically-conductive press-clamping member.

Wire end portion-press fastening structure

In a water cutoff structure of a covered wire, a water cutoff portion of an upper side member of a water cutoff member is formed in a recessed shape which is a shape of a curved face along an outer shape of the covered wire. Further, a water cutoff portion of a lower side member is formed in a projected shape in correspondence with the water cutoff portion in the recessed shape and the projected shape is a shape of a curved face in a projected shape in correspondence with the shape of the curved face of the water cutoff portion in the recessed shape.
