A coil component that includes a coil having a thick coil core and good inductance characteristics and is able to narrow the pitch of a coil electrode is provided. The wiring of a coil electrode in a direction across the direction of a winding axis of the coil electrode includes a plurality of first metal pins and a plurality of second metal pins. By elongating each metal pin, the wiring of the coil electrode is easily elongated in a metal pin direction. Thus, a coil core is easily thickened in the metal pin direction. The wiring of the coil electrode can be formed in the metal pin direction only by arranging the metal pins. Thus, it is possible to provide a coil component that includes a coil having the thick coil core and good inductance characteristics and is able to narrow the pitch of the coil electrode.

Coil component, coil module, and method for manufacturing coil component

An inductively coupled module includes a wireless IC chip and a feeder circuit substrate which is connected to the wireless IC chip and which includes a feeder circuit including an inductance element and a capacitance element. The feeder circuit substrate is made of a biodegradable plastic so as to prevent a negative impact of the module on the environment and the human body. The inductively coupled module is adhered on a radiation plate and is used as a wireless IC device of an RFID system.

Pneumatic pressure monitoring units that measure pneumatic pressures of respective tires and that transmit results of the measurements of the pneumatic pressures from respective antennas by the use of radio signals are provided at the tires, respectively. A communication unit including a beam controller arranged to selectively direct reception beams towards the respective tires is provided at substantially the center near the bottom surface of a vehicle. The antennas of the respective pneumatic pressure monitoring units are constructed so that directivity patterns of transmission beams are directed towards the inside in axle directions of the tires.

A platinum temperature sensor includes a sensor body formed of a cylindrically rolled plate-type ceramic sheet and a platinum resistance pattern provided on the surface of the ceramic sheet. The platinum resistance pattern is provided on the inner or outer surface of the ceramic sheet. The sensor may further include lead wires, and the ceramic sheet may have through holes for lead wires, which are conductively connected to both ends of the platinum resistance pattern. The lead wires are connected to the platinum resistance pattern. The sensor may further include resistance regulating lines provided on the outer surface of the ceramic sheet, and the ceramic sheet may have through holes reaching the intermediate portion of the platinum resistance pattern. The resistance regulating lines are connected to the platinum resistance pattern through a plurality of said through holes, and may be selectively cut to adjust the resistance of the platinum resistance pattern.

Platinum temperature sensor

A platinum temperature sensor has a plurality of stacked plate-type ceramic sheets, platinum resistance patterns provided on the surfaces of the respective ceramic sheets so that each of the platinum resistance patterns has a plurality of bent portions, and connecting means for connecting adjacent ones of the platinum resistance patterns with each other, the patterns being provided between the ceramic sheets. The connecting means comprises through holes provided in the ceramic sheets and metal paste members arranged in the through holes to interconnect respective ends of the platinum resistance patterns.
