Rolling bearing

A double-row angular contact ball bearing for a CT scanning device includes an inner member including a pair of raceway rings. The raceway rings have positioning holes into which a positioning member is inserted, to thereby suppress radial decentering of the raceway rings. Both the raceway rings are fastened by fixing bolts. The raceway rings have opposed end surfaces, and are fastened by the fixing bolts to bring the end surfaces into abutment against each other to apply a preload at a fixed position between balls and raceway surfaces. The following relationship is set: Db/h&#x2264;0.26, where Db represents a diameter of each of the balls, and h represents a radial dimension from a center of each of the balls to an inner diameter of the inner member.

A rotation transmission device includes coaxial input and output shafts (and), a pair of opposed bevel gears (and) rotatably mounted around the input shaft (), and an intermediate bevel gear () meshing with the opposed bevel gears (and). The output shaft () and one of the opposed bevel gears () are rotationally fixed to each other. A first one-way clutch () is provided through which the rotation of the input shaft () is transmitted to the one of the opposed bevel gears (). A second one-way clutch () is provided through which the rotation of the input shaft () in the reverse direction is transmitted to the other of the opposed bevel gears (). Thus, the output shaft () can be rotated in the normal direction irrespective of whether the input shaft () is rotated in the normal direction or in the reverse direction.

Switching device for switching driving force between forward and reverse directions

A clutch unit includes axially arranged input, output and reverse input gears, and a spring clutch. The input and output gears respectively include radially opposed input and output clutch portions. The spring clutch is tightly bound to the input clutch portion and includes coil springs each having transmission and release hooks. With the transmission hooks in engagement with the output clutch portion, the release hooks are spaced forward from the transmission hooks. From an unlocking state, when the release portion is reverse rotated by distance c while pushing the release portions, the spring clutch is unlocked, and when a reverse rotational portion is reverse rotated by distance b, it engages a reverse rotation engaging portion. When the release portion is further reverse rotated after the spring clutch has been unlocked by distance a, the release portion engages the hook engaging portion and stops. a&#x3e;b&#x3e;c.
