A device for detecting state-of-health (SOH) of batteries has a detection module, a computation control module and an output module. The computation control module is electrically connected to the detection module and the output module. The detection module detects voltage values of a battery at multiple test points. The computation control module converts the voltage values at the test points into a ratio and maps the ratio to a SOH value in a SOH curve of the battery indicative of a state of health of the battery and the SOH value is outputted through the output module. The present invention can easily detect the SOH of a battery within a short period of time to solve the existing problems of being time-consuming and complicated in determining the SOH of batteries and causing incorrect determination of battery capacity and additional maintenance cost.

Device and method for detecting state of health of batteries

A stimulus-based steering sensor device and a method for the same are disclosed. The sensor device comprises at least one driving wheel, a processor, two driven wheels, and two resolvers. The processor generates a stimulus signal and has a signal-angle lookup table. The driving wheel contacts two driven wheels. When following the rotation of a steering column, the driving wheel drives two driven wheels to rotate at different speeds. Two resolvers connect with the processor, respectively engage with two driven wheels, receive the stimulus signal, and respectively output two first sinusoidal signals to the processor according to the rotational speeds of two driven wheels. The processor analyzes two first sinusoidal signals to obtain two second sinusoidal signals having different periods, and uses the second sinusoidal signals and the signal-angle lookup table to obtain a first absolute angle value of the rotation of the steering wheel.

Stimulus-based steering sensor device and method for the same

A torque sensor includes a driving rod, a driving body connected fixedly to the driving rod, and a driving block extending from the driving body and having two opposite pushing surfaces, a driven body permitting the driving body to rotate relative thereto as a result of application of a torque to the driving rod, a driven rod extending from the driven body, and a block-receiving groove formed in the driven body. A first measuring module is connected to the driving block. A second measuring module is connected to the driven body, and cooperates with the first measuring module so as to measure the torque. Two resilient members flank the driving block. Each of the resilient members is disposed between and abuts against the corresponding pushing surface and the driven body.

Torque sensor

A variable ratio transmission mechanism is used in an automobile. The automobile includes first and second steering shafts extending along a first direction. The variable ratio transmission mechanism includes a securing unit connected to the first steering shaft, a connecting unit connected to the second steering shaft, a motor connected to the securing unit and including a revolving shaft that extends rotatably along a second direction different from the first direction, and a transmitting unit including a worm gear that is provided on the connecting unit and a worm that is provided on the revolving shaft and that engages and is angularly-slidable relative to the worm gear.

Variable ratio transmission mechanism

A vehicle stability control method is to be performed by a vehicle stability control system of a motor vehicle, and includes the steps of: detecting an actual yaw rate, and obtaining a plurality of detection values by detecting a vehicle speed and a steering wheel angle, and at least one operation status selected from a lateral acceleration status, a load status and a steering wheel angular speed status; obtaining a plurality of intermediate weight values, from which a steering characteristic value is determined, based on the obtained detection values; obtaining a target yaw rate based on the vehicle speed, the steering wheel angle and the steering characteristic value; and controlling steering of road wheels according to difference between the target and actual yaw rates.

Vehicle stability control method and system

A linear actuating device includes a track unit having an insulating sleeve made of non-metallic material and surrounding an axis, a plurality of coils mounted spacedly and sleevingly on the insulating sleeve along the axis, and a shell containing the insulating sleeve and the coils. The linear actuating device also includes a forcer unit having an elongate member extending through the insulating sleeve, having a segment configured for connecting to a vehicle shaft, and being movable along the axis relative to the insulating sleeve. The forcer unit also includes a plurality of magnets mounted spacedly relative to the axis and sleevingly on the elongate member.

Linear actuating device for vehicle use

The present invention discloses a self-calibration method for an electric power steering system, which can self-calibrate the sensors to a normalized state to prevent from signal distortion, whereby to maintain stable steering sense of the driver and promote robustness and performance of the EPS system. The self-calibration method includes a signal offset compensation tactic and a zero-point signal self-calibration tactic. The present invention determines whether to undertake self-calibration according to judgement tactics, including a sensor power supply judgement tactic, a sensor correctness judgement tactic, and a self-calibration triggering condition. The self-calibration method can increase the correctness of sensors, maintain the original steering-assisting function and promote robustness of the EPS system.

Self-calibration method for electric power steering system

A torque detector includes an output body, an input body adapted to permit a torque to be applied thereto, a torque beam unit, and a detecting unit disposed between the input and output bodies for converting a relative rotation of the input and output bodies into an electric signal. The torque beam unit includes a shaft, at least one flexible first beam extending radially and outwardly from the shaft and having a proximate end portion connected to the shaft, and a distal end portion connected to and co-rotatable with the output body, and at least one second flexible beam extending radially and outwardly from the shaft in a direction different from that of the first beam and having a proximate end portion connected to the shaft, and a distal end portion connected to and co-rotatable with the input body.
