An electric power system for transportation comprises an electric generator started up by an ignition signal, an electricity storage element and a power supply connected to the electric generator, the electricity storage element and the load. The power supply comprises a standby power supply unit, an operating power supply unit and a control unit connected to the electric generator. The control unit is provided with a first state allowing the standby power supply unit and the operating power supply unit to stop operation when the ignition signal is not detected, and a second state starting up the standby power supply unit so as to allow the standby power supply unit to supply electric power to the load and induce the load to emit an on-off signal to the operating power supply unit when the ignition signal is detected.

Electric power system for transportation

A start-up architecture of a redundant power supply system is provided. The redundant power supply system is electrically connected to a load, and includes N+M power supplies, where N&#x2267;1 and M&#x2267;1. The start-up architecture includes a power integration backboard electrically connected to the power supplies, and a mode switching member. The power integration backboard includes an activation circuit, and has a synchronous booting mode in which the power supplies are simultaneously activated and a sequential booting mode in which the power supplies are sequentially activated. The mode switching member is electrically connected to the activation circuit, and receives a manual switching of a user to output a synchronous booting signal that controls the power integration backboard to enter the synchronous booting mode and to output a sequential booting signal that controls the power integration backboard to enter the sequential booting mode.

A power supply consuming low energy in standby conditions includes a primary power system activated by standby power, a standby power system, a remote start/stop signal source and a start triggering circuit. The remote start/stop signal source is triggered by users to generate a remote start/stop signal sent to the start triggering circuit to generate a start signal. The standby power system is connected to a control unit and generates the standby power according to an electric signal provided by the control unit. The control unit also determines time series of sending the electric signal to the standby power system according to time series of the start signal being generated. Thus a mechanism to start and stop the standby power system is formed.

Power supply consuming low energy in standby conditions

A machine boot up protection structure for parallel power supply equipment provides a determination level to set the parallel power supply equipment in an ON condition. It has a control unit to receive a connection signal output by each of power supply units to compare with the determination level. If the comparison matches, all of the power supply units are activated to the ON condition. If the comparison does not match, all of the power supply units are set to an OFF condition. Thereby when the external power is not completely connected, some of the power supply units do not suffer from overloading and damaging.

The present invention discloses a cooling-fan rotation-speed control circuit, wherein a plurality of sets of input power sources respectively having different voltages is electrically and parallel coupled to a cooling fan; a switch is installed between at least one input power source and the cooling fan; the switch is turned on/off according to a rotation-speed parameter to determine whether the cooling fan is driven by a low-voltage driving power or a high-voltage driving power.

An identification apparatus for backup-type power supply systems aims to be used on a backup-type power supply system which includes real power supply devices and dummy power supply devices to form a N+1 architecture to output power. It has signal generation means located on the real power supply devices and dummy power supply devices to generate real identification signals and dummy identification signals of different potentials and a signal detection means to receive the identification signals to identify the real power supply devices and dummy power supply devices. Thereby operators can clearly understand coupling and installation conditions of the power supply devices of the backup-type power supply system to perform power risk management.

Identification apparatus for backup-type power supply systems

A method for identifying power supply modules is adopted for use on a backup-type power supply system that includes real power supply modules and a dummy power supply module structured in a N+1 architecture to output power. By altering PG signal issue time and identifying PG signal delivery time difference of different power supply modules, the real power supply modules and the dummy power supply module can be identified. Thus operators can clearly understand coupling and installation conditions of the power supply modules of the backup-type power supply system to facilitate power risk management.

An individual control circuit and method of multiple power output to be used on a single server power supply system includes a circuit board to receive power from the single server power supply system, a plurality of power output units located on the circuit board each supplies power required by a power system and each has a power OFF mode and a power ON mode, and a control circuit located on the circuit board to drive the power output units to output power. The control circuit receives a duty signal from feedback of the power system to determine whether the power system is abnormal, and orders the power output unit which provides power at the front end of the abnormal power system to enter the power OFF mode.

Individual control circuit and method of multiple power output

The present invention discloses a control structure for a power supply, which comprises: a primary power system, a power switching unit, and at least one switch. The primary power system transforms an external source power into DC powers. The power switching unit is normally electrically connected with the primary power system and normally driven by a DC power output by the primary power system. The switch is installed on a DC power cable supplying DC power to an internal electronic device. Thereby, when the computer is turned off, the present invention will not be affected but can still provide DC powers to external electronic devices. Further, even though the computer is turned off, the present invention can still provide the external electronic devices with the maximum power (when only the primary power system is installed) or the total power (when the primary power system is connected in parallel with a regular power system).

A heat dissipating apparatus with stationary power supply includes power supplies having a primary power system and a stationary power system, at least one heat dissipating fan and a fan driving unit electrically connected to the stationary power system. The stationary power of the fan driving unit is used for the operation, and the stationary power system has a function of detecting the temperature during its normal output and determining whether or not to supply stationary power for the operation of the heat dissipating fan according to the temperature inside a computer casing, such that the computer casing can achieve the effect of lowering its internal temperature normally and automatically.

A backup-type power supply system aims to integrate power output according to different potentials through different power supply modules. Each power supply module includes backup-type N+1 power supply devices and an independent power balance unit to output power in a balanced fashion so that users can add the power supply module of independent potential according requirements. Thereby transformation power loss of the power supply devices can be reduced. The power supply devices can be designed with different specifications and dimensions corresponding to different electronic devices.

A chain reaction control circuit for parallel power supply provides greater power without changing the design of the original power supply structure. It includes a control unit to receive a first power actuation signal output from a power actuation unit, then output multiple sets of second power actuation signals to parallel power supplies. After the electric power transformation has been finished, first power confirmation signals are output from the power supplies to the control unit which receives the first power confirmation signals and outputs a second power confirmation signal to a linked load. An air fan rotation speed control method and a structure thereof aim to provide an automatic control mode and a manual control mode at the same time to control rotation speed regulation of an air fan to achieve instant heat dissipation for an environment and reduce temperature rising of the environment efficiently. The present invention has a rotation speed determination mechanism that adopts the higher rotation speed request at a higher priority to regulate the rotation speed of the air fan in either control mode. Hence the temperature of the environment can be reduced at the higher rotation speed.
