A vehicle equipment remote control system includes an electronic control unit that controls the transmission from vehicle exterior transmitters and a vehicle interior transmitter such that, when one of switchover intention detection means detects a vehicle user's intention to switch over a door between a locked state and an unlocked state, among the vehicle exterior transmitters, the vehicle exterior transmitter on the side where the switchover intention detection means that has detected the switchover intention is located transmits a request signal requesting reply data, and a prohibition signal is transmitted from at least one of the remaining vehicle exterior transmitter and the vehicle interior transmitter to prohibit the transmission of reply data from the portable transceiver, the prohibition signal being at a low output level that cannot be received by the portable transceiver that is present on the side where the switchover intention detection means that has detected the switchover intention is located.

Vehicle equipment remote control system

The vehicular door lock device includes a casing fixed to a door and having a bulged portion defining an ingress passage receiving a striker on a vehicle body. A latch is supported on the casing for engagement with the striker for turning movement. A ratchet on the casing is for engagement and disengagement with and from the latch. An open lever is turnable on the casing and receives an operating force for releasing a locking state having the ratchet engaged with the latch. An internal operating-force inputting device transmits to the open lever a door opening operation force depending on the door opening operation within the vehicle. A locked-state switch-over device has an open link connected at one end to the open lever and switches over to an unlocked state to operate the ratchet from the engaged position to the disengaged position in response to the open lever turning, and a locked state inhibiting the ratchet from going to the disengaged position, irrespective of the turning movement of the open lever. The open link extends along a plane perpendicular to a lengthwise direction of the ingress passage and, is disposed sideways of the bulged portion on an opposite side from an inlet of the passage. The space occupied by the door lock device in the direction to avoid interference with a glass sash, along the thickness of a door can be small, and the door internal structure and thickness can be designed as desired.

Various component parts of a sensor main body are integrally insert molded, and are mounted to a mounting bracket member which is adapted to be securely attached to an external member such as a vehicle body. The sensor mount member defines a recess closely receiving an end of the molded casing, and these two parts are securely joined together by ultrasonic welding. Simultaneously, necessary electric connections are effected when the sensor main body is fitted into this recess via pin and socket connectors. Thus, both the reliability and the mechanical strength of the magnetic sensor can be ensured without involving the use potting material and the process of making electric connections which are known to complicate the fabrication process.

In a switch device, a switch is provided in a tightly closed switch chamber in a casing, and an operating element is advanceably and retreatably inserted into the switch chamber through an opening in the casing. An actuating member, connected to an inner end of the operating element for operating the switch, is provided in the switch chamber and has a fitting hole which including a small diameter portion and a large diameter portion. The inner end of the operating element is passed through a sealing member for sealing between the operating element and the opening, and is fitted into the small diameter portion of the fitting hole to form an annular seal clamping portion between an inner peripheral surface of the large diameter portion of the fitting hole and an outer peripheral surface of the operating element. An outer peripheral surface of the sealing member is secured to the casing, and an inner peripheral surface of the sealing member is clamped by the seal clamping portion. Thus, it is possible to insure an intended sealing function for a long period of time.

Method for sealing connected portions of lead wires of a switch device

An electric power supply control device for a vehicle comprises a lock actuator for driving actuators of the vehicle and an operation switch for outputting all operation instruction signal to the lock actuator. A circuit for vehicle running system for actuating an engine of the vehicle and a steering lock circuit for actuating the steering lock actuator in a locking direction are connected, exclusively with each other, to a power supply circuit. Wireless communication is conducted between a driver's transceiver and the vehicle when the vehicle engine is stopped and the power supply circuit therefor remains on, to automatically disconnect the power supply circuit.

Electric power supply control device for vehicle

An electric power supply control device for a vehicle comprises a lock actuator for driving actuators of the vehicle and an operation switch for outputting an operation instruction signal to the lock actuator. A circuit for vehicle running system for actuating an engine of the vehicle and a steering lock circuit for actuating the steering lock actuator in a locking direction are connected, exclusively with each other, to a power supply circuit. Wireless communication is conducted between a driver's transceiver and the vehicle when the vehicle engine is stopped and the power supply circuit therefor remains on, to automatically disconnect the power supply circuit.
