A multi-view display device including a backlight module and a first light valve is provided. The backlight module includes a first light guide plate, a first light source, a second light guide plate, and a second light source. The first light guide plate has a plurality of first diffraction gratings. The first light source is disposed beside a first incident surface of the first light guide plate and configured to emit a first illumination beam. The second light guide plate has a plurality of second diffraction gratings. The second light source is disposed beside a second light incident surface of the second light guide plate and configured to emit a second illumination beam. The first light valve is disposed on the backlight module.

Multi-view display device

A stereoscopic display system, including a first stereoscopic display, a second stereoscopic display, and a first controller, is provided. The first stereoscopic display is adapted to make a line of sight of a viewer face a center of a display surface of the first stereoscopic display. The second stereoscopic display is adapted to be disposed next to the first stereoscopic display. A first included angle between a display surface of the second stereoscopic display and an extension surface of the display surface of the first stereoscopic display is greater than 0. The first controller is signally connected to the first stereoscopic display and is electrically connected to the second stereoscopic display.

Stereoscopic display system

A pair of augmented reality glasses including a projection device and a waveguide is provided. The projection device is configured to provide a collimated beam. The waveguide has a plurality of free form surfaces. Distances between each free form surface and the projection device are different from each other. The collimated beam progresses to and reflects off these free form surfaces in sequence, and then enters eyes of the user.

A method for adjusting a depth of a stereoscopic image includes the following. A first disparity correction amount is obtained according to a distance between centers of two lenses of a stereoscopic camera and an interpupillary distance (IPD) of a first observer. A second disparity correction amount is obtained according to a difference between image distances of a stereoscopic display and the stereoscopic camera at zero disparity. A third disparity correction amount is obtained according to the IPD of the first observer and an IPD of a second observer. A stereoscopic image of an object photographed by the stereoscopic camera which has been corrected by the first disparity correction amount, the second disparity correction amount, and the third disparity correction amount is transmitted to the stereoscopic display. A device for adjusting a depth of a stereoscopic image is also provided.

Method and device for adjusting depth of stereoscopic image

An augmented reality display device is used to provide an augmented reality image to one eye of a user. The augmented reality display device includes a curved eyepiece, multiple first micromirrors and two first displays. These first micromirrors are disposed on the curved eyepiece. The two first displays are respectively disposed on two opposite sides of the curved eyepiece. Each first display is for emitting a first image beam. These first micromirrors are for imaging two first image beams emitted by the two first displays onto a retina of the eye to form the augmented reality image. Among them, the horizontal field of view formed by these first micromirrors to the eyes falls within the range of 80 degrees to 110 degrees.

Augmented reality display device

An augmented reality display device, used for wearing in front of an eye of a user, which includes an image source, a polarizer, a first wave plate, a transflective element, a first lens, a second wave plate, a reflective polarizer, a second lens, a light guiding unit, and a curved transflective film. The image source is used for emitting an image light beam. The polarizer, the first wave plate, the transflective element, the first lens, the second wave plate, the reflective polarizer, and the second lens are sequentially disposed on a path of the image light beam. The light guiding unit has a reflective surface. The curved transflective film is disposed on the light guiding unit. After being incident on the light guiding unit, the image light beam is sequentially reflected by the reflective surface and the curved transflective film to the eye of the user.

A head mounted display including two display units is provided. An included angle between the two display units is greater than 0 degrees and less than 180 degrees. Each of the two display units includes a display device, a condenser lens and a prism. The condenser lens overlaps the display device. The prism overlaps the condenser lens and the display device. A material of one of the condenser lens and the prism includes flint glass, and a material of the other of the condenser lens and the prism includes crown glass.

Head mounted display

An augmented reality display device includes a display, a polarizing beam splitter, and a reflective liquid crystal panel. The display is configured to provide an image beam. The polarizing beam splitter is disposed on a path of the image beam. The reflective liquid crystal panel is disposed on a path of the image beam from the polarizing beam splitter. The reflective liquid crystal panel is configured to form a plurality of modulating and reflecting regions separate from each other. The modulating and reflecting regions are configured to modulate a polarized direction of the image beam and reflect the image beam back to the polarizing beam splitter. The polarizing beam splitter is configured to make the modulated image beam travel to an eye of the user. The reflective liquid crystal panel is configured to vary a pitch of the modulating and reflecting regions.

An augmented reality display device including a virtual image display and a controller is provided. The virtual image display is configured to provide a left eye virtual image and a right eye virtual image to a left eye and a right eye of a user, respectively. The controller is electrically connected to the virtual image display, and is configured to command the virtual image display to display a left eye virtual mark and a right eye virtual mark, corresponding to a real mark in space, in the left eye virtual image and the right eye virtual image, respectively, and calculate an interpupillary distance between the left eye and the right eye according to a deviation of the left eye virtual mark with respect to the real mark and a deviation of the right eye virtual mark with respect to the real mark.

Augmented reality display device and method

Augmented reality glasses including a first image source, a second image source and a lens set are provided. The first image source emits a first image beam. The second image source emits a second image beam. The lens set includes a first lens and a second lens and disposed on the path of the image beams. A gap is disposed between the first lens and the second lens. The refractive index of the gap is lower than that of the first lens. The image beams enter the lens set at an incident surface of the lens set, are reflected at a first surface of the first lens, and exit the lens set at an exit surface. The optical path length of the first image beam from the first image source to the eyes is different from that of the second image beam from the second image source to the eyes.

An augmented reality display device, which is configured to provide an augmented reality image to an eye of a user, includes a display module and multiple mirror sets. The display module includes a projector and multiple switching elements. The projector provides an original image beam. The switching elements are deposed sequentially on a path of the original image beam. Each of the switching elements reflects or transmits the original image beam. Reflection paths of each ray of the original image beam on the switching elements intersect at one point to generate multiple image beams. The mirror sets are disposed on paths of the image beams. The image beams are reflected at different angles on the mirror sets, and the mirror sets reflect the image beams to the eye.

Augmented reality eyeglasses having a structured light detecting function and including a laser projector, an eyeglass lens, at least one first diffractive optical element (DOE) film, an invisible light camera and a second DOE film are provided. The laser projector is configured to emit at least one invisible beam and an image beam. The at least one first DOE film is disposed on the eyeglass lens. The first DOE film is configured to diffract the invisible beam into a structured beam. The structured beam is transmitted to an object to be detected, so as to form a light pattern on the object to be detected. The invisible light camera is configured to photograph the light pattern on the object to be detected. The second DOE film is disposed on the eyeglass lens, and is configured to make the image beam travel to an eye.

Augmented reality eyeglasses having structured light detecting function

Augmented reality glasses are provided. The augmented reality glasses are adapted to be put on in front of the eyes of a user. The augmented reality glasses include at least one image source and a plurality of reflecting mirrors. The at least one image source is configured to provide at least one image beam to the eyes, and the at least one image beam has a plurality of sub-beams. The plurality of reflecting mirrors are disposed on a path of the at least one image beam to respectively reflect the sub-beams. The at least one image beam has at least one first width before being incident on the reflecting mirrors and has at least one second width after being reflected by the reflecting mirrors. The at least one second width is greater than the at least one first width.

A head mounted display including two display units is provided. Each display unit includes a display module and an optical assembly disposed in front of the display module. The display module includes a carrier body and a plurality of light-emitting elements. The carrier body includes a plurality of recesses. Each recess has a bottom surface and a reflective side wall connected to the bottom surface. A plurality of the light-emitting elements are located in the plurality of recesses. Each light-emitting element is disposed on the bottom surface of a corresponding recess. The optical assembly is disposed in front of the display module.

A near-eye display apparatus including at least one display unit having a display element and an optical system is provided. The display element provides a light beam. The light beam includes a first light beam and a second light beam having different image information and different polarization states. The optical system includes a first semi-reflective element, a first polarization conversion element, and a polarization reflector, arranged in sequence along an optical axis. The polarization reflector allows a light beam having a first polarization state to pass and reflects a light beam having a second polarization state. The light path and the image distance of the second light beam are greater than the light path and the image distance of the first light beam, and the first light beam and the second light beam are emitted by at least one display unit to form a combined light beam.
