A hair shampoo composition comprising an anionic hairwashing surfactant, from 0.1 to 5.0 weight percent of a cationic surfactant having the formula ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 is alkyl having 16 to 22 carbon atoms, R.sub.2 is methyl, ethyl or alkyl having from 16 to 22 carbon atoms, x is halogen, methylsulfate or ethylsulfate, and m and n each is a number of at least one and the sum of m plus n is from 5 to 30, and from 0.1 to 3.0 weight percent of oleic acid monoglyceride.

Shampoo composition

A liquid shampoo composition which possesses an excellent foaming power and in which a water-insoluble finely divided powder can be dispersed in a stable condition, in which a stabilizer selected from the group consisting of lower alcohols, glycols and alkanolamines is incorporated in a liquid shampoo composition containing an ammonium salt or an organic amine salt of an anionic surfactant, an ammonium salt or an organic amine salt of water-soluble polyacrylic acid, as principal ingredients, and also containing a fatty acid alkanolamide.

Liquid shampoo composition

A non-allergenic lanolin or a derivative thereof which does not contain any substances which have an Rf value of less than 0.38 with a chloroform solvent or less than 0.14 with a benzene solvent, in thin layer chromatography using magnesium silicate having a thickness of 0.25 mm as the adsorbent.

Non-allergenic lanolin compositions

A process is provided for producing a lower allergenic lanolin or derivative thereof by liquid-liquid extracting lanolin or its derivative with a non-polar hydrocarbon solvent and a mixed solvent of water with a lower alcohol. The non-polar hydrocarbon solvent extract is then recovered.
