A battery pack is disclosed. The battery pack includes one or more battery assemblies and a circuit board connected to the battery assemblies. The battery assembly includes first and second battery cells having the predetermined surfaces overlaid on each other. The first and second battery cells each have battery elements accommodated in a container thereof, and cathode terminals and anode terminals are provided at a same height as the predetermined surfaces at a same side. The cathode terminal and anode terminal of the first battery cell are adjacent respectively to the cathode terminal and anode terminal of the second battery cell.

A battery module, a power storage device, a power storage system, an electronic appliance, an electric vehicle, and a power system that can detect the voltage of a plurality of battery cells more accurately are provided. The power storage device includes a connection terminal portion which is coupled with terminal planes of a plurality of battery cells constituting battery columns. There is provided a power storage system comprising a plurality of battery lines and a connection terminal unit. Each battery line comprises a plurality of battery cells arranged in a first direction. The connection terminal unit is electrically connected to terminal faces of each battery cell of a group of the battery cells, and the group of the battery cells is disposed in a second direction. At least one cut out is formed in the connection terminal unit. There are also provided a power storage system for a house, a power storage system for a vehicle, an electronic device and an electric vehicle including the power storage device. There is also provided a connection terminal unit for electrically connecting a plurality of battery cells, in which at least one cut out is formed in the connection terminal unit.

A power storage module includes: a battery block group including a plurality of battery cells; a connecting terminal portion joined to terminal surfaces of the plurality of battery cells; and a heat conductive material arranged in a manner contacting the connecting terminal portion. The heat conductive material includes at least any member of a plurality of interspersed members or a member having a clearance. The heat conductive materials are distributed more densely in a center portion of a region surrounded by an outermost peripheral edge of the battery block group than in peripheral portions surrounding the center portion in a plan view from a normal line direction of an arrangement surface of the heat conductive materials.

A battery unit may include a main accommodation casing that includes a power output terminal, at least one sub-module that is accommodated in the main accommodation casing and a control unit that is accommodated in the main accommodation casing and controls at least one of charging and discharging of a unit battery, wherein in the sub-module, two or more battery blocks are accommodated inside a sub-accommodation casing so that the terminals of the battery blocks each including a plurality of unit batteries are not exposed and the battery blocks are connected to each other through an electric connection member.
