Provided is a power transmission device with which it is possible to minimize transmission of an excessive external force. This power transmission device has an input lever, an output lever, and a housing that are capable of moving relative to each other and that are mechanically connected to each other so as to be capable of transmitting power therebetween. The power transmission device has: a main spring disposed on a first power transmission path that is for transmitting power between the input lever and the output lever; a return spring disposed on a second power transmission path that is for transmitting power between the input lever and the housing; and a damper disposed on a third power transmission path that is for transmitting power between the output lever and the housing.

Power transmission device and electric power device

A battery exchanger in which a mobile battery that has a connector is held by being accommodated or placed therein, wherein the battery exchanger has: a slot for holding the mobile battery; a connector provided to the slot in a manner allowing relative movement, the connector being connected to the connector; a through-hole provided to the slot, the connector being passed through the through-hole; and a shutter provided to the slot in a manner allowing relative movement, the shutter closing off at least a part of the through-hole.

Holding device

A separator of a fuel cell includes a sandwiching section, first and second bridges connected to the sandwiching section, a fuel gas supply section connected to the first bridge and an oxygen-containing gas supply section connected to the second bridge. The sandwiching section sandwiches an electrolyte electrode assembly, and has a fuel gas channel and an oxygen-containing gas channel separately. In the sandwiching section, a plurality of first projections are arranged in a zigzag pattern in a direction in which the first bridge extends, and the first projections at least protrude toward the fuel gas channel to contact an anode.

A fuel cell includes separators sandwiching electrolyte electrode assemblies. Each of the separators includes a fuel gas supply passage, four first bridges extending radially outwardly from the fuel gas supply section, and sandwiching sections connected to the first bridges. A fuel gas supply passage extends through the fuel gas supply section. Each of the sandwiching sections has a fuel gas channel and an oxygen-containing gas channel. The four electrolyte electrode assemblies are arranged concentrically around the fuel gas supply section. A fuel cell stack includes such fuel cells.

Fuel cell and fuel cell stack

Disclosed is a fuel cell module provided with a fuel cell stack and a load-applying mechanism. The load-applying mechanism is provided with: a first clamping part that applies a first camping load, in the direction of stacking, to the gas seal part of the fuel cell stack; a second clamping part that applies to an electrolyte/electrode unit, in the aforementioned direction of stacking, a second clamping load that is lighter than the first clamping load; and a third clamping part that is provided on the first clamping part and, separately from the first clamping part, applies a third clamping load to the gas seal part in the aforementioned direction of stacking.

Fuel cell module

A rotary fluid machine is provided that includes a rotor chamber (), a rotor (), vanes () guided by vane channels formed in the rotor (), and pistons () slidably fitted in cylinders () provided in the rotor (). Rollers () provided on support shafts () of the vane () are rollably engaged with annular channels () of a casing () so as to interconvert reciprocation of the pistons () and rotational movement of the rotor (). By capturing water of a hydrostatic bearing, which supports the vane () in the vane channel in a floating state, by a U-shaped lubricating water guide channel () formed on the end face of a rotor segment () and discharging it into the annular channels (), the water is prevented from flowing into the rotor chamber () and decreasing the temperature of steam, thereby preventing the output of the rotary fluid machine from being degraded.

Rotary fluid machine

A rotary fluid machine is provided in which a rotating shaft () fixed to a rotor () is rotatably supported on a fixed shaft () fixed to a casing (), sliding surfaces of the fixed shaft () and the rotating shaft () are lubricated by a first pressurized liquid-phase working medium, and sliding surfaces of the rotor () and a vane () are lubricated by a second pressurized liquid-phase working medium. By setting the pressure of the first pressurized liquid-phase working medium, which is supplied from an eleventh water passage (W), comparatively low and setting the pressure of the second pressurized liquid-phase working medium, which is supplied from a first water passage (W), comparatively high, wasteful leakage of the liquid-phase working medium past the sliding surfaces of the fixed shaft () and the rotating shaft (), where a comparatively small load is applied, can be prevented while enabling the sliding surfaces of the rotor () and the vane (), where a large load is applied, to be reliably lubricated with a high pressure liquid-phase working medium.

A rotating fluid machine is provided with a rotor chamber, a rotor accommodated in the rotor chamber, and vanes guided by vane grooves formed in the rotor. A U-shaped vane seal is held by a seal holding groove formed in the end face of each of the vanes. The opposite ends of the vane seal are fitted into slits in seal ancillary members which are fitted into engaging holes formed in the end faces of each of the vanes. The seal ancillary members are pressed by springs toward the inner circumferential face of the rotor chamber. The pressure of a gaseous phase working medium introduced into the bottom parts of the seal holding grooves is restrained from leaking out of the ends of the vane seal by the seal ancillary members. Thus, sealing performance can be secured by pressing the vane seal against the inner circumferential face of the rotor chamber.

Rotating fluid machine

Heat transfer members (H, H, H, H) are sequentially disposed within an exhaust port (), within a pre-catalytic device (), and on the downstream of a main catalytic device (); the exhaust port (), the pre-catalytic device (), and the main catalytic device () being provided in an exhaust passage () of an internal combustion engine. The heat transfer surface density (heat transfer area/volume) of the heat transfer members (H) on the upstream side of the exhaust passage () is the lowest, and that of the heat transfer members (H) on the downstream side is the highest. Thus, even though the temperature of the exhaust gas is higher on the upstream side of the exhaust passage () than it is on the downstream side of the exhaust passage (), a uniform heat transfer performance across all of the heat exchangers (H, H, H, H) may be maintained.

Heat exchanger

First heat exchangers (HHH) are disposed within an exhaust port (), within a pre-catalytic device (), and on the downstream of a main catalytic device (); the exhaust port (), the pre-catalytic device (), and the main catalytic device () being provided in each exhaust passage () of a multicylinder internal combustion engine. These first heat exchangers (HHH) are independently provided for each of the exhaust passages (), and a second heat exchanger (H) is disposed in a section where these exhaust passages () are combined. Since the first heat exchangers (HHH) are disposed on the upstream side of the exhaust passage (), high heat exchange efficiency can be obtained by high temperature exhaust gas, and, moreover, the occurrence of exhaust interference can be avoided, thereby preventing any decrease in the output of the internal combustion engine.

Heat exchangers of multiple cylinder internal combustion engine

Pistons () are slidably received in a plurality of cylinders () disposed radially in a rotor (), and a plurality of vanes () cooperating with the pistons () are disposed radially in the rotor (), so that a vane chamber () is defined between a pair of the adjacent vanes (). The radial movements of each of the pistons () and each of the vanes () are substantially stopped, so that the volumes of each of the cylinders () and each of the vane chambers () are not changed, for a period from the end of an exhaust stroke at which a gas-phase working medium is discharged from the cylinder () and the vane chamber () to the start of an intake stroke at which the supplying of the gas-phase working medium is started. Thus, it is possible to prevent the generation of a water hammer phenomenon due to a liquid-phase working medium confined in the cylinder () and the vane chamber ().

Rotary fluid machinery

A Rankine cycle system is provided in which, with regard to a given relationship between the pressure (Pevp) and the temperature (Tevp) of a vapor that is taken into an expander () that includes a cylinder chamber in a first stage and a vane chamber in a second stage, the chambers being disposed in line, the expansion ratio of the vapor that the expander () takes in and discharges is set at a predetermined expansion ratio (&#x3b5;) according to the given relationship so that the pressure (Pexp) and the temperature (Texp) of the vapor that is discharged from the expander () coincide with target values, thereby making the expander () and the condenser () exhibit maximum performance. Since the vapor within the cylinder chamber in the first stage is in a superheated vapor region and contains no water, the phenomenon of water hammer will not be caused in the cylinder chamber. Furthermore, since the vapor at the exit of the vane chamber is in a saturated vapor region and contains water, the vane chamber can be lubricated and sealed by means of the water.

Rankine cycle device

A waste heat recovering device for an internal combustion engine includes: an internal combustion engine; and an evaporator into which an exhaust gas of the internal combustion engine is introduced as a high temperature fluid. An exhaust gas inlet of the evaporator is placed adjacent to an exhaust valve of the internal combustion engine. Thus, there can be provided a waste heat recovering device having a high waste heat recovery rate.

A condenser is provided that makes a liquid droplet of a liquid phase medium drop effectively, the liquid phase medium residing in a lower end opening of a medium passage of the condenser, thereby preventing any degradation in the performance of the condenser. In the condenser, vapor, which is supplied to a cooling pipe () connected to cooling fins (), is cooled, condensed into water, and recovered in a water-collecting tray () provided beneath the cooling pipe (), and a needle-shaped member () provided so as to face the lower end opening of the cooling pipe () ruptures the droplet that, due to surface tension, resides in the lower end opening of the cooling pipe () and makes it drop into the water-collecting tray (). A plate-form filter can be used instead of the needle-shaped member (), and in this case not only can the droplet be made to drop from the lower end opening of the cooling pipe () more effectively due to the capillary action of the filter, but also dust contained in the water can be removed.

Condenser

A rotary fluid machine is provided that includes a rotor chamber (), a rotor (), vanes () guided by vane channels formed in the rotor (), and pistons () slidably fitted in cylinders () provided in the rotor (). Rollers (), which have a greaseless bearing structure and are provided on support shafts () of the vane (), are rollably engaged with annular channels () of a casing () so as to interconvert reciprocation of the pistons () and rotational movement of the rotor (). By guiding water for a hydrostatic bearing that supports the vane () in the vane channel in a floating state from a recess () of the vane () to a hydrostatic bearing () of the roller () via water passages (Wto W), an outer member () of the roller () is supported in a floating manner relative to an inner member ().
