Temperature measurement data obtained by measuring the temperature of a cable clamp () by a temperature sensor () is radio-transmitted from a temperature sensing unit () at a predetermined timing, and the radio-transmitted temperature measurement data is received by a receiving station (), classified by the temperature sensing unit number, and stored in a temperature measurement data storage area (A). The temperature measurement data transmitted from twelve temperature sensing units () can be received by one receiving station ().

Temperature monitoring device

A temperature recorder capable of storing, in time sequence, measured temperatures and measured times as temperature records in a memory incorporated therein, wherein, the temperature recorder is installed in a power line for temperature recording and, when the power line supplies a power in a normal temperature range, wirelessly transmits the temperature record to a monitor at a frequency of once every half day and, when an abnormal heating is detected from the power line, wirelessly transmits the temperature record as a temperature alarm record.

A temperature monitor includes a temperature sensor, a transmitter, and a controller. An antenna is provided as a substrate member, and, as with the antenna, a ground part is provided as a substrate member. The ground part includes a folded pattern formed of a copper foil provided on the surface of a substrate material. When a folded pattern in the antenna and the folded pattern in the ground part are configured in a length of &#x3bb;/4, a pseudo-antenna having a length of &#x3bb;/2 can be formed. In this case, the antenna gain is about 2 dB, that is, the radiation of the radio wave can be improved. At the same time, the antinoise properties and the arrival distance of the radio wave can be improved. That is, the above construction can realize radio equipment which can stably radiate radio waves even under ungroundable conditions and, at the same time, can realize good characteristics even under low transmission output conditions.

Radio equipment

Data is transmitted to a main control device via sensing means such as temperature sensors, each having a memory means in which the ID code is stored, and via transmitting/receiving means such as switching elements. There is a stand-by period in the operation of the main control device after the main control device issues a command to start a sensing operation until the main control device issues a command to perform a read operation. The main control device receives power through a signal line the voltage of which is kept at a high level during the stand-by period. Thus, an equipment sensing system and an equipment control device which enable reliable and quick sensing, cost reduction, smooth control, and simplified wiring are provided.
