A spectrometer system with a volume holographic light guide element includes two focusing lenses in addition to the volume holographic light guide element, which has a light guide element and two volume holographic elements. The first focusing lens receives the light emitted by a to-be-tested light source at a first focal plane of the first focusing lens and makes the light converge and form plural collimated light beams that are projected to, and diffracted and coupled into the light guide element by, the first volume holographic element, are then received and coupled out of the light guide element by the second volume holographic element, and are subsequently received and focused on a sensing element by the second focusing lens. Each collimated light beam enters and exits the light guide element at the same angle. The spectrometer system can measure the intensity/chromatic uniformity of a relatively weak point/surface light source efficiently.

An image scanning, displaying and lighting system for eliminating color differences is revealed. The system includes an image scanner, a display screen with a second emission spectrum and a lighting device with a third emission spectrum. The image scanner consists of an optoelectronic image capturing and forming system, a plurality of first light sources disposed around the optoelectronic image capturing and forming system and a control module. The first light sources have a first emission spectrum which is a white light composed of a plurality of wavebands with different peak wavelengths. The control module controls the optoelectronic image capturing and forming system to take monochrome images in different colors in time sequence. The second emission spectrum has the same characteristics as the first emission spectrum while the third emission spectrum has the same characteristics as the second emission spectrum.

Image scanning, displaying and lighting system for eliminating color difference

The present invention provides a method for repairing incomplete 3D depth image using 2D image information. The method includes the following steps: obtaining 2D image information and 3D depth image information; dividing 2D image information into 2D reconstruction blocks and 2D reconstruction boundaries, and corresponding to 3D reconstruction of blocks and 3D reconstruction boundaries; analyzing each 3D reconstruction block, partitioning into residual-surface blocks and repaired blocks; and proceeding at least one 3D image reconstruction, which extends with the initial depth value of the 3D depth image of each of the residual-surface block and covers all the corresponding repaired block to form a repair block and to achieve the purpose of repairing incomplete 3D depth images using 2D image information.

The present invention discloses a laser stimulated white light lighting system, it includes a hemispherical reflector, a light-permeable board, a wavelength conversion layer, a reflective layer and plural heat-radiating structures, wherein the laser light emitted by a laser light source passes through a first light entrance hole of the hemispherical reflector and subsequently through the wavelength conversion layer to produce white light. With the implementation of the present invention, complex production process or equipment is not required thus reduce the system cost, the lighting system is capable of accurately outputting white light and promoting photon recycling effect to raise illumination efficiency. With the addition of a second light entrance hole, wavelength-division or angular division multiplexing can be carried out to raise the intensity of the output white light without increasing the etendue of the source light, thereby widening the range of application of the lighting system.

The present invention discloses an optic distribution meter that includes a testing system and an imaging system. The testing system includes an arc-shaped brace which has an extended object holder; and a rail base which has a first rail. The imaging system, set at a side of the testing system, includes a screen and an image catcher. With the implementation of the present invention, the rail base is able to rotate or move an object to a test angle with very little light blocking of measurements. Besides, with the first rail supporting the object, the incident angle of the light of a light source to the object remains unchanged when the measuring angle of the imaging system is changed. Thus ensure the accuracy of measurements of the optic distribution meter.

A blue light leakage-suppressing LED structure for emitting white light includes at least one LED chip, an encapsulation element, a light output lens, and an optical fuse coating formed of a thermosensitive material; or includes at least one LED chip and an encapsulation element formed of a mixture of an encapsulation material and a thermosensitive material; or includes at least one blue LED chip, a fluorescent powder layer, an isolation region, an optical fuse layer, and a light output lens. Thanks to the hue changing property of the thermosensitive material, the LED structure can reduce the intensity of its short-wavelength light component and its overall brightness significantly before reaching the L70 threshold, after passing which the LED structure will emit excessive blue light. Thus, the user is protected from overexposure to blue light and will be reminded to replace the LED structure when the LED structure is about to malfunction.

A lamp structure of an adaptive streetlight includes a housing, a plurality of light sources, and a surface-structured diffusion plate. The surface-structured diffusion plate enables the lamp structure to provide a light pattern conforming to the curvature of the road to be illuminated or other sites of application, thus reducing not only the number of lamps or streetlights required for a curvy road section, but also the associated installation cost and power consumption. The lamp structure can enhance road users' safety and the safety of our daily lives by increasing the illuminance on a curvy road and other sites of application that have special requirements.

A gray code encoding and decoding method applied to holographic storage devices is proposed. The encoding method uses gray levels of a 2D detector to encode a certain amount of original bits of the original data, and then sends them to a spatial light modulator (SLM) for encryption. The decoding method corrects the received gray levels to the original gray levels, and then compares the maximum gray level with the original gray levels to decode the original gray level into binary data. The proposed encoding and decoding method can better make use of storage locations of the 2D detector and get a code rate close to 1.

A method of increasing color gamut of a color display includes grouping subpixels of R, G, and B primary colors of a pixel by grouping R, G, and B light sources of the color display with a corresponding light intensity adjustment mechanism based on an overlapping degree between two response spectrums of the light sources. The response spectrums of the light intensity adjustment mechanism of the same group have minimal overlapping with that of other groups. The method further includes enabling groups of R, G, and B subpixels, activating the R, G, and B light sources and the corresponding light intensity adjustment mechanism, and disabling the remaining groups of subpixels all by turns for creating a vivid complete picture by time division color-mixing.

Method of increasing color gamut of a color display

A method measures chromaticity values using a colorimeter to solve the drawbacks of conventional technologies, such as an inaccurate illuminant, the filter of color-matching function being difficult to be deposited and manufactured within a filter mod colorimeter, and using an expensive spectrometer within a spectrum mode colorimeter. The spectrometer and the filter of color-matching function is not needed, and an accurate chromaticity value of an object by using a multi-band illuminant illuminating the object and a power meter. Further, the multi-band illuminant can adjust the illumination condition of a standard illuminator under different color temperatures, and the chromaticity values of the object can be measured under different color temperatures. The accuracy of the measured chromaticity values is up to the level of the spectrum mode colorimeter, and the price is less than the spectrum mode colorimeter.

A direct-light-type backlight module uses optical feedback to control point light sources for obtaining a default luminance. Each point light source drives a section in a cyclic time domain to emit a light. A photo detector detects a brightness and the brightness is thus controlled by the optical feedback from the photo detector.

A method for controlling light-emission of a light-emitting diode (LED) light source whose heat is dissipated by a thermal module is provided. The method includes following steps: providing a constant current source to drive the LED light source and obtaining a reference voltage correspondingly; monitoring and obtaining a dynamic voltage of the LED light source; and comparing the dynamic voltage with the reference voltage and adjusting a heat-dissipating power of the thermal module in real time to make the dynamic voltage of the LED light source approach the reference voltage. By monitoring the dynamic voltage of the LED light source and adjusting the heat-dissipating power of the thermal module in real time, light power of the LED light source can be maintained.
