Blower fan

A stator of a polyphase motor in which in-phase coils are connected in parallel includes an annular core back, teeth extending radially from the core back and arranged circumferentially, a slot between two adjacent teeth, conducting wires respectively wound around the teeth to define the coils, and first and second connectors to which ends of each of the in-phase coils are connected, respectively. The conducting wire includes one or two jumper wires between each coil and the first connector or the second connector, and at least one jumper wire extends in an identical circumferential direction from the first connector toward the second connector with respect to all the in-phase coils.

Stator, motor, and blower

A serial axial flow fan includes a first axial flow fan, a second axial flow fan, and a current plate. Hollow cells of the current plate are partitioned by a lattice-shaped partition, penetrate in an axial direction, and are uniformly two-dimensionally arranged at an outer edge. An axially lower end portion of a first housing of the first axial flow fan and an axially upper end portion of a second housing are directly coupled to each other, and the current plate is provided in a coupling unit of the first housing and the second housing. An axially lower end portion of the first tubular unit of the first housing is axially opposed to an axially upper end portion of the second tubular unit of the second housing with the current plate interposed therebetween. A recess recessed on an opposite side to the coupling unit in the axial direction is provided on an axially end surface of at least one of an axially lower end surface of the first tubular unit and an axially upper end surface of the second tubular unit. A lead wire of at least one of the first axial flow fan and the second axial flow fan is accommodated in the recess. At least a portion of the recess overlaps a portion of the current plate in the axial direction.

Serial axial flow fan

A motor includes a stator, a rotor that rotates relatively to the stator, a circuit board, and a holding member that holds the stator and the circuit board. The stator includes a stator core including a core back and teeth, an insulator covering a portion of the stator core, a coil with a coil wire wound around the teeth with the insulator in between, and a coil end portion being an end portion of the coil wire. The circuit board has a second through hole. The holding member has a first through hole disposed on a lower side of the second through hole. The coil end portion passes through the first and second through holes and is electrically connected to the circuit board. A lower portion of the holding member is connected to an upper portion of the insulator, and an upper portion thereof is connected to the circuit board.

Motor and method of manufacturing motor

An impeller of an axial fan includes a cup-shaped blade support portion configured to cover a rotor holder, and blades in a circumferential direction outside of the blade support portion. Rotation of the impeller generates a downward air flow from the inlet of the axial fan to the outlet of the axial fan. The axial fan includes first and second balance correction portions. The first balance correction portion is located between the blade support portion and the rotor holder. The second balance correction portion is located axially below the first balance correction portion, and is located axially below the rotor holder and a junction of each blade with the blade support portion. The impeller includes a first cone portion located axially below the second balance correction portion. A tangent to a radially outer surface of the first cone portion crosses the second balance correction portion.

Axial fan and fan assembly

A fan includes a motor, an impeller fixed to the motor, and a housing including a cylindrical inner circumferential surface. The impeller includes a plurality of blades extending radially outward. The housing is arranged to surround outer peripheries of the motor and the impeller. The housing includes an intake port which is an upper opening of the housing, an upper edge which surrounds the intake port, an exhaust port which is a lower opening of the housing, a lower edge which surrounds the exhaust port. An axial distance from an upper end of each of the blades to an upper edge is &#xbd; times or more of an axial distance from the upper end of each of the blades to a lower end thereof. This makes it possible to restrain an air flow having a swirling component from passing through the intake port.

Axial flow fan

An impeller of an axial fan includes a cup-shaped blade support portion configured to cover a rotor holder, and blades in a circumferential direction outside of the blade support portion. Rotation of the impeller generates a downward air flow from the inlet to the outlet. The axial fan includes first and second balance correction portions. The first balance correction portion is located between the blade support portion and the rotor holder. The second balance correction portion is located axially below the first balance correction portion, and is located axially below the rotor holder and a junction of each blade with the blade support portion. The impeller includes a first cone portion located axially below the second balance correction portion, and decreases in diameter with decreasing height. The impeller includes a cylindrical portion including a cylindrical outer circumferential surface and located between the first cone portion and the second balance correction portion.

A fan includes a motor part, an impeller fixed to the motor part, and a housing including a cylindrical inner circumferential surface. The impeller includes a plurality of blades extending radially outward. The housing is arranged to surround outer peripheries of the motor part and the impeller. The housing includes an intake port which is an upper opening of the housing, an upper edge which surrounds the intake port, an exhaust port which is a lower opening of the housing, a lower edge which surrounds the exhaust port. An axial distance from an upper end of each of the blades to an upper edge is &#xbd; times or more of an axial distance from the upper end of each of the blades to a lower end thereof. This makes it possible to restrain an air flow having a swirling component from passing through the intake port.

Rotation of the impeller generates a downward air flow. The axial fan includes first and second balance correction portions. The impeller includes a first cone portion located axially below the second balance correction portion, and decreases in diameter with decreasing height.

A fan includes a motor part, an impeller fixed to the motor part, a housing, and a first circuit board mounted with electronic components. The motor part includes an armature having coils, and a second circuit board connected to the coils and the first circuit board. The housing surrounds outer peripheries of the motor part and the impeller. The housing includes an intake port which is an upper opening of the housing, an exhaust port which is a lower opening of the housing, a flange portion enlarged radially outward from an outer circumferential surface of the housing, and a circuit board fixing portion protruding from the outer circumferential surface and making contact with the first circuit board. The first circuit board is disposed spaced apart from the outer circumferential surface, positioned radially inward of a radial outer edge of the flange portion, and arranged to extend in an axial direction.

A motor includes a stationary unit, a rotary unit, and a bearing unit. The stationary unit includes a stator, a PCB and a base member. The stator includes a stator core and coils. The stator is arranged radially outward of the bearing unit. The PCB includes through-hole portions, land portions and PCB fixing portions. The base member includes a stator holding portion arranged to hold the stator and a bearing holding portion arranged to hold the bearing unit. The rotary unit includes a shaft positioned radially inward of the bearing unit and a magnet opposed to a circumferential surface of the stator core. The through-hole portions are arranged along a circumferential direction of the PCB. At least a portion of the PCB axially overlaps with the bearing unit. The PCB fixing portions are arranged radially outward of the through-hole portions.

Motor provided with a printed circuit board

A centrifugal fan includes a motor having an impeller and a housing for accommodating the motor. The housing has a sidewall surrounding an outer circumference of the impeller. An air inlet is formed in the housing and opposed to a center portion of the impeller. An air outlet is formed in the sidewall of the housing and opposed to an outer surface of the impeller. The housing includes a housing body and a housing cover. The housing body has a bottom with the motor secured thereon. The housing cover, formed by a pressed metal member, has an upper part and a cover sidewall extending from the upper part toward the bottom of the housing body and forming at least a part of the sidewall of the housing.

Centrifugal fan

An arrangement of a low air inlet and a circuit for driving a torque generator in an ultra-compact centrifugal fan is disclosed. In the ultra-compact centrifugal fan, a region occupied by the circuit is not completely arranged radially inside a cup-shaped portion to which an impeller is attached. At least a part of the low air inlet provided on a bottom of a housing of the centrifugal fan is arranged in a range of predetermined angle in an imaginary ring-shaped portion surrounding a base portion covered by the cup-shaped portion. A part of the circuit, that is not covered by the cup-shaped portion, is arranged upstream of the range of the predetermined angle in a flowing direction of airflow.

In manufacturing of the stator unitaccording to one preferred embodiment of the present invention, a plurality of terminal pins are arranged in an axially spaced manner from a plurality of the coils during a twining process of the wires from the coilsto the terminal pins. Then, after the wire is twined to the terminal pins, the terminal pins connected to the coils are moved along the outer side face of the sleeve housing, functioning to as a guide portionfor the terminal pins. By virtue of the configuration, the terminal pinsmay be approximated to the coils without applying the tension on wire, and the stator unit may be made thin with preventing the open circuit of the wires.
