A locking plate portion is disposed so as to be movable in a lateral direction. A connection terminal is inserted while a locking piece of a connection portion of the connection terminal passes through an insertion groove of the locking plate portion Subsequently, an operating member is pushed in an arrow direction with respect to the locking plate portion and the locking plate portion is laterally moved by a wedge mechanism. Then, the locking piece is transferred to a locking portion provided in the front end side portion of the insertion groove. As a result, the locking portion locks the rear portion of the locking piece and a rearward movement of the connection terminal is regulated.

Terminal storage portion securing terminals within a housing

Seal portions at two locations communicate with each other and are integrated with each other to realize a waterproof structure. A first seal portion is provided onto an outer surface at a tip of a central cylinder inside a housing main body to realize a waterproof structure where a gap between the outer surface and a housing of a mating electrical connector is sealed in a waterproof manner. The seal portion is also connected to an inner surface of the central cylinder through a communication hole provided in the central cylinder, and a second seal portion is provided on the inner surface, integrally with the seal portion, to realize a waterproof structure where a gap between the inner surface and a terminal holder is sealed in a waterproof manner.

In the conductor crimping portion (), side portions () are folded into a bottom layer plate () and a top layer plate (), and edges of the side portions () are abutted against each other to form a joint (). Additionally, three long groove-like punched long holes (to), for example, are provided in an oblique direction with respect to a longitudinal direction of the crimp connection terminal in a bottom portion () of the top layer plate (). A shallow round recessed portion () is formed in the surface of the punched long hole () by stamping. Edges () of this recessed portion () and new edges (') formed by edges () of the punched long hole (), obtained by the punching, being pushed inward by the stamping are formed in two steps.

Crimp connection terminal and production method for same

A terminal relay member includes a plurality of relay terminals, each of which has a body section in which an opening is formed so as to penetrate the body section, and a terminal section to be connected to the circuit board; and a covering section for covering the body sections. The covering section includes holes corresponding to the openings. The opening is configured so that, by inserting a terminal pin of a connector to the opening, a part of the body section around the opening is deformed toward an inner wall of the hole of the covering section to contact the terminal pin.

Relay terminal member, circuit structure including the same, and electronic unit

A harness connection member has a cover member. In fitting a cover member to a holder, a split slit is opened with use of a slit, and wires are inserted into the holder. Thereafter, the cover member is moved to the holder, then moved over one projected annular part of the holder, and fitted into the projected ring parts. A concaved strip part is fitted to a convexed strip part to complete the installation, whereby the cover member cannot be moved relative to the holder in both longitudinal and circumferential directions.

Harness connection member

A circuit board includes a foil circuit provided on a synthetic resin plate formed by injection molding, made of a copper foil, and having a pattern different for the circuit board. Anchor pins projecting upward are provided on the resin plate and passed through pinholes made in the foil circuit. The foil circuit is positioned and secured to the resin plate. In a required portion of the resin plate, a terminal insertion hole is provided, and a receiving terminal is secured to the required portion of the terminal insertion hole and connected to the foil circuit.

Circuit board, its manufacturing method, and joint box using circuit board

A circuit board case with an electrical connector comprises a case member having formed thereon a connector mating portion, and a connection member accommodated in the case member and mounted on the connector mating portion to electrically connect the counterpart connector and the circuit board. The connection member comprises a terminal provided with a first bar portion and a second bar portion, and a first fixing member which holds the first bar portion of the terminal and is mounted on the connector mating portion of the case member to fix the terminal, and a second fixing member which holds the second bar portion and is mounted on the case member to regulate movement of the terminal in a direction in which the first bar portion extends into the case member.

Circuit board case with electric connector and electronic unit provided with the same

A connector housing that is reduced in size in correspondence with reduction in size of a terminal. When a connecting terminal to which an electric wire and a waterproof sealing member are attached is inserted into a terminal accommodating hole from an terminal insertion opening, a step of the waterproof sealing member abuts against a step of the terminal insertion opening and also a taper surface meets a taper surface, preventing water from entering the terminal accommodating hole from the backside. In this state, the waterproof sealing member is pressed toward a connector housing by a rear holder to prevent the waterproof sealing member from falling out of position. Thus, because the terminal insertion opening is sealed, with a part of the waterproof sealing member placed outside the connector housing, the lateral width and vertical width of the terminal accommodating hole can be set to the magnitudes that substantially allow the connecting terminal to pass through the hole.

Waterproof structure for connector housing

A pivoting lever has tongue-like movable pieces formed in a squared U-shape on both side faces of a cover member, and locking claws at intermediate parts of the movable piece. A pivoting lever is pivotally supported on a support pin of the cover member. Circular arc-shaped cam grooves are formed in a lever body part, and locking holes engaging locking claws are formed in the lever body part. When a mating housing is pressed into a housing and the lever is pivoted, the cam grooves drive a driven pin and pull the mating housing toward the housing. The lever contacts the locking claws, and pivots the locking claws while pushing them down. When the housings are joined, the locking claws returned to the original positions fitted into the locking holes, setting the lever to a locked state, thereby disabling further rotation and reverse rotation of the lever.

Lever type connector

An electric connector capable of fixing a small connection terminal by a large locking force. Two housings having a plurality of connection terminals are placed vertically symmetrically with their open surfaces facing each other, and a holder having a lock is interposed between the open surfaces of the housings. An assembly of the housings and the holder is accommodated in an outer cover, and a bottom cover is fixed to the bottom of the outer cover. The connection terminals are rigidly prevented from moving backward and vertically by the housings and the holder, and from moving forward by a front wall of the outer cover.

An electrical connector that is reduced in size by appropriately combining connection terminals and a connector housing. Terminal insertion openings () for terminal accommodating holes () are formed in the rear face of the connector housing (). The terminal insertion openings () each have an elliptic cross-section, and the ellipses are arranged so as to be aligned in a specific direction. Oblong sections of connection sections, having a narrow width, of the connection terminals are inserted into the terminal accommodating holes (), along the terminal insertion openings (). The connection terminals are engaged with elastic case lances and connection sections provided in the terminal receiving holes and are fixed in position.

A connection member of simple structure having a high reliability and capable of performing electric cable branching is provided. Connection portions of a plurality of electric cable terminals having an electric cable are respectively inserted into an electric cable terminal insertion hole of a holding body. Cylindrical contact points of the connection portions are aligned in a pin terminal insertion hole and a pin terminal is inserted into the pin terminal insertion hole. The pin terminal is successively inserted into the cylindrical contact points of the electric cable terminals arranged in parallel in the pin terminal insertion hole so that the pin terminal is electrically connected to the plurality of connection portions and the connection portions are short-circuited with one another.
