A ground faulty interrupting function is returned to a normal standby state in a short time after a movable contact () tripped in detecting electrical leak is returned to a closed position. A tripping coil () which moves the contact () provided on an output line () to a shutdown position is included. A current transformer () is provided on a downstream of the contact (). A circuit () energizes the coil () when the leak current are detected. A reset signal forming circuit () outputs a reset signal to the gate signal forming circuit () when the contact () is returned to a connection position. The circuit () obtains power from the upstream side of the contact (). LED () is lit when the contact () is at the shutdown position, and LED () end display when the contact () is returned to the normal position.

Power supply apparatus

A detecting means easily detects the abnormality of a generator having a plurality of power supply units. Each of the power supply units includes one of a plurality of output windings Lto L, which are wound independently of each other around single iron core, and one of rectifierstothat are provided in correspondence to the output windings and produces an integrated output. Controllerstocontrol the rectifiers such that the output voltage corresponds with a target. A voltage deviation judgment sectionoutputs the abnormal signal when one of the output voltages of the rectifierstois different from remains. A current deviation judgment sectionoutputs the abnormal signal when one of the output currents of the rectifierstois different from remains. When the abnormal signal is detected, the outputs of the rectifierstoare stopped.

Generator with current and voltage abnormality detection

A multipolar magnetogenerator, which is operable under sufficient performance of its capability, permitting simultaneous extraction of various voltage outputs and is excellent in spatial efficiency, includes a magnet rotor () as an outer rotor and a multipolar stator () opposed to the radially inner surface of the magnet rotor () to permit extraction of an output of generated power from output windings () wound around the stator core. A transformer core () has a primary winding () and secondary windings () wound therearound and is located adjacent the radially inner circumferential surface of the stator (), which is remote from the magnet rotor (), and the output windings () are connected to the primary wiring () such that transformed outputs are extracted from the secondary windings ().

Multipolar magnetogenerator

In an automatic switchover device for a power source designed to automatically switch over systems for supplying electric power to an electric load in such a manner that electric power output from an engine generator is supplied to the electric load upon power failure of a regular power source system, a seesaw-type turn member is mounted for turning movement between a first turned position in which it permits a common contact to be electrically connected to a first individual contact and a second turned position in which it permits the common contact to be electrically connected to a second individual contact. First and second solenoids capable of exerting an electromagnetic force for driving the seesaw-type turn member toward one of the first and second turned position, each include a plunger which has an operating portion enabling the plunger to be pushed in from the outside, thereby enabling an operator's manual switching.

Automatic switchover device for power source

An engine operated generator is arranged to constantly respond to a change in the load with a margin of power. The output current of the generator 1 driven by an engine 2 is rectified by a converter 3 composed of a thyristor bridge structure. A direct current released from the converter 3 is converted by an inverter 4 to an alternate current at a commercial frequency and connected to a load 5. A thyristor driver circuit 9 controls the conduction of thyristors so that the voltage at the input of the inverter 4 is constant. A fuel flow controller 10 detects the conduction angle of the thyristors and the revolution of the engine 2 is controlled so that the conduction angle is converged on a target conduction angle. Since the target conduction angle is set within a predetermined range smaller than the maximum conduction angle, the generator is maintained with margins of its output and can thus provide a stable level of voltage and respond quickly to a change in the load.

Engine operated generator

An outer rotor-type multi-pole generator includes a plurality of coils wound around a large number of protruding poles provided around an outer periphery of a stator core through a bobbin, and terminal members fitted into fitting tube portions integrally provided on the bobbin to pass through the stator core over opposite ends of the stator core. Each of the coils is connected to one end of the terminal member. Each of the terminal members includes a flat plate-shaped base portion fitted into the fitting tube portion and a clamping plate portion protruding sideways from one end of the base portion. The end of the coil is connected to the one end of the terminal member by fusing with the clamping plate portion being folded in such a manner that the end of the coil is clamped between the clamping plate portion and one end of the base portion. Thus, the operation for connecting the coils to the terminal members is facilitated, and the number of steps of the connecting operation is reduced.

Coil connecting structure in outer rotor-type multi-pole generator

A connecting terminal for a stator which is fitted and fixed in a fitting bore provided in a bobbin included in the stator, includes an external-conductor connecting terminal section fitted and fixed in the fitting bore with one end connected to an external conductor protruding from the fitting bore, a flat plate-shaped connecting plate section connected at one end at right angles to the other end of the external-conductor connecting terminal section and extending outwards in a radial direction of the stator, and a coil connecting terminal section which extends away from the bobbin and which is connected at right angles to the other end of the connecting plate section, so that the coil connecting terminal section can be folded to a position superposed onto the connecting plate section. The coil connecting terminal section is formed into a tubular shape, so that a lead wire extending from the coil can be inserted through the coil connecting terminal section and can be connected to a tip end of the coil connecting terminal section by fusing. With such arrangement, the operation for connecting the coil to the connecting terminal can be easily carried out, whereby the number of steps of the connecting operation can be reduced, and the space for disposition of the connecting terminal can be reduced in size.
