A radio base station that performs radio communication with a mobile station in a cell and that includes: resource management unit that secures resources necessary for radio communication with the mobile station; and communication control unit that, in accordance with a reconnection request from the mobile station, uses the resources secured by the resource management unit to perform reconnection control for establishing radio communication with the mobile station. If a reconnection request is received from the mobile station that takes another radio base station as the connection source in a state in which resources have not been secured by resource management unit, communication control unit interrupts the reconnection control, executes handover with the other base station in order to switch the connection destination of the mobile station from the other base station to its own base station, causes resource management unit to secure resources, and then resumes the reconnection control.

A radio base station () of the present invention comprises: a determination unit () that determines whether to perform an off-the-air of a cell () managed by the local radio base station (); a communication unit () that communicates with the other radio base stations () managing peripheral cells and with a communication provider apparatus () managing the bearer information of a user terminal (); and a communication control unit (). When it is determined that the off-the-air of the cell of the local radio base station () is to be performed, the communication control unit () transmits, to the other radio base stations () managing the peripheral cells, the authentication code of the user terminal () existing in the cell of the local radio base station (). Radio base station and control method therefor

A mobile station measures reception quality levels of individual peripheral cells of a source cell and transmits information of the measured reception quality levels of the individual peripheral cells to a source base station that manages the source cell. The source base station selects a group of cells that are to be handed over, based on the information of reception quality levels of the individual peripheral cells that is received from the mobile station, and transmits information of handover ready completion cells that are ready for handover in the selected group of cells to the mobile station. The mobile station selects a target cell that is to be handed over, based on the information of handover ready completion cells that is received from the source base station, and on the information of reception quality levels of the individual peripheral cells at that time.

A network selection for easily selecting a network according to its status is disclosed. The present invention aims to provide the radio access network system which can analyze a fault during call processing by a mobile terminal. A control equipment for controlling calls for a mobile terminal and a relay equipment for relaying control signals between the mobile terminal and the control equipment monitor control signals during the call processing for the specified mobile terminal. A data collection and analysis equipment receives and processes those monitored control signals for a fault analysis.

An RNC is divided into a plurality of user plane servers (UPSs) for executing the transmission control of user's data and a control plane server (CPS) for executing the transmission control of a control signal for transmitting user's data. A C plane control section for executing the transmission control of the control signal for transmitting the user's data is disposed in the CPS, and similarly a U plane control section for executing the transmission control of the user's data is disposed in each of the UPSs. A logical connection for transmitting control information is interposed between the U plane control section and the C plane control section. An information delivery system includes a mobile terminal of a user, a home domain, and an access destination domain for a specific area to which the mobile terminal currently belongs. The access destination domain transmits a selected service data of a group of service data about the specific area to the mobile terminal when acquiring an identifier of the mobile terminal, and transmits a user personal data request with the identifier of the mobile terminal to the home domain. The home domain transmits user personal data corresponding to the identifier to the access destination domain in response to the user personal data request, and the user personal data indicates features of the user. The access destination domain updates statistic data based on the user personal data, and previously selects one of the group of service data as the selected service data based on the updated statistic data.

A network system for mobile radio communication includes a network constituted by a server unit and a client unit, a radio connection unit connected to a communication network, a public radio base station installed in a cell, and a mobile radio terminal which establishes a radio channel with the public radio base station while moving. The network system performs data communication between the server unit and the mobile radio terminal. Each of the server unit and the mobile radio terminal includes a buffer memory and an auxiliary storage unit which hold data. The mobile radio terminal includes an electric field strength monitoring section for monitoring slot errors or a reduction in electric field strength, a section for storing data in the buffer memory during data transmission to the server unit when the level based on slot errors or a reduction in electric field strength is equal to or higher than a threshold for line switching, a section for sending a line switching notification to the server unit, a section for sending a line switching request to the public radio base station, and a section for starting to transmit the data stored in the buffer memory upon reception of a response indicating completion of line switching from the public radio base station.

In a portable information terminal system including a CPU and peripheral circuits, there is provided a discharge quantity table for storing remaining power levels. Each of the remaining power levels is defined based on a state of the portable information terminal system as a system state and a voltage of a power supply. A voltage detecting unit detects the power supply voltage in response to a voltage detection request. A control section monitors the system state, and issues the voltage detection request in response to a voltage check request. The control section refers to the discharge quantity table based on the power supply voltage detected by the voltage detecting unit and the monitored system state to determine the remaining power level of the power supply.
