A method for managing HDD expanders in a cluster storage system is provided. The method according to one embodiment is implemented by each of the HDD expanders, and includes: indicating a device type of HDD expander to a parent node thereof when a device-type request originates from the parent node; and indicating a device type not of HDD expander to the parent node otherwise. The method according to another embodiment is implemented by each HDD expander connected indirectly to a root node, and includes: indicating a device type not of HDD expander to the root node when a device-type request originates from the root node; and indicating a device type of HDD expander to a node that initiates the device-type request otherwise.

Method for managing hard disk drive expanders in a cluster storage system

A fan rotor includes a rotating shaft, a metal body, at least one rotor magnet and a vane wheel. The metal body has at least one top surface, at least one cylindrical portion and at least one connecting portion. The top surface is disposed at an end of the cylindrical portion, and the rotating shaft is disposed in the cylindrical portion and connected to the top surface of the cylindrical portion. The connecting portion is formed at the other end of the cylindrical portion and extended from an outer wall of the opening in a direction away from the rotating shaft. The rotor magnet is disposed around an inner wall surface of the cylindrical portion. The vane wheel is detachably connected to the metal body through the connecting portion.

Fan rotor

An impeller includes a hub and a plurality of blades. The blades are connected with the hub. Each blade includes a base part connected with the hub and a tip part opposed to the base part. The thickness of the tip part of the blade is greater than that of the base part of the blade. In addition, an airflow-guiding part is disposed at the tip part of the blade.

A stator seat of a motor includes a pillow, a connector, a waterproof element and cables. A sleeve is extended from the pillow. A cap covers the pillow and sleeve. A control chamber is formed and enclosed by the cap and pillow. The pillow has a through hole communicated with the control chamber. The connector corresponsive to the through hole is installed in the control chamber and includes a first connecting structure. The waterproof element covers the through hole and includes an annular groove and an O-ring clamped between the waterproof element and pillow, and a second connecting structure. The first and second connecting structures are passed through the through hole. An insertion hole is penetrated through the waterproof element. Each of the cables has an end connected to the connector and the other end passed out from the pillow through the insertion hole and through hole.

Stator seat of motor, and connector waterproof structure thereof

A motor stator includes a bobbin bracket, a modular mounting bracket, and a modular change box. The bobbin bracket includes a plurality of bobbins circularly disposed in a radial pattern. The modular mounting bracket is disposed on the bobbin bracket. The modular mounting bracket is formed with a first slide structure. The first slide structure is perpendicular to an axial direction of the bobbin bracket. A sensing circuit board is disposed in the modular change box. The modular change box is formed with a second slide structure. The second slide structure is perpendicular to the axial direction of the bobbin bracket and slidably connected into the first slide structure, so as to assemble the modular change box to the modular mounting bracket along a radial direction of the bobbin bracket.

A waterproof motor includes: a recess () and a shaft tube () disposed upright on one side () of a base (); a waterproof cover () covering the one side () of the base () and having a through holecorrespondingly enclosing the shaft tube () and a protruding portion () correspondingly engaging the recess (), a first space () formed between the waterproof cover () and the one side () of the base (); a first circuit board () disposed inside the first space () and having a plurality of sensors (); a housing () having an opening () and connected to the other side () of the base (); an insulation plate () covering the opening of the housing (), a second space () opposite to the first space () formed between the insulation plate () and the housing ().

Waterproof motor

A motor rotor includes a cylindrical housing, a positioning ring and a plurality of magnets. The cylindrical housing includes a plurality of securing holes. The positioning ring is disposed on the cylindrical housing. The positioning ring is disposed with a plurality of flexible ribs and a plurality of securing ribs disposed corresponding thereto. Each of the flexible ribs is radially pressable. The flexible ribs are disposed in the cylindrical housing, and each of the securing ribs is inserted in a respective corresponding one of the securing holes. The magnets are disposed in the cylindrical housing. Each of the magnets is clamped between the adjacent flexible ribs and is arranged annularly along an inner wall of the cylindrical housing, so as to facilitate assembly.

Motor rotor and positioning ring thereof

A method for performing security control includes selectively controlling at least one camera module of an electronic device to capture at least one image and outputting the at least one image, for security of the electronic device. For example, the method includes: activating a screen lock function that is associated with a password; and when it is detected that a string that differs from the password is entered, controlling the module to capture the image and outputting the image. In another example, the method includes: activating a remote control function, allowing the electronic device to be remotely controlled, through at least one of a telecommunication network and a wireless local area network, by an application that runs on a processor of another electronic device; and based upon remote control of the application, controlling the camera module to capture the image and outputting the image. An associated apparatus is also provided.
