A vehicle switch includes a magnet mounted to an operating unit accommodated in an external packaging such that the operating unit can move linearly. A magnetic detector is placed so as to receive different strength of the magnetism from the magnet in the two cases that the operating unit is at the upper limit position and at the lower limit position. A control circuit coupled to the magnetic detector opens and closes a switching device in response to strength of the detected magnetism.

Vehicle switch

A rotation angle detector is provided with a spring to thrust a rotary body against protrusions formed on an inner wall of an opening via a detector body in a manner to keep the rotary body rotatable without any play in a linked motion with a steering shaft. As a result, the detector can detect rotation angles of the steering shaft with high accuracy.

A vehicle remote control apparatus has: A) a first transmitter for outputting an authentication request signal to a mobile device including a radio terminal assigned with an identification code special to a vehicle and outputting an authentication response signal corresponding to the identification code; B) a second transmitter for outputting an interference wave to cancel the authentication request signal at the same time as the first transmitter transmits the authentication request signal; C) a receiver for receiving the authentication response signal output from the mobile device in response to the authentication request signal, thereby checking authenticity of the authentication response signal; and D) a controller for controlling operation of an on-vehicle equipment based on the result of authentication of the authentication response signal.

A pressure sensitive switch disposed in the seat of a vehicle and a seating detector having the pressure sensitive switch are provided. Loss in its production can be reduced for obtaining an inexpensive pressure sensitive switch. The pressure sensitive has a movable contact layer formed underneath a top sheet and a fixed contact layer formed over a bottom sheet. A mark showing the resistance characteristic of the contact layer in the pressure sensitive switch is indicated on the top surface of the top sheet.
