A terminal equipped electric wire includes an electric wire including: a conductor and an insulating sheath covering the conductor, a part of the conductor extending out of an end portion of the insulating sheath being an exposed portion, a terminal fitting having an electric wire connection portion at a rear side of the terminal fitting, the electric wire connection portion being connected to the exposed portion, a water stop shrinkable tube covering the electric wire connection portion connected to the exposed portion in a watertight manner, a sensor disposed on an outer surface of the water stop shrinkable tube, the sensor contacting the outer surface of the water stop shrinkable tube and a sensor fixing shrinkable tube covering and fixing the sensor on the outer surface of the water stop shrinkable tube.

Terminal equipped electric wire and method of fixing sensor

A connector includes a terminal fitting connected to an end of an electric wire, a housing including a terminal accommodating chamber configured to accommodate the terminal fitting, a temperature sensor connected to an end of a detection line and configured to be attached to the terminal fitting, and a heat retaining cover. The heat retaining cover is configured to be attached to the housing such that the heat retaining cover covers a rear end portion of the housing and to retain heat inside the terminal accommodating chamber, the heat retaining cover having an electric wire guiding out portion through which the electric wire and the detection line drawn out from the terminal accommodating chamber are to be inserted.

Charging connector for use with vehicle

A connector includes a terminal, a housing to accommodate the terminal and a retainer including a locking portion to lock the terminal when the terminal is accommodated in the housing. The housing includes a front housing having a terminal accommodating chamber and a rear housing to be attached to the front housing from a rear side of an insertion direction of the terminal, the rear housing including a lance to, when the terminal is accommodated in the terminal accommodating chamber, lock a rear portion of the terminal. The retainer is to be attached between the front housing and the rear housing and to be displaceable along a direction perpendicular to the insertion direction between a locking position and a non-locking position. The retainer moves from the non-locking position to the locking position and the locking portion locks the rear portion of the terminal in the insertion direction.

Charging connector

A charge connector includes a connector case and a connector body. The connector case includes a pair of case split members to be coupled together. The connector body is housed in the connector case and includes charge terminals connected with electric wires and housed in a connector housing. The connector housing is provided with rotation direction regulation projections. The case split members are provided with rotation direction regulation holes that engage with the rotation direction regulation projections. The case split member is provided with a temporarily holding portion for holding the connector housing at a temporarily housed position. The connector housing is provided with a temporarily held portion at which the temporarily holding portion is locked.

Charge connector

A connector includes: a terminal to be connected to a mating terminal by a relative movement between the terminal and the mating terminal; a connector housing supporting the terminal; and a terminal displacement portion displaceably supporting the terminal in a direction orthogonal to a direction of the relative movement between the terminal and the mating terminal.

A terminal having a dissimilar material different from a contact base material, the dissimilar material arranged on a surface of a sliding contact portion on which a mating terminal slides includes a groove provided in the sliding contact portion in a direction different from a sliding direction of the mating terminal.

A charging inlet device () includes: an inlet housing () fixed to a vehicle body panel (P) with a charging port (A) open towards an outer side of a vehicle body; a terminal () arranged in the charging port (A); and a rear connector () mounted to the inlet housing () on an opposite side from the charging port (A) and having a wire lead-out terminal () connecting the terminal () and an electrical wire (W) routed through the vehicle body.

Charging inlet device

A male terminal () includes a terminal body () and an insulating member (). The terminal body () includes a cylindrical terminal contact portion () provided with a penetration hole () extending in the axial direction. The insulating member () includes a tip insulating portion () projecting forward from the tip of the terminal contact portion (), a terminal holding portion () disposed on the rear side of the terminal contact portion () to hold the terminal body (), and a communicating resin portion () disposed in the penetration hole () to connect the tip insulating portion () and the terminal holding portion ().

Terminal and terminal manufacturing method

A terminal includes an insulating leading-end insulation portion () that is fixed to a conductive terminal main body () and that protrudes in front of a leading end of a terminal contact portion (). The terminal contact portion () is formed in a cylindrical shape including a rod through-hole () penetrating in an axial direction, and the leading-end insulation portion () is formed as a part of an insulation member () including a penetrating rod portion () penetrating through the rod through-hole () and protruding to a back end side of the rod through-hole (); and the leading-end insulation portion () and the back end side of the penetrating rod portion () are respectively engaged with respect to the terminal main body () in a removal direction to thereby fix the insulation member () into the terminal main body ().

Conductive terminal with insulating leading-end

A charging connector includes a connector housing to be fitted to a power receiving connector, a connector case housing the connector housing, a lock arm arranged to be swingable about a swing fulcrum between a lock position and a release position, and a coil spring located toward a power receiving connector away from the swing fulcrum to bias the lock arm toward the lock position. The lock arm is provided with a spring compartment housing the coil spring in a manner such that the periphery of the coil spring is enclosed. The spring compartment is provided, on a bottom portion thereof, with a penetration hole extending in the lock arm.

A spring hook structure includes: a torsion coil spring including a coil portion and a first arm and a second arm extending from each side of the coil portion; and a rotation support pin by which a cap is rotatably supported on an exterior case. The rotation support pin is inserted into the coil portion. The first arm is hooked on a first hook surface of the exterior case, and the second arm is hooked on a second hook surface of the cap. At least one of the exterior case and the cap is provided with a regulation wall at a position not interfering with the arm moving along the hook surface due to flexural deformation of the coil portion but interfering with the arm moving along the hook surface due to flexural deformation of the arm.

Provided is a terminal fitting capable of making an electric contact portion and a cap member retained at the electric contact portion to be reliably engaged together. A terminal fitting includes an electric contact portion provided at one end side and formed into a tube-like shape such that a mating terminal is fitted thereto, an electric wire connection portion provided at the other end side and arranged to fasten an electric wire, and a cap member fitted to a distal end of the electric contact portion and retained at the distal end. A first engagement portion arranged to engage with the cap member is provided at the distal end of the electric contact portion, and the cap member is provided with a second engagement portion arranged to engage with the first engagement portion.

Terminal fitting

A rotary connector, comprises an annular rotary body inserted outside a steering shaft and integrally rotated with a steering wheel, a rotator of a steering angle sensor inserted outside the steering shaft; and a tubular joint inserted outside the steering shaft and connecting the rotary body to the rotator; wherein the rotary body and the joint are connected together by a first universal joint, and the joint and the rotator are connected together by a second universal joint.

Rotary connector

A rock arm having repulsion is provided in a protruding condition in a rotary case in a spiral cable unit, and an engagement portion with which a hook of the rock arm engages is formed in a male connector. The male connector engages with the spiral cable unit by the engagement of the hook of the rock arm with the engagement portion, to prevent bending of the rock arm, in the state with the female connector fitted in a fitting hood portion.
