A method to avoid over-rebooting of a power supply device comprises Step 1: receiving a power-good signal generated by a power supply device working normally; Step 2: checking whether the power-good signal is received; if no, demanding the power supply device to reboot; and Step 3: recording a count of rebootings of the power supply device; after the power supply device reboots, checking again whether the power-good signal is received; if yes, letting the power supply device keep on working and resetting the count of rebootings; if no, demanding the power supply device to reboot again, accumulating the count of rebootings, and checking whether the count of rebootings is greater than a limited count of rebootings; if yes, forbidding the power supply device to reboot. Thus is solved the problem that a power supply device whose abnormality cannot be removed by rebooting may damage the information device.

Method to avoid over-rebooting of power supply device

An inrush current recording module is installed in a power supply unit. The power supply unit has a front-stage power circuit and a back-stage power circuit. The front-stage power circuit includes a first ground terminal, and the back-stage power circuit includes a second ground terminal. The inrush current recording module includes a series circuit and a detection recording unit. The series circuit is formed by a capacitor and a resistor, and includes two ends thereof respectively connected to the first ground terminal and the second ground terminal. The detection recording unit detects the resistor to generate a voltage signal, compares the voltage signal with a voltage determination level, starts timing an inspection period when the voltage signal is greater than the voltage determination level, and records whether a current inrush current is harmful or harmless according to whether a power output signal is obtained within the inspection period.

Inrush current recording module

A modular redundant power supply includes a casing, a power integration panel, a plurality of power supply modules and a power regulation module. The casing has an installation space defined into a first installation zone and a second installation zone. The power integration panel is located in the installation space. The power supply modules are installed on the first installation zone and connected to the power integration panel. Each power supply module outputs a duty power to the power integration panel after being started. The power regulation module gets the duty power from the power integration panel and regulates thereof to generate an auxiliary duty power output to the power integration panel so that the power integration panel can supply the duty power and the auxiliary duty power to an external device.

Modular redundant power supply

A redundant power supply system providing rapid start of backup includes at least one primary power supply, at least one secondary power supply and a power integration panel. The secondary power supply includes a voltage regulation and energy saving element which has regulation potential after the secondary power supply being booted up. When the secondary power supply is triggered to shut down and the regulation potential is lower than a low voltage judgment criterion, it enters a standby working mode in which the secondary power supply is restarted for a transient working period to charge the voltage regulation and energy saving element. The power integration panel is electrically connected to the primary power supply and the secondary power supply, and inspects output status of the primary power supply and the secondary power supply in regular conditions to determine to boot up or shut down the secondary power supply.

Redundant power supply system providing rapid start of backup

A redundant power supply system providing alternate standby includes at least one primary power supply, at least one secondary power supply and a power integration panel. Each primary power supply receives a first power ON/OFF signal and starts to output a primary duty power. Each secondary power supply receives a second power ON/OFF signal and starts to output a secondary duty power. The power integration panel is electrically connected to the primary power supply and the secondary power supply and has a standby mode to receive a power ON/OFF signal from a motherboard and output alternately at a selected time interval the first power ON/OFF signal to the primary power supply or the second power ON/OFF signal to the secondary power supply to make the primary power supply and the secondary power supply on standby alternately.

Redundant power supply system providing alternate standby

A power enabling circuit for uninterrupted power supplies includes a main power supply system, a backup power supply system and a power enabling control circuit. The main power supply system is electrically connected to an external power source to convert and output a conversion power, and generates a first power good signal when the conversion power is output normally. The backup power supply system outputs a backup power when the main power supply system cannot output the conversion power. The power enabling control circuit receives the first power good signal output from the main power supply system and simulates to generate a corresponding second power good signal, and also includes a normal power supply state in which the second power good signal is sent to a motherboard and a backup power supply state to receive the backup power and continuously output the second power good signal to the motherboard.

Simulation of first power good signal to generate second power good signal by power enabling control circuit for uninterrupted power supplies

A redundant power system aims to provide multiple main output power and multiple standby power to drive a plurality of loads operating in an operating mode or a standby mode. The redundant power system includes a plurality of power supplies and a back panel. Each power supply provides a main output power and a standby power. The back panel has a power bus path to converge the main output power. The power bus path is divided into multiple main power output paths each being controlled by a remote ON/OFF switch to determine whether to perform output, and multiple standby power output paths each has a conversion unit located thereon. The conversion unit converts the power in the power bus path and provides a simulated standby power to the loads in a normal.

Redundant power system

A transformer comprises a circuit board, an iron core, a winding set and a plurality of magnetic conduction elements. The circuit board has a plurality of electric conduction holes connected via at least one power connection wire. The iron core is located on the circuit board and has a first winding section and a second winding section. The winding set is wound on the first winding section. Each magnetic conduction element has a connecting section located on the iron core and an input section and an output section inserted into the electric conduction holes. The output section of one magnetic conduction element is connected to the input section of another magnetic conduction element through the power connection wire, thereby the magnetic conduction elements and power connection wire form a magnetic conduction winding set which generates magnetic coupling with the winding set through the iron core.

Method and module for judging status alterations of power supplies that are caused by changes of external power sources are provided. Through comparing first, second and third comparison voltages with a stabilized voltage of a voltage stabilization and energy storage element in a power factor correction unit, the status of the power supply can be judged, and an external power supply abnormal signal, a power supply abnormal signal or a power failure alert signal can be generated according to the status to allow a motherboard to perform loading regulation. The power failure alert signal is used to timely stop operation of the power supply, hence can resolve the problems of the conventional techniques such as delay notification, inaccurate judgment or complex composition of judgment circuit.

Method and module for judging status of power supplies

A remote-controlled computer system includes a computer system electrically linked to a remote control device. The remote control device receives a manual operation to generate a manual trigger signal sent to the computer system. The computer system includes a motherboard, a power supply and a status control unit. The motherboard receives continuously the manual trigger signal and sends a power ON/OFF signal to start or stop the power supply. The power supply provides electric power to the motherboard for booting and a power activating signal to the motherboard. The status control unit is electrically connected to the motherboard, power supply and remote control device. The status control unit receives the manual trigger signal from the remote control device and transmits to the motherboard. The status control unit also detects absence of the power activating signal output from the power supply and stops sending the manual trigger signal.

In a power circuit for reducing standby power consumption, a power supply is defined to include a primary power system and a stationary power system. The stationary power system outputs a stationary power after obtaining an input power. A control unit controls ON/OFF of the primary power system, obtains the stationary power as the required power, and receives a PS ON/OFF signal for triggering the control unit, so that the control unit controls the primary power system to supply a primary output power. The power supply includes a switch unit having two ends connected to a power circuit for outputting the stationary power and a virtual load respectively. The PS ON/OFF signal is provided for controlling the switch unit. If the switch unit does not receive the PS ON/OFF signal, it is OFF in a standby mode to avoid unnecessary power consumption of the virtual load.

Power circuit for reducing standby power consumption

A remote controlled power supply system includes a data processing system and at least one power supply. The data processing system outputs a power source ON/OFF signal to drive the power supply to switch either in a working state or a sleeping state. The power supply includes a signal integration unit and a communication unit. The signal integration unit receives a working parameter of the power supply and outputs a first ON/OFF signal to drive the data processing system to output the power ON/OFF signal to switch the state of the power supply state. The communication unit is linked to the signal integration unit to receive the working parameter and output the working parameter to a communication network. The administrators can acquire the working parameter through a remote control equipment and control the power supply at the remote site.

Remote controlled power supply system

A multiple power supplies balance system includes a plurality of power supply circuits on a circuit board each having a power output route. Each power supply circuit includes a power supply feedback unit which has a reference level terminal to determine output potential of the power supply circuit. The circuit board also has an output route electrically connected to the power output route to converge current sending to a load. Thus the circuit board contains multiple sets of power supply circuits coupled in parallel. The circuit board also has a proportion distribution circuit to correct output variations of each power supply circuit. The proportion distribution circuit includes a variable impedance element which is electrically connected to the reference level terminals and controllable to proportionally change equivalent impedance connected to each reference level terminal, thus change proportionally output potential of each power supply circuit.

Multiple power supplies balance system

A power supply stacked output port structure installed on a power output end of a power supply to integrate and output transformed DC power of a circuit board in the power supply. The structure includes a base output port which contains a first connector and a second connector that are arranged in a juxtaposed manner. A stacked output port is provided and horizontally located above the base output port that has at least a third connector. The third connector is electrically connected to the circuit board of the power supply through transmission lines. The stacked output port structure thus formed can increase the number of external equipment to be connected. The transmission lines used on the third connector can achieve more stable electric connection.
