A display panel is provided. The display panel includes a substrate having a pixel region and a peripheral region, a control element overlying the pixel region of the substrate, a first metal layer overlying the substrate in the peripheral region and in the pixel region, a first insulating layer formed on the first metal layer in the peripheral region, wherein the first insulating layer includes at least an opening, and the opening is disposed on the first metal layer, a second metal layer overlying the first insulating layer and electrically connected to the first metal layer, wherein a portion of the second metal layer is disposed in the opening, a second insulating layer overlying the second metal layer, and an electrode layer disposed on the second insulating layer.

Display panel and system for displaying images utilizing the same

An organic light-emitting device and an image display system employing the same are provided. The organic light-emitting device includes: a first substrate; an organic light-emitting pixel structure disposed on a top surface of the first substrate; a second substrate having a bottom surface opposite to the top surface of the first substrate; and an optical functional layer disposed over the organic light-emitting pixel structure.

Organic light-emitting device and image display system employing the same

An embodiment of the invention provides a display panel, which includes a substrate having a pixel region and a peripheral region, a control element overlying the pixel region of the substrate, a conducting layer overlying the substrate in the peripheral region, a first insulating layer overlying the conducting layer in the peripheral region, wherein a ratio between an area of the first insulating layer and an area of the conducting layer in the peripheral region is between about 0.27 and 0.99, a lower electrode layer overlying the first insulating layer, and a second insulating layer overlying the lower electrode layer.

A system for displaying images employing an organic electroluminescent device is provided. The organic electroluminescent device includes a first substrate with an inside surface; an organic electroluminescent pixels array disposed on the inside surface of the first substrate; a second substrate with an inside surface, wherein the inside surface of the second substrate is opposite to the inside surface of the first substrate; a color filter layer disposed on the inside surface of the second substrate; and an opaque frit sealing layer disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate, wherein the opaque frit sealing layer is separated from the organic electroluminescent pixels array by a dummy region and is encapsulating the organic electroluminescent pixel array between the first substrate and second substrate, and wherein the dummy region is filled up with a black matrix material, a frit sealing layer.

Image display system

An organic electroluminescent display (OELD) device at least includes a first assembly and a second assembly. The first assembly has a first substrate and an organic electroluminescent unit formed on the first substrate. The second assembly, assembled with the first assembly, includes a second substrate, a color filter layer and a patterned light-shielding layer. The color filter layer is disposed on the second substrate and has plural colored regions with different colors. The patterned light-shielding layer is disposed on the color filter layer and between the colored regions. A part of the patterned light-shielding layer contacts the first assembly to maintain a cell gap between the first assembly and the second assembly.

Organic electroluminescent display and method for fabricating the same

An embodiment of the invention provides a display panel, which includes a substrate having a pixel region and a peripheral region, a conducting layer overlying the substrate in the peripheral region, a first insulating layer overlying the conducting layer in the peripheral region, wherein a ratio between an area of the first insulating layer and an area of the conducting layer in the peripheral region is between about 0.27 and 0.99, a lower electrode layer overlying the first insulating layer, a second insulating layer overlying the lower electrode layer, and an upper electrode layer overlying the second insulating layer.

A pixel structure including a first switching transistor, a setting unit, a capacitor, a driving transistor, a second switching transistor and a luminous element is disclosed. The capacitor is coupled between a first and a second node. The first switching transistor transmits a data signal to the first node according to a scan signal. The driving transistor includes a threshold voltage and a gate coupled to the second node. The second switching transistor includes a gate receiving an emitting signal. The luminous element is coupled to the driving transistor and the second switching transistor in series between a first operation voltage and a second operation voltage. The setting unit controls the voltage levels of the first and the second nodes to compensate the threshold voltage of the driving transistor.

Pixel structure and display system utilizing the same

A three-order sigma-delta modulator having a feedback and a feedforward configuration. The three-order sigma-delta modulator includes: an analog-to-digital converter; a digital-to-analog converter; a first integrating network; a second integrating network connected in series to the first integrating network; a third integrating network connected in series to the second integrating network; and an adder, to combine a feedforward gain signal generated by passing the first output signal from the first integrating network through a feedforward gain unit with a modulation signal that is generated by passing the third output signal from the third integrating network through a modulation gain unit and to generate a desired noise transfer function.

Three-order sigma-delta modulator

A four-order sigma-delta modulator. The modulator implements a feedback and a feedforward configuration, so that the desired noise transfer function is carried out by adjusting the coefficients of the feedback and the feedforward. The four-order sigma-delta modulator includes: an analog-to-digital converter, a digital-to-analog converter, a first integrating network, a second integrating network, a third integrating network, a fourth integrating network, and an adder.
