The present invention comprises a plurality of laminating double-side circuit boards and a plurality sheets of prepreg for interlayer connection that are placed one on another. Via holes extend from the circuit on one side of each laminating double-side circuit board to the circuit on the other side thereof. Each via hole is filled with electro-conductive material to connect the circuits on both sides of the laminating double-side circuit board. The pad on a laminating double-side circuit board and the pad on another laminating double-side circuit board are laminated via a sheet of prepreg for interlayer connection so that the respective pads are opposed to each other via the through hole filled with electro-conductive material formed through the sheet of prepreg for interlayer connection. Thereby, the respective pads on the laminating double-side wiring circuit boards are electrically connected with one another. Thus, the present invention can provide a multilayer printed wiring board having shorter production time, excellent reliability, and high yield.

A solid electrolytic capacitor having excellent solder wettability and heat resisting adhesion and a method of manufacturing same are obtained by a simple plating configuration. The capacitor includes a capacitor element, positive electrode terminal and negative electrode terminal. The positive electrode terminal and the negative electrode terminal include a metallic member containing (i) at least one selected from the group consisting of nickel, nickel alloy, copper and copper alloy, (ii) a first plated layer of tin or tin alloy, directly disposed without undercoat on the metallic member, and (iii) an intermetallic compound layer formed between the metallic member and the first plated layer. The intermetallic compound layer contains tin-nickel or tin-copper formed through heat reflow treatment of the metallic member disposed on the first plated layer.

A dry sandblasting treatment for spraying abrasives onto a surface of an insulating resin layer, a chemical etching for chemically etching the surface, and a plating process for plating a conductive layer on the resulting insulating resin layer are successively performed. Since the surface of the insulating resin layer is roughened by the dry sandblasting treatment and the resulting surface is subjected to the chemical etching, a minute anchor structure is formed on the surface. Accordingly, the adhesion between the insulating resin layer and a plating layer (i.e., a circuit conductive layer) is improved. Due to the dry sandblasting treatment, the shape of a via hole formed in the insulating resin layer is improved, and an exposed surface of the circuit conductor layer and an inner wall of a through-hole are cleaned.

A hybrid integrated circuit component for insertion in a slit of a mother printed circuit board, and a method of mounting the hybrid integrated circuit component. The circuit component includes a flexible circuit board composed of a flexible insulated substrate, a circuit conductor formed on one side of the substrate, and a pair of conductor layers formed along opposite sides of the substrate to serve as external connection terminals. Circuit elements are mounted on the substrate and electrically connected to the circuit conductor. A pair of hard supporting plates are cemented on the other surface and at the opposite sides of the substrate so that the flexible circuit board can be folded at a center bending portion of the substrate so that the supporting plates face each other and so that the connection terminals are arranged close to each other when the substrate is folded and so that the substrate at its bending portion, when folded, has a sufficient spring characteristic for ensuring contact between the slit of the mother printed circuit board and each of the connection terminals, when the connection terminals are inserted into the slit of the mother printed circuit board.

Chip type circuit elements are mounted on adhesive layers provided on predetermined positions of a printed circuit board by pushing up each circuit element stack inserted in a magazine which is vertically held just below the corresponding adhesive layer and which is inserted through a corresponding through-hole defined by a lattice-shaped and horizontally placed magazine guide. This method and apparatus can quickly mount chip type circuit elements on the printed circuit board, and make possible an easy change of the circuit element pattern, without necessitating the use of an NC machine.
