An optical scanning system adapted to scan a sample on a chip is provided. The optical scanning system includes at least one optical scanning head, at least one scanning light source, a light receiving device and a processor. Each of at least one optical scanning head includes a focusing light source, a first optical guiding structure, and a control unit. The first optical guiding structure is configured to guide the focusing light emitted from the focusing light source to travel to the sample, and the first optical guiding structure is configured to guide the at least one scanning light emitted from the at least one scanning light source to the sample to generate a secondary light. The control unit is configured to control the first optical guiding structure to keep the focusing light and at least one scanning light focusing on a surface of the chip. The light receiving device receives the secondary light and generates a scanning electronic signal. The processor is electrically coupled to the light receiving device to dispose the scanning electronic signal.

Dynamic focusing confocal optical scanning system

An electromagnetic actuator is provided, including an object lens holder hanged by a set of wires forming suspended object. A focus coil set is fixed to object lens holder and placed surrounding focus and track shared magnet set. The focus coil located between object lens holder and focus and track shared magnet set is within magnetic field of focus and track shared magnet set. The focus coil located between tilt magnet set and magnetic field of focus and track shared magnet set is within the effective field of tilt magnet set and focus and track shared magnet set due to shielding effect of the yoke protruding plates. When a current runs through focus coil, a magnetic force in the focus direction is induced simultaneously within the range of tilt magnet set and focus and track shared magnet set so that object lens holder can focus.

Electromagnetic actuator of optical pickup head

An apparatus of auto-focusing is provided, including an outer holder, a wire set, a magnet set and an inner-holder. The magnet set is fixed at the corners inside the outer-holder. The inner-holder is a hollow cylinder surrounded by a coil. The wire set is connected to the top and the bottom ends of the outer-holder. The other end of the wire set is connected to the outer circumference of the inner-holder. Therefore, the inner-holder is a hanging moveable component, which can move vertically when the electrical current flows through the coil to achieve the object of auto-focusing.

Apparatus of driving lens for focusing

A focus driving apparatus with impact resistance is provided, including a lens carrier seat, a fixed base, a hanging element set, and a shake-resistant element set. The lens carrier seat is for carrying a lens. The hanging element set further includes a plurality of metal wires. The shake-resistant element set includes at least a soft resilient plate. One end of the metal wires of hanging element set is fixed to the lens carrier seat, and the other end penetrates the holes on the soft and resilient plate on the fixed base and is fixed to the shake-resistant element set. The shake-resistant element set can absorb the external impact force by deformation to provide protection to the hanging element set and lens carrier seat.

Focus driving apparatus with impact resistance

An adjustable optical actuator with tilting function is provided, including two focusing coils, a tilting coil, and two tracking coils. A lens holder is hanged on a yoke base. The focusing coils are placed on the two sides of the lens holder, and the current in the focusing coils is perpendicular to the optical axis of the lens. The tilting coil is placed on the lens holder, and the current in the tilting coil is perpendicular to the optical axis of the lens. The tracking coils are placed on the lens holder, and the current in the tracking coils is parallel to the optical axis of the lens. Four magnets are placed on the yoke base so that the four magnets are placed at the four corners of the lens holder to generate a closed magnetic-flux. The lens holder, focusing coils, tilting coil, and tracking coils are within the scope of the magnetic-flux generated by the four magnets so that the actuator has the functions of focusing, tracking and tilting for adjustment.

Adjustable optical pickup actuator

A driving apparatus for fine-tuning focus is provided, including a movable structure suspended inside an outer holder by a suspension set. The suspension set is connected to the movable structure and the outer holder respectively so that the movable structure is suspended inside the outer holder, and can move inside the outer holder. With a magnet force generated by the interaction of the magnetic field of said first magnet set and said second magnet set of said outer holder, and the electrical current in said first coils and said second coils of said movable structure, the magnet force is able to drive the movable structure upward and downward to adjust the focus.

Driving apparatus for fine-tuning focus

An objective lens for an optical disk drive is disclosed. The objective lens comprises four portions each having a aspherical surface for focusing a light beam of a designated wavelength to a designated focal point. The first portion has a first aspherical surface that focuses the light beam to a first focal point. The second portion has a second aspherical surface that focuses the light beam to a second focal point. The third portion has a third aspherical surface featuring the same surface curvature characteristics as that of the first aspherical surface and focuses the light beam to the first focal point. And, the fourth portion has a fourth aspherical surface featuring the same surface curvature characteristics as that of the second aspherical surface and focuses the light beam to the second focal point. The objective lens can be made as a single-piece lens that suffers no energy loss for either focusing.
