An electromagnetic relay includes an exciting coil, a pair of fixed contacts, a movable spring, a magnet, and a yoke in contact with the magnet. The pair of fixed contacts is arranged along a first direction. The movable spring comes into contact with or moves away from the fixed contacts in response to the turn on or off of current to the exciting coil. The magnet prolongs the arc generated between the fixed contacts and the movable spring. The magnet is adjacent to the fixed contacts along a second direction orthogonal to the first direction, and is adjacent to the exciting coil along a third direction orthogonal to the first direction and the second direction. The yoke is adjacent to the fixed contacts along the third direction in a state where the yoke is in contact with the magnet.

Electromagnetic relay

A contact device includes: a contact block which includes a fixed contact, and a movable contactor including a movable contact formed to come into and out of contact with the fixed contact; a driving block including a driving shaft which moves the movable contactor, the driving block configured to drive the driving shaft so that the movable contact can come into and out of contact with the fixed contact; and a yoke disposed on one side of the movable contactor in a driving direction and fixed to the movable contactor. One of the yoke and the movable contactor includes a projection projected to the driving direction, and the other of the yoke and the movable contactor includes an insertion hole in which to insert the projection.

Contact device and electromagnetic relay mounted with same

An electromagnetic relay includes a contact device including a fixed terminal with a fixed contact formed, and a movable contactor with a movable contact formed to come into contact with and separate from the fixed contact. The contact device is stored in a housing. The electromagnetic relay further includes a terminal portion including a first terminal portion having a screw portion formed thereon, and a second terminal portion connected to the first terminal portion. The first terminal portion and the second terminal portion are configured to be electrically connected to each other at least in a state where a counterpart member connected to the terminal portion. A rotation restriction portion for restricting relative rotation between the first terminal portion and the second terminal portion is provided on at least one of the first terminal portion or the second terminal portion.

Electromagnetic relay for simplifying attachment of a counterpart member

A contact device includes: a contact block which includes a fixed terminal including a fixed contact formed thereon, and a movable contactor including a movable contact formed thereon; and a driving block including a driving shaft to which the movable contactor is attached, the driving block configured to drive the movable contactor. The contact block includes: a biasing portion configured to bias the movable contactor toward one side in a driving shaft direction; and a yoke disposed at least on an opposite side of the movable contactor in the driving shaft direction while the movable contact is in contact with the fixed contact. The biasing portion includes a biasing end configured to make biasing force act on the movable contactor by pressing a member other than the yoke.

In a contact device, rotational movement of a movable contactor with a yoke attached is regulated by the fact that the yoke abuts against a wall surface of a wall portion. In an event where the movable contactor with the yoke attached moves rotationally, the yoke is allowed to abut against only a wall surface in one region obtained by dividing the wall surface by a virtual line passing through a rotation center of the yoke.

Contact device

An electromagnetic relay includes an electromagnet block, a pair of fixed contacts, a movable spring, and a stopper. The electromagnet block includes an exciter coil and an armature. The movable spring includes a fixed portion and a movable portion. The fixed portion is fixed to the electromagnet block. The movable portion contacts fixed contact and is separated from the fixed contacts in response to turning on and off of an energizing of the exciter coil. The stopper configured to restrict a movement of the movable portion. The armature is fixed to the movable portion and is displaced unitarily with the movable portion. The movable spring is configured to, upon turning on the energizing of the exciter coil, cause the movable portion to move, by magnetic force, in an approaching direction in which the movable portion approaches the fixed contacts with the fixed portion functioning as a fulcrum, and contact the fixed connection portions. The movable spring is configured to, upon turning off the energizing of the exciter coil, cause the movable portion to be separated, by restoring force, from the fixed contacts in a separating direction in which the movable portion is separated from the fixed contacts. The stopper is configured to, upon turning on the energizing of the exciter coil, contact the movable portion and reduce a moving speed of the movable portion in the approaching direction before the movable portion contacts the fixed contacts. The stopper is configured to, upon turning off the energizing of the exciter coil, contact the armature and reduce the moving speed of the movable portion in the separating direction.

Provided is a contact device in which all of three movable contacts can be securely brought into contact with fixed contacts. The contact device includes a fixed terminalthat has a fixed contact, a movable terminalthat moves toward and away from the fixed terminaland has three movable contacts, andthat are brought into contact with the fixed contact, and a pressing springthat presses the movable terminaland brings the movable contacts, andinto contact with the fixed contactsat a predetermined pressing force. The point of application of the pressing springis located in a triangle formed by internal tangents of the three movable contacts.

A contact point deviceincludes a drive blockthat has a drive shaftto which a movable contactoris attached, and drives the movable contactor. The movable contactoris attached to the drive shaftso as to be movable relatively to the drive shaftin an axial direction of the drive shaft, and in addition, relative movement thereof in the axial direction is regulated due to abutment of the movable contactoragainst a regulating portion. Then, between the movable contactorand the regulating portionis formed a rotational movement deregulating portion, which relaxes the regulation by the regulating portionfor the relative rotational movement of the movable contactorin the axial direction.

Contact point device and electromagnetic relay that mounts the contact point device thereon

A contact device () includes a base (), a movable contact member () stored inside the base (), and one or more rotation stoppers () formed separately from the movable contact member () and provided between the movable contact member () and the base () so as to regulate a rotation of the movable contact member (). At least one rotation stopper () regulates a movement in one rotating direction of the movable contact member ().

According to one embodiment, a coil terminal is electrically connected to a coil being wound around an electromagnetic block and connected to a coated wire. The coil terminal includes a connection portion electrically connected to the coil, and a terminal body portion extending from the connection portion and connected to the coated wire. The terminal body portion includes a slit formed in the longitudinal direction of the coated wire from one end to the other end of the terminal body portion, a base portion formed on the other end of the coil terminal, and a pair of parallel beam portions extending toward one end of the coil terminal from the base portion with the slit interposed between the pair of beam portions. The pair of beam portions may protrude in a thickness direction of the terminal body portion. The coated wire may be disposed within the slit and a core wire at the tip end of the coated wire may be soldered to the base portion.

Coil terminal

An electromagnetic relay includes a relay body, a connector and an electronic-component connection terminal. The connector is provided integrally with the relay body. The electronic-component connection terminal is disposed so as to protrude from the relay body.

A sealed receptacle includes a case, a cylindrical member, and a closure plate. The sealed receptacle is configured to house a fixed contact, a movable contact, and an arc protection member. The arc protection member includes a peripheral wall, and a bottom. The peripheral wall is configured to conceal a junction between the case and the cylindrical member from the fixed contact and the movable contact. The bottom is interposed between the movable contact and the closure plate. The sealed receptacle houses a contact pressure provision member configured to bias the movable contact to come into contact with the fixed contact. The contact pressure provision member is interposed between the movable contact and the bottom so as to come into resilient contact with both the movable contact and the bottom irrespective of a position of the movable contact.
