An enclosed-channel reactor system is provided, which includes: a reactor body having a plurality of enclosed channels therein; an upper cap disposed at one end of the reactor body and having an inlet port communicating with the plurality of enclosed channels; a lower cap disposed at the other end of the reactor body opposite to the upper cap and having an outlet port communicating with the plurality of enclosed channels; and at least a conduit plate disposed between the upper cap and the reactor body for guiding a precursor injected from the inlet port into the plurality of enclosed channels uniformly.

The present invention relates to a nanoporous thin film and a method for fabricating the same. The nanoporous thin film fabricating method for fabricating a nanoporous thin film with a composite photocatalyst structure for a photodegradation and a water purification includes providing a porous substrate with a plurality of through-nanopores therein, each of which through-nanopores have an inner tube wall; forming an oxide-based photocatalyst layer over the porous substrate and the inner tube wall by using a first chemical-based deposition process; and forming a metal-based photocatalyst layer on a part of the oxide-based photocatalyst layer by using a second chemical-based deposition process.

Nanoporous thin film and method for fabricating the same

The present invention provides methods and designs of enclosed-channel reactor system for manufacturing catalysts or supports. Both of the configuration designs force the gaseous precursors and purge gas flow through the channel surface of reactor. The precursors will transform to thin film or particle catalysts or supports under adequate reaction temperature, working pressure and gas concentration. The reactor body is either sealed or enclosed for isolation from atmosphere. Another method using super ALD cycles is also proposed to grow alloy catalysts or supports with controllable concentration. The catalysts prepared by the method and system in the present invention are noble metals, such as platinum, palladium, rhodium, ruthenium, iridium and osmium, or transition metals such as iron, silver, cobalt, nickel and tin, while supports are silicon oxide, aluminum oxide, zirconium oxide, cerium oxide or magnesium oxide, or refractory metals, which can be chromium, molybdenum, tungsten or tantalum.

Enclosed-channel reactor method to manufacture catalysts or support materials

The present disclosure provides a method for manufacturing a catalyst layer and the method includes the following steps. First, a solution fabrication step is provided for fabricating a solution. The solution includes a solvent, a polymer and a titanium-containing precursor. A layering step is then provided for evaporating the solvent to form a gel-like layer, and a nitridation step is performed for treating the gel-like layer in ammonia ambience to remove the polymer so as to obtain a catalyst support, in which the catalyst support is composed of titanium nitride with a plurality of pores. A catalyst preparation step is performed for forming a plurality of platinum particles on the catalyst support.

The present invention relates to hierarchical structured nanotubes, to a method for preparing the same and to an application for the same, wherein the nanotubes include a plurality of connecting nanotubes for constituting a three-dimensional multi-dendrite morphology; and the method includes the following steps: (A) providing a polymer template including a plurality of organic nanowires; (B) forming an inorganic layer on the surface of the organic nanowires in the polymer template; and (C) performing a heat treatment on the polymer template having the inorganic layer on the surface so that partial atoms of the organic nanowires enter the inorganic layer.

Method for evaluating extrinsic hydrogenation degradation of hydrogen storage material

The present invention relates to a flat fuel cell combining runner plates and a conducting layer. The flat fuel cell includes two runner plates and a conducting layer between the runner plates. There are conducting blocks embedded into the predefined locations on the assembly surfaces of two runner plates. A concave flow passage is shaped by the assembly surfaces of runner plates and the conducting blocks, thus providing a unique structure combining the runner plates and conducting layer. The conducting blocks are electrically connected through the contact of convex flanges on the conducting blocks. Thus, the flat fuel cells are developed thin, making it possible to greatly reduce manufacturing assembly costs without the need of electric wires and to achieve better economic efficiency and applicability.

The present invention provides a fuel cell module compatible with a dry cell. The fuel cell module includes an enclosure, a power generating unit, a hydrogen storage unit and positive/negative output ends. The hollow enclosure has an internal space, and is provided with some preset through-holes, allowing external oxygen to enter into the space. The power generating unit and hydrogen storage unit are mounted into the space of the enclosure. Positive and negative output ends are placed at both sides or adjacent at one side of the enclosure, thereby guiding the positive and negative charge generated by the power generating unit; since the fuel cell modules are compatible with existing conventional dry cells. These modules are widely applied to existing electrical or electronic products.
