An electric motor includes: a rotating shaft; a rotor securely attached to the rotating shaft and including a cylindrical magnet portion; a stator formed in an annular shape on an outer peripheral side of the rotor; a board installed above the rotor and the stator with a predetermined air gap therefrom; and a lead wire connected to the board. A connecting portion of the board and the lead wire is formed at a position on an inner side of an axial projection plane of the magnet portion of the rotor above the board. In this electric motor, even when the rotor is increased in diameter, the connecting portion of the lead wire connected to the board can be prevented from being located proximate to an upper part of the magnet portion of the rotor.

The metal conductive plateelectrically connecting the bracketon the output side and the bracketon the counter-output side includes: a first abutting portionformed on one end and abutted on a side of the bearing houseon the counter-output side, the first abutting portionwarping in a direction away from the case; a second abutting portionformed on the other end and abutted on an inner side of the bracketon the output side press-fitted on the case; and a conductive sleeveconnecting the first abutting portionand the second abutting portion. The conductive plateand the caseinclude a holding unit for holding a state in which the first abutting portionis abutted on the side of the bearing houseon the counter-output side.

Molded motor with conductive plate to reduce bearing corrosion

A molded motor includes an annular yoke part, a stator including a stator core having, a plurality of teeth parts extending from an inner peripheral surface of the annular yoke part toward a center thereof, an insulator covering the stator core, an outer shell formed around the stator core and the insulator and made of resin, a rotor coaxially disposed at the center of the stator, a connecting wire guide provided on the insulator to stand in an axial direction of the stator core at a position corresponding to an engagement recess of an outer peripheral part of the outer shell, and a connecting wire guided by the connecting wire guide. A crimped part of a bracket adapted to be attached to an end face of the stator is engaged with the engagement recess when a part of a side end face of the bracket is crimped and secured.

Molded motor

Provided is a molded motor that hardly causes electric corrosion in bearings and produces less noise and vibration. Electrical continuity between a bracketon an output side and a bracketon a counter output side is secured by a conductive platehaving elasticity. Therefore, since the conductive plateis unlikely to be cut off by an external force and does not change significantly with time, the electrical continuity between the bracketon the output side and the bracketon the counter output side is hardly interrupted. Accordingly, since a difference in potential between the bracketon the output side and the bracketon the counter output side hardly occurs, electric corrosion is hardly caused in a bearingon the output side and a bearingon the counter output side.
