A fuel supply system that includes a fuel pump, a jet pump, a first device and a second device. The fuel pump has a first port, a second port and a third port. Each of the first and second ports is configured to discharge a pressurized fuel. The third port is configured to discharge a fuel vapor that may be produced within the fuel pump. The first port is coupled to an engine via a fuel supply passage. The first device is coupled between the second port and the jet pump and is operable to permit and prevent the supply of the pressurized fuel to the jet pump. The second device is coupled to the third port and is operable to permit and prevent the discharge of the fuel vapor to the outside of the second device.

Fuel supply systems

An exhaust gas purification device of an internal combustion engine is taught that preferably include a storage tank storing an exhaust gas purification solution that is injected into an exhaust passage of the internal combustion engine, a solution supply line that is constructed to introduce the exhaust gas purification solution from the storage tank to the exhaust passage, a supply pump disposed on the solution supply line, and a gas-liquid selection device. The gas-liquid selection device is constructed to selectively introduce the exhaust gas purification solution and air into the solution supply line.

Exhaust gas purification device of internal combustion engine

A fuel supply system includes a pressure regulator () regulating the pressure of fuel supplied from a fuel pump (). A valve device () is associated with the pressure regulator () for controlling the pressure of the fuel regulated by the pressure regulator (). The valve device () supplies a part of the fuel as a control fluid to the pressure regulator (). The part of the fuel supplied from the valve device () as the control fluid is not discharged into a fuel tank () when the pressure regulator () regulates the pressure of the fuel to have a higher value.

Driving circuitry for an electromagnetic fuel injection valve in which the holding current value is made variable to obtain a minimum necessary holding force from the holding current according to the fuel pressure includes a solenoid for driving the fuel injection valve, a capacitor charged by a high-voltage charge control part, a switch circuit for on-off controlling a high-voltage current supplied from the capacitor to the solenoid in response to an injection command signal, and a holding current supply circuit for supplying a holding current from the power supply to the solenoid. When the holding current is supplied, a comparator circuit compares a voltage obtained by converting the value of electric current flowing through the solenoid by a resistor for detection and a voltage corresponding to a fuel pressure sensor signal, and the value of the holding current is varied according to an output signal from the comparator circuit.

Driving circuitry for electromagnetic fuel injection valve

A fuel injection nozzle is provided with a valve seat having a valve opening in which a valve is slidably provided, and a seat portion on which the valve is seated, and a nozzle tip having a sack portion and an injection opening formed on the sack portion. The valve seat is formed of metal, and at the same time, the nozzle tip is molded by metal injection molding, wherein the valve seat and nozzle tip are joined by welding, or after the injection opening of the nozzle tip is formed from the upstream side in the fuel injection direction by laser machining, the valve seat and nozzle tip are joined by welding.

Fuel injection nozzle

A fuel injector including a valve housing having a fuel injection hole formed at a front end of the valve housing; a valve movably provided int he valve housing so as to open and close the fuel injection hole; a nozzle fixedly mounted to a front end of the valve housing; and a fuel colliding member provided in the nozzle and positioned in alignment with the fuel injection hole in front thereof. A size of the fuel colliding member is smaller in cross section perpendicular to an axis of the fuel injector than that of the fuel injection hole. Accordingly, a radially inside part of a columnar fuel after collision with the fuel colliding member further collides with a radially outside part of the columnar fuel passing outside the fuel colliding member to accelerate atomization of the fuel without reducing a velocity of flow of the fuel.
