A power transmission device for a vehicle includes a housing that accommodates a power transmission mechanism, and a control valve configured to control a pressure of oil supplied to the power transmission mechanism. The power transmission mechanism includes an input shaft, an intermediate shaft, and an output shaft. The housing defines an insertion hole for a charging pipe. The output shaft is located farther toward a rear of a vehicle than the input shaft. The intermediate shaft is located above the output shaft. The control valve is arranged upright on a vehicle front side of the input shaft. The housing is provided with a recessed portion that is recessed inwardly in a region of the housing below the intermediate shaft and further toward the rear of the vehicle than the output shaft. The insertion hole is provided in a bottom section of the recessed portion when viewed from above.

Power transmission device

A power transmission device for a vehicle includes a housing that accommodates a power transmission mechanism, a control valve configured to control an oil pressure supplied to the power transmission mechanism, a first pump and a second pump configured to supply oil to the control valve. The housing includes a first chamber that accommodates the power transmission mechanism and the first pump, and a second chamber that is arranged adjacent to the first chamber in a horizontal line direction. In the first chamber, the first pump is arranged such that an axis of rotation of the first pump extends along a direction of an axis of rotation of the power transmission mechanism. In the second chamber, the control valve is arranged upright. In the second chamber, the second pump is arranged upright with an axis of rotation of the second pump extending along a vertical direction.

A baffle plate including a body portion, a cover portion and a seal member, a final gear and a driven sprocket disposed in an accommodating chamber of the baffle plate, an oil pump serving as a source of oil for lubrication, and an oil pan are provided. At least one of the body portion, the cover portions and the seal members includes a material that shrinks as the temperature of the oil decreases. The baffle plate is dimensioned such that a gap is sealed by the seal member when the temperature of the oil is equal to or higher than a predetermined oil temperature and an aperture is formed when the temperature of the oil is less than the predetermined oil temperature. The gap is the gap between an inner circumference of an outer wall portion of the body portion and each of a base portion of the cover portion and a base portion of the cover portion.

Driving force transmission device

An apparatus includes a case that stores oil inside, wherein the case includes a drain hole that discharges the oil to an outside, and a tubular portion that protrudes in a direction intersecting a direction of gravity, and the drain hole opens in a direction intersecting the direction of gravity on the tubular portion.

Oil discharge structure

Provided is a lubricant guiding structure in an automatic transmission in which a baffle plate configured to regulate the movement of a lubricant agitated by a driven sprocket is provided at one side, where an oil pump is located, in the direction of a rotational axis of the driven sprocket. As viewed from the rotational axis direction, a division wall disposed to extend across a chain is provided closer to the chain than a base of the baffle plate. As viewed from the rotational axis direction, the baffle plate is provided with a guide wall extending along a torque transmission-side chain of the chain wound on the driven sprocket. As viewed from the rotational axis-direction, the guide wall includes an inclined portion inclined in the direction coming closer to the chain as the distance to the distal end side decreases.

Lubricant guiding structure in automatic transmission

A baffle plate () including a body portion (), a cover portion () and a seal member (), a final gear () and a driven sprocket (DS) disposed in an accommodating chamber (Sa, Sb) of the baffle plate (), an oil pump (OP) serving as a source of oil (OL) for lubrication, and an oil pan () are provided. At least one of the body portion (), the cover portions () and the seal members () includes a material that shrinks as the temperature of the oil (OL) decreases. The baffle plate () is dimensioned such that a gap (CL, CL) is sealed by the seal member () when the temperature of the oil (OL) is equal to or higher than a predetermined oil temperature and an aperture (CL′) is formed when the temperature of the oil (OL) is less than the predetermined oil temperature. The gap (CL, CL) is the gap between an inner circumference of an outer wall portion () of the body portion () and each of a base portion () of the cover portion () and a base () portion of the cover portion ().

Baffle plate and seal member of a driving force transmission device

A transmission case having a storage area inside for an assembling member, includes a first opening in the storage area; a seating portion provided in the storage area and on which the assembling member inserted from an opening direction of the first opening is to be seated; and a mirror-finished portion allowing an opposite portion of the assembling member facing the seating portion to be visually recognized when the assembling member is being inserted to the first opening from the opening direction.

Transmission case

In a transmission case, a pattern exerting a water repellent effect is provided around a connection portion for a connection with an electrical component. A water passage is provided on an upper surface of an outer peripheral surface of the transmission case. A drain portion is provided on a downstream side of the water passage. The drain portion is a through hole provided in the transmission case, the through hole connecting with the water passage.

The continuously variable transmission includes a transmission case having a side cover, a housing, and a case sandwiched between the side cover and the housing, an oil pump disposed in the transmission case, and a pair of gears disposed in the transmission case. An axial rib having a linear shape extending from the side cover toward the housing is formed on an outer wall surface of the case at a position adjacent to the pair of gears. The axial rib is positioned on a straight line extending from the oil pump in the vertical direction and is locally positioned at a position where the meshing reaction force of the pair of gears is suppressed.

Driving force transmission apparatus

A side cover of a continuously variable transmission includes a recess portion supporting a bearing and a recess portion supporting a bearing. The recess portions are connected to each other through a lubricant path. An oil path into which a small diameter portion of a pipe-shaped member is inserted and a connection oil path connecting between the oil path and the lubricant path are connected to each other via a boss portion. The side cover includes a circumference wall portion provided with a plurality of bolt holes. The boss portion is disposed at a position between two of the bolt holes adjacent to each other in a circumference direction.
