An engine automatic stop/restart device includes an ignition-prohibition-decision unit that prohibits an ignition for an engine, which is controlled by the ignition-control unit, when a reverse rotation of the engine is detected based on a crank-angle signal; and an ignition-prohibition-release-decision unit that releases an ignition prohibition, after the ignition is prohibited by the ignition-prohibition-decision unit; in which the ignition-prohibition-release-decision unit releases the ignition prohibition when regular rotational signals of the engine, of which count is greater than or equal to a predetermined count, is detected and an engine revolution number is greater than or equal to a predetermined revolution number, after the reverse rotation of the engine is detected, and before a crank is positioned at a compression top dead center of the engine.

Engine automatic stop/restart device

An engine control section () is configured to: start power supply to pinion-gear moving sections () based on an engine rpm which becomes smaller than an rpm at which the meshing engagement is possible while the engine is rotating by inertia as a result of satisfaction of an automatic stop condition; temporarily stop the power supply to the pinion-gear moving sections when an amount of change in the rpm of the engine exceeds a predetermined increase detection threshold value before time required for a pinion gear () to come into abutment against a ring gear () elapses after the start of the power supply; and restart the power supply to the pinion-gear moving sections when the amount of change in the rpm of the engine becomes smaller than a predetermined decrease detection threshold value after the power supply is temporarily stopped.

Engine automatic stop and restart apparatus and engine automatic stop and restart method

An apparatus including an engine control unit which is configured to: start to supply electricity to a starter motor and start measurement of a power supply period; supply electricity to a solenoid when an absolute value of a rpm difference between an rpm of the engine and an estimated rpm of a pinion gear determined from a rpm table based on the measured power supply period becomes smaller than a rpm difference threshold value at which the pinion gear and a ring gear can be engaged with each other; judge that the engine is self-resumed when the engine becomes a state capable of self rotation with only fuel supply in a case where the rpm of the engine is larger than the estimated rpm of the pinion gear; and finish supplying electricity to the starter motor and finish measuring the power supply period, and finish supplying electricity to the solenoid.

Engine automatic stop and restart apparatus

In an internal combustion engine automatic-stop/restart control system according to the present invention, excellent restartability of an internal combustion engine is ensured in such a way that, while the internal combustion engine inertially rotates after its automatic stop, a solenoid of a starting apparatus for starting the internal combustion engine is driven so that a pinion gear is moved in the axis direction and pushing the pinion gear against a ring gear is started, and detection of a reference signal through a crank angle signal is prohibited until a predetermined period elapses after the pushing has been started so that erroneous reference signal recognition is prevented.

Internal combustion engine automatic-stop/restart control system

The driving output of the electric oil pump during an engine automatic stop is learnt by gradually increasing the driving output of the electric oil pump after an engine automatic stop and discriminating a state immediately before engagement on the basis of the behavior of an input shaft rotation number and a turbine rotation number. Thereby, the working oil pressure supplied by the electric oil pump during an engine automatic stop immediately after an engine automatic stop can be made suitable even if a vehicle is in a stopped state without adding an oil pressure sensor and an oil pressure switch, and a vain increase in power consumption, a deterioration of acceleration responsiveness at the time of an engine restart, generation of shock, or a soaring of the number of engine rotations can be prevented.

Control device for automatic transmission

A throttle valve control block in a microcomputer has a processing load judging means for judging a processing load status of the microcomputer, and an AD converting means for converting an analog opening degree detection signal and outputting a digital opening degree detection signal. The AD converting means has a first conversion mode in which the digital conversion is carried out with high conversion precision, and a second conversion mode in which the digital conversion is carried out with conversion precision lower than the first conversion mode. The first and second conversion modes are set to be switchable to each other, and also switched by the process load judging means.

Electronic throttle control device for engine

A engine control device includes a failure judgment means for making at least a failure judgment of an intake pipe pressure sensor. The failure judgment means includes a first data processing for outputting an estimated intake pipe pressure signal, a second data processing for outputting a modification estimated intake pipe pressure signal in which the estimated intake pipe pressure signal is modified, and a failure judgment processing for making a failure judgment of at least the intake pipe pressure sensor by comparing the measured intake pipe pressure signal with the modification estimated intake pipe pressure signal. The modification estimated intake pipe pressure signal has a change portion changing between a change portion of the estimated intake pipe pressure signal and a change portion of the measured intake pipe pressure signal, when the throttle valve opening degree is changed.

Engine control device

An electronic throttle control system includes an electronic control unit that performs failsafe control for cases where failure of throttle valve is detected, and stores failure information about the throttle valve in a memoryso that the failure information can be referenced by an external tool during failure diagnosis, and that initializes the memorywhen failure diagnosis is complete. The electronic throttle control system further includes a crank angle sensor for detecting engine speed. The electronic control unit initializes the memory that stores failure information relating to electronic control of the throttle valve for cases where an initialization request signal for initializing the memory that stores the throttle valve failure information is inputted from the external tool, and the engine speed that is computed based on the crank angle detected by the crank angle sensor is zero.

Electronic throttle control system

An EGR valve control apparatus is provided which is capable of controlling an amount of exhaust gas to be recirculated in a precise and proper manner by using a step motor, as well as improving the durability of an EGR valve. The EGR valve control apparatus adjusts an opening of the EGR valve for opening and closing an exhaust gas recirculation passage connecting between an exhaust passage and an intake passage by means of the step motor. The apparatus includes a hysteresis-provided drive control section for driving the step motor in accordance with the target position and performing control with hysteresis of two steps or more so as to hold the position of the step motor when a difference between the target position and the current position of the step motor is equal to or less than a prescribed n steps which is equal to or greater than two steps, and a forced drive control section for driving the step motor to the target position thereof while stopping the hysteresis-provided control when a deviation between the target position and the current position of the step motor remains for a predetermined period of time.

EGR valve control apparatus

A fuel controller for an internal combustion engine includes a rotational speed sensor 4 for detecting a rotational speed of a cam shaft of the engine 1, a crank angle sensor 5 for detecting a rotational speed of a crank shaft of the engine 1, and a controller 7 for determining whether the crank angle sensor 5 is normally operated or not based on an output from the rotational speed sensor 4 and an output from the crank angle sensor 5. With this arrangement, the fuel controller can securely execute fuel control with high reliability by detecting the failure of various sensors relating to the fuel control.
