A package structure of a soft package lithium battery is provided. Two joining sheets that are correspondingly joined are provided at positions at which peripheries of covering films are press-fit on each tab. Each of the joining sheets has a first press-fit area and a second press-fit area. Joining surfaces of the first press-fit areas of the two joining sheets are correspondingly joined to each other and fixedly sandwich the tab therebetween. The second press-fit area is folded downward away from the tab to the first press-fit area, and the second press-fit areas are press-fit and fixed to the covering films. The concave surface formed by folding between the first press-fit area and the second press-fit area of each of the joining sheets alleviates the problem that hot gases generated during battery discharging exerts an upward force to generate a gap at the press-fit position and lead to electrolyte leakage.

Package structure of soft package lithium battery

A secondary battery packing case structure is provided, where a first joint portion that protrudes outward and a first embedded block are formed on a side surface of the case, a second joint portion that protrudes outward and a second embedded block are formed on another side surface opposite to the foregoing surface, and the first joint portion and second joint portion of the case are in a diagonally symmetric state, the first embedded block and the second embedded block are in a diagonally symmetric state, and the second connector group of the case may be correspondingly connected to a first connector group of another same case in an inserted manner; and connector groups on two joint portions of the case are respectively electrically connected to two electrodes of an internal battery pack. In this way, a single packing case can completely isolate an anode and a cathode of a battery pack in the packing case, and when multiple cases are connected in series, in a status that no short-circuit component is installed, a battery in the case cannot discharge electricity, which can completely avoid a situation that an accident short circuit or activation occurs in the battery and ensure security of the battery in a series connection and a transportation process.

A power supply system using an energy storage cell includes at least one lithium cell module; a voltage balance device, received and built in the lithium cell module, for performing voltage balance; and a cell module voltage monitoring device, disposed between a load and the lithium cell module, for monitoring and controlling working voltage ranges of all the lithium cell modules. The voltage balance device built in each lithium cell module performs charging correction on a lithium cell unit in which a capacitance difference is caused by a fabrication process or caused subsequently, to prevent overcharge damage of the lithium cell unit caused by the capacitance difference. The cell module voltage monitoring device is provided on an external line, and only a correct total charge voltage needs to be provided to charge the lithium cell module.

Power supply system using energy storage cell

A car battery comprises: four lithium ferro-phosphate batteries serially connected and positioned within a battery case with the anode and cathode caps exposed and connected to each other, and each of the lithium ferro-phosphate batteries has a capacity of 10-20 ampere-hour. The car battery also comprises two wires respectively connected to the anode and cathode caps, and the wires are thus connected to the anode and cathode of the lithium ferro-phosphate batteries connected in series.

A lithium battery cell structure is provided. A first-electrode conduction portion and a second-electrode conduction portion that are exposed outward are respectively provided on two sides of a soft package lithium battery inside the metal housing. The first-electrode conduction portions are respectively electrically connected and fixed to a first-electrode conductive sheet, and the first-electrode conductive sheet is electrically connected and fixed to a housing conductive sheet that is connected to the metal housing. The second-electrode conduction portions are respectively electrically connected and fixed to a second-electrode conductive sheet, and an other end of the second-electrode conductive sheet is electrically connected and fixed to the second electrode end. By adjusting the design of electrical connection between extending portions and the soft package lithium battery and the housing, the lithium battery cell is enabled to have better electrical conductivity and a better heat dissipation effect, and the sealing procedure made simpler.

Direct deposition of graphene on substrate material

An electrode structure of a lithium battery is provided for electrically connecting a positive pole and a negative pole in a tank of the lithium battery to the external. The electrode structure includes a lid body and at least one electrode body made of sheet metal material. The electrode body has a wrapped portion disposed in the lid body, two ends of the wrapped portion form bent portions respectively, and a connection portion and an output portion extend respectively from the bent portions to protrude from a surface of the lid body. A conductive electrode structure of the lithium battery is formed by wrapping instead of direct penetrating, thus achieving a hermetic effect of conductive positions of the electrode.

A conductive connection structure for secondary batteries employs conductive portions disposed under two lateral sides of a cover plate to conductively connect to at least one battery cell. The conductive portions disposed under the two lateral sides of the cover plate are bendable, and the conductive portions are bent toward outer sides of the cover plate, so that the conductive portions are disposed horizontally; a connecting portion is extended upward respectively from an anode and a cathode terminals on two lateral sides of each of the battery cells, and the connecting portions and the conductive portions are electrically connected. By modifying the design of the connection structure of the battery cells and the two conductive portions under the cover plate, a time for soldering the battery cells and the conductive portions for conductive connection is reduced, the connection is tighter and more reliable and manpower cost is reduced.

A sealing method for battery containers which employs a first fixture to engage with the outer peripheries of edges of an opening of a container made from metal sheets, in order to define a shape of the opening of the container; then a second fixture is inserted into an inner space of the container from its opening, so that the edges of the opening of the container are shaped due to the ductility and malleability properties of metal sheets, and lateral surfaces of the container are made flat; lastly, a cover is placed on the opening of the container to have the container sealed by a welding means. The sealing method can restore an original shape of the container from a deformed state by using the fixtures, so that an entire sealing process for battery containers can be executed by automation in order to save labor costs.

Method and devices for producing air sensitive electrode materials for lithium ion battery applications

A cover assembly for a Lithium-ion battery container to improve the durability of the battery. A high pressure injection molded polymer is combined with flanges disposed on the current collecting posts of the battery to provide an improved seal for the battery cover, especially at the interface of the cover and the current collecting posts. The injection molded polymer is fused to the flanges, current collecting posts and container cover to result in a diffusion path of increased length for gases and/or liquids which are known to enter or escape from battery containers. Additional polymer layers can be applied to the assembly to further improve the seal.
