An apparatus for supplying a resin material to molds of a resin press molding machine includes a supply cylinder for supplying the resin material to the molds, resin material charge hopper mounted to the supply cylinder, a plunger for extruding the resin material within the supply cylinder, a drive device for moving forward and backward the plunger in an axial direction, an opening and closing device for opening and closing an opening of a fore end of the supply cylinder, and a die positioned between the opening and closing device and the molds to form the resin material into a predetermined shape.

A press working control method for controlling the press working operation of a press having a pressure cylinder for applying a working pressure to a workpiece, a press slide operatively connected to the pressure cylinder and carrying a movable die, a bed fixedly mounted with a fixed die, a plurality of control cylinders supporting the press slide in a level position during the press working operation, and a press control system for carrying out the press working control method. An injection molding machine is disclosed in which molten resin from an extruder is injected into the cavity of a mold through a nozzle. A runner body disposed between the mold and the extruder has a substantially L-shaped hot runner for supplying the molten resin from the extruder to the mold therethrough. The runner body is pivotably supported by a support assembly and is horizontally slidable relative to the support assembly to accommodate thermal expansion, whereby the nozzle mounted on the runner body can be brought into or out of intimate contact with the mold. To accommodate the thermal expansion of the runner body only toward the extruder, a stopper is provided on the base frame.

A mold clamping device for an injection molding machine wherein a movable table which supports a movable mold is moved in directions approaching and moving away from a fixed table which supports a fixed mold to thereby bring the molds into open and closed states, and wherein mold clamping is effected in a closed state of the molds by mold clamping cylinders. The mold clamping device includes tie rods for guiding the movement of the movable table, the tie rods projecting upward from the fixed table and being each provided with an engaging groove such as threads or the like formed on the outer peripheral surface of its portion projecting from the movable table to the side opposite to the fixed table in the closed state of the molds; and split mold-like locking members capable of engaging with and disengaging from the tie rods each through each engaging groove in the closed state of the molds, the locking members being slidable in the axial direction of the tie rods. The mold clamping cylinders are disposed between the locking members and the movable table. Since the tie rods which receive the mold clamping reaction are so constructed as to also be employable as guide members for guiding the movement of the movable table, it is possible to attain a structural simplification and reduction in size in addition to advantage in terms of maintenance.
