A display module includes a plurality of display panels, a backlight module including a plurality of light guide plates disposed in back of the plurality of display panels, and a light emitting element disposed around the plurality of light guide plates. The display module also includes a middle frame member that is disposed in back of the plurality of display panels and in front of the plurality of light guide plates, and a rear frame member that is disposed in back of the plurality of light guide plates. The display module further includes a first elastic member that is interposed between the housing and one of the plurality of light guide plates at a corner part of the housing, and a second elastic member that is interposed between the housing and one of the plurality of light guide plates at a central upper part of the housing.

Display module including middle frame member and elastic member

A display module includes a plurality of display panels, a backlight module, a middle frame member, a rear frame member, and a structure. The backlight module includes a plurality of light guide plates disposed in back of the plurality of display panels and a light emitting element disposed around the plurality of light guide plates. The middle frame member is disposed in back of the plurality of display panels and in front of the plurality of light guide plates, and includes a plurality of openings corresponding to the plurality of display panels. The rear frame member is disposed in back of the plurality of light guide plates, and includes a housing that houses the plurality of light guide plates. The structure fixes or positions the plurality of light guide plates to the housing.

Display module

A liquid crystal display device includes a cover member having a curved-surface shape and having a curved display surface, a liquid crystal panel having a GIP structure and disposed on a rear side of the cover member, and an adhesive layer interposed between the cover member and the liquid crystal panel. The liquid crystal panel includes a display area, and an IC mounting area adjacent to the display area. A gate drive circuit is mounted in the IC mounting area. The display area includes a first end adjacent to the IC mounting area, and a second end opposite the first end. In a curve in a direction from the first end to the second end, a first curvature at the first end is less than a second curvature at the second end.

Liquid crystal display device

A lateral electric field type liquid crystal display device having a curved display surface, comprises: a curved first substrate including a plurality of gate lines, a plurality of data lines, a pixel electrode, and a common electrode; a curved second substrate that is disposed opposite to the first substrate, the second substrate including a polarizing plate; a liquid crystal layer disposed therebetween; a sealing material bonding the first substrate and the second substrate together; and a driver that outputs a drive signal to at least the plurality of gate lines or the plurality of data lines. In the polarizing plate, at least a part of a side near the driver overlaps the sealing material or is disposed outside the sealing material in planar view.
