A self-conscious type eye examining apparatus is provided with a Stokes' cross cylinder in a view field window, a spherical lens group having a plurality of spherical lenses selectively disposed in the optical path of the cross cylinder, a first electric rotating device coupled to the cross cylinder to rotate the cross cylinder independently, a second electric rotating device for inserting a predetermined lens of the spherical lens group into the view field window, and a control device for controlling the rotations of the first and second electric rotating devices in a predetermined relation.

Self-conscious type eye examining apparatus

An apparatus which comprises a collimating lens, light source means for selectively forming light sources in two positions on the optical axis of the collimating lens, means for defining the position of the lens to be inspected opposite to the light source with respect to the collimating lens, a mask plate having translucent or opaque areas symmetrical to the optical axis, a relay lens for placing the mask plate at a position conjugate with the lens position, an imaging lens positioned opposite to the mask plate with respect to the relay lens, and photoelectric converting means for producing image signals corresponding to the positions, in a plane perpendicular to the optical axis, of the image of the translucent or opaque areas of the mask plate formed by the imaging lens.

Apparatus for measuring optical characteristics of optical systems

In a constant high voltage generating circuit for converting the high voltage of an unregulated voltage source into a constant voltage by means of a control element operable in response to the output of an error detecting circuit for detecting any error of the output voltage of the constant voltage generating circuit, there is provided a circuit for generating a high frequency wave corresponding to the output of the error detecting circuit, and a circuit for receiving the wave and applying it to the input of the control element, whereby the output of the error detecting circuit may be transmitted to the control element by the high frequency wave.
