A drainage mechanism is connected to a drain pump that sucks water from a drain pan. The drainage mechanism includes a connecting part that connects to the drain pump, a first flow path, a folded part, and a second flow path. The first flow path extends upward from the connecting part. The folded part has a first end connected to an upper end of the first flow path and a second end on a side opposite to the first end. The folded part changes a direction of the water flowing therein from upward to downward. The second flow path extends from the second end. The second flow path is a pipe that has an inner diameter of 13 mm or less. The flow path area of the folded part is larger than the flow path area of the second flow path.

Drainage mechanism and air conditioning system including the same

A fan includes a core part, a vanes, a ring part and a flow rectifying member. The ring part includes first second and third parts. The first part includes a first end overlapping with a flow rectifying member end and extends axially on a radially inner side of the flow rectifying member. The second part includes a second end spaced from the flow rectifying member end, overlapping with the flow rectifying member, and connected to the first end. The third part is connected to the second end, and extends on the radially outer side of the flow rectifying member end. The second end overlaps with a virtual point reached by the flow rectifying member end being linearly extended toward an upstream side. A first dimension, a radial length of the third part, is at least 0.5 times a first straight-line distance between the flow rectifying member end and the virtual point.

Fan and refrigeration apparatus including fan

An air conditioning apparatus includes a casing having intake and blow-out ports, a partition member dividing an interior of the casing, a heat exchanger and a centrifugal fan. The centrifugal fan includes a hub and a bladed wheel having a plurality of rearward blades and sucks air existing in the heat exchanger compartment into the fan compartment through the fan entrance. The bladed wheel is mounted in the fan compartment such that a rotary shaft of the bladed wheel is oriented along an opening direction of the fan entrance and an opening direction of the blow-out port. The hub connects blow-out port side ends of the plural rearward blades and is configured to be rotated about the rotary shaft. The hub has an outer diameter smaller than an outer diameter of the rearward blades.

Air conditioning apparatus

An air conditioning apparatus includes a casing having intake and blow-out ports, a partition member dividing an interior of the casing, a heat exchanger, a centrifugal fan, and a heater. The centrifugal fan includes a bladed wheel having a plurality of rearward blades and sucks air existing in the heat exchanger compartment into the fan compartment through the fan entrance. The bladed wheel is mounted in the fan compartment such that a rotary shaft of the bladed wheel is oriented along an opening direction of the fan entrance and an opening direction of the blow-out port. The heater is mounted in a blow-out port opposed space. The blow-out port opposed space is a region opposed to the blow-out port within a fan downwind space. The fan downwind space is a space located on a downwind side of the bladed wheel within the fan compartment.

An air conditioning apparatus includes a casing having intake and blow-out ports, a partition member dividing an interior of the casing, a heat exchanger, and a centrifugal fan. The blow-out port is at least partially disposed adjacent to a blow-out port nearby lateral part of the casing along an opening direction of a fan entrance and the blow-out port. A fan downwind space is located on a downwind side of a bladed wheel within a fan compartment, and has a blow-out port opposed space and a blow-out port non-opposed space. A first guide member directs air existing in the blow-out port non-opposed space toward the blow-out port opposed space, and is mounted in a boundary region located astride of regions located on forward and rearward sides in a rotary direction within the blow-out port non-opposed and blow-out port opposed spaces, respectively.

A ceiling embedded type air conditioner is embedded in a ceiling surface and includes an outlet that blows out air conditioned air toward an indoor space, and a louver capable of changing a blow-out vertical direction of the air conditioned air at the outlet. If a state in which a wind direction position of the louver is set so that it is oriented to a wind direction position continues for a first prescribed time or longer, then the louver is temporarily changed to a wind direction position more downward than the wind direction position, and once again changed to the wind direction position.

Ceiling-embedded type air conditioner, and a control method thereof

A ceiling embedded type air conditioner that reduces short circuits without increasing drafts due to air currents blown out from outlets includes a casing and a fan. The casing includes a casing lower part formed by an alternating sequence of four panel side parts and four panel corner parts. The casing further includes four main outlet passageways along the panel side parts, auxiliary outlet passageways in the three panel corner parts and an inlet that is surrounded by all of the panel side parts. The auxiliary outlet passageways are formed so that the spacing between each auxiliary outlet passageways and a corresponding adjacent main outlet passageways satisfies a prescribed dimensional relationship.

Air conditioner

An impeller of a centrifugal fan includes an end plate, a plurality of blades and an end ring. The blades include blade bodies that are annularly disposed around a shaft and fixed to the end plate. The blades further include blade covers that are attached to the blade bodies. The blade covers and the blade bodies form a hollow space. The end ring is disposed such that it sandwiches the plural blades between itself and the end plate in a shaft direction. The blade covers form at least part of negative-pressure surfaces.

Impeller of centrifugal fan and centrifugal fan disposed with the impeller

An air conditioner principally includes a casing having a casing lower part formed by an alternating sequence of four panel side parts and four corner parts. The casing further has main outlets disposed along each of the panel side parts, and auxiliary outlets disposed at the corner parts. The air conditioner further includes horizontal flaps rotatably supported about longitudinal axes of the main outlets. A circumferential edge part of each of the auxiliary outlets is formed so that the air from each of the auxiliary outlets is blown out in a fixed direction.

A drain pump is provided that reduces the operating noise when the head is low. The drain pump has a pump casing, and an impeller. The pump casing has a drain inlet for sucking in drain water at a lower end part and a drain outlet for discharging drain water at a side part. The impeller has a shaft part disposed extending in a vertical direction inside the pump casing, a main blade disposed on the outer circumferential side of the shaft part, an auxiliary blade disposed on the lower side of the main blade, and a disc shaped dish part disposed between the main blade and the auxiliary blade. The dish part has an annular partition part extending upward from the outer circumferential edge part of the main blade, which is disposed at a position lower than the upper end part of the partition part.

Drain pump, and air conditioner provided therewith

The present invention obtains a desired cooling effect in a fan motor as well as suppresses any increase in the noise level in a centrifugal fan that sucks in air from the rotary shaft direction and blows out air in a direction that intersects the rotary shaft, and in an air conditioner provided therewith. The centrifugal fan of the air conditioner comprises a fan motor, a hub, a plurality of blades, and an air guide. The hub has cooling air holes, and is coupled to and rotationally driven by a shaft of the fan motor. The air guide guides a portion of the blown out air to the vicinity of the fan motor, cools the fan motor, and then guides the air flow so that the revolving direction velocity decreases when that air is blown out from the cooling air holes to the side of the hub opposite the fan motor.

A drain pump is provided that reduces the operating noise when the head is low. The drain pump has a pump casing, and an impeller. The pump casing has a drain inlet for sucking in drain water at a lower end part and a drain outlet for discharging drain water at a side part. The impeller has a shaft part extending in a vertical direction inside the pump casing, a main blade disposed on the outer circumferential side of the shaft part, an auxiliary blade disposed on the lower side of the main blade, and a disc shaped dish part disposed between the main blade and the auxiliary blade. The dish part has an annular partition part extending upward from the outer circumferential edge part of the main blade, which is disposed at a position lower than the upper end part of the partition part.
