A wind power generation system including a steel tower and a wind power generator is provided. The wind power generation system may include: a plurality of foundations; a steel tower; a wind power generator; and a support structure supporting the wind power generator. The steel tower may include a plurality of main column members extending upward from base ends fixed to the foundations. At least a portion of the support structure is fixed to at least one of the plurality of foundations without intervention of the plurality of main column members.

Provided is a Fourier transform spectroscopy method that removes restrictions on spectral resolution and spectral accuracy in Fourier transform spectroscopy for observing a cyclic repeating phenomenon, that realizes, theoretically, infinitesimal spectral resolution accuracy. After accurately and sufficiently stabilizing the repetition period of a phenomenon, a temporal waveform is acquired by making a repetition period and a time width for observing the temporal waveform of a phenomenon strictly conform, and by performing a Fourier transform, acquired is a discrete separation spectrum in which the inverse number of the observation time window size T is made a frequency data gap. Measurement is repeated while causing the repetition period to change, and the gap of the discrete separation spectrum is supplemented. Thereby, in a case of an observation target in which the existence time of a phenomenon is longer than the repetition period, the spectral resolution of the obtained discrete separation spectrum becomes infinitesimal.

A common library stores therein user function blocks and ready-made protected function blocks. By being manipulated by the user, an editing device links some of function programs stored in the function blocks in the library to form a control program which controls the exchange of signals between I/O modules and external devices. A control section in the terminal device allows the alteration of the function programs included in the user function blocks, but inhibits the alteration of the function programs included in the protected function blocks.

While a microcomputer is executing a self-diagnosis (A), second diagnosis pulse output means of a B-system microcomputer is not used utterly. Further, during this time, the B-system microcomputerB does not execute a processing relating to at least the self-diagnosis (A) utterly. By shifting the timings for the A-system and the B-system to output the diagnosis pulses, independencies can be secured between respective diagnosis processing (self-diagnoses (A) and (B)). Thus, the independencies between the A-system and the B-system can be verified briefly by the self-diagnosis (A) on the A-system side. Further, first diagnosis pulse group are outputted parallel and simultaneously from first diagnosis pulse output means. Thus, since cyclic control is not required for respective external input devices, it can be done to verify the independencies between the A-system and the B-system within a short period of time.

A safety PLC includes an I/O module to which a safety device for detecting a predetermined condition at any time is connected, a CPU module that executes a safety program for managing the I/O module, and a communication unit that interconnects the I/O module and the CPU module with each other. The CPU module includes: a PIN code memory that stores a PIN code for authenticating that the safety program satisfies a predetermined standard; a PIN code input unit that allows a user to designate the PIN code; a program auto-creating unit that automatically creates the safety program; and a program authentication unit that puts the safety program into an executable condition when the PIN code designated by the user coincides with the PIN code stored in the PIN code memory.

The PLC according to this invention includes I/O modules, a CPU module, an input/output bus, and a PC having a display. The CPU module includes a control program storage unit which previously stores an intrinsic control program in which operation processing and an input/output information item are packaged; a library which previously stores the function block representing the operation processing; and a header file which previously stores equivalent input/output information equivalently representing the input/output information by a graphical language. Referring to the library and header file, PC causes the execution program created and stored in the main storage unit to be displayed on the display by the function block and equivalent input/output information item.

The mode-locking frequencies of two femtosecond laser light sources are controlled so that they are stabilized at high degree and the difference between the mode-locking frequencies is constant. The output of the laser light sources are used as a pumping light for generating terahertz pulses and a probe pulse light for terahertz detection. Since the time delay timings of the terahertz pulses and the probe pulse light the pulse periods of which are slightly different from each other shift from each other and the difference increases. Therefore, the temporally expanded terahertz pulses are measured by high-speed sampling without using any mechanical stage for time delay scanning. The terahertz electric field time waveform measured by high-speed sampling with the measurement time window of the pulse period is subjected to time-scale conversion and Fourier transform.

A distributed control system includes a plurality of PLCs which are connected together via active and backup transmission lines which are opposite in transmission direction.
