A transformer including a winding frame, a first coil, a second coil, a locating piece, and two iron core pieces is provided. The winding portion has a through hole. The first baffle and the second baffle are respectively and horizontally extended from two opposite ends of the winding portion. The terminal socket is connected to the second baffle. The first coil is wound on the winding portion and electrically coupled to the terminal socket. The second coil is disposed around the first coil and the two are spaced apart from each other. The second coil has a plurality of copper sheets located between the first baffle and the second baffle. The locating piece is correspondingly disposed on the winding frame to locate the second coil. The two iron core pieces are respectively disposed on the second baffle of the winding frame and the locating piece.

Transformer

A power converter includes a primary-side rectifying/filtering circuit, a DC converter, a DC/DC converter, a primary-side controller, a secondary-side rectifying controller, and a secondary-side feedback controller. The primary-side rectifying/filtering circuit receives an input voltage, and rectifies and filters the input voltage into an adjusted input voltage. The DC converter receives the adjusted input voltage. The primary-side controller provides a first control signal to control the DC converter to convert the adjusted input voltage into a DC input voltage, and provides a second control signal to control the DC-DC converter. The secondary-side rectifying controller provides a third control signal to control the DC-DC converter to convert the DC input voltage into a conversion voltage to supply power to a load according to a gain condition. The secondary-side feedback controller receives a power demand signal provided by the load to control the primary-side controller and the secondary-side rectifying controller.

Power converter

A power supply apparatus with step-up and step-down conversion includes a primary-side rectifying/filtering circuit, a step-up converter, a full-bridge LLC converter, a primary-side controller, a secondary-side rectifying/filtering circuit, a voltage regulator, and a secondary-side controller. The primary-side rectifying/filtering circuit rectifies and filters an AC input voltage into a DC input voltage. The primary-side controller controls the step-up converter to step up the DC input voltage to a step-up voltage, and controls the full-bridge LLC converter to convert the step-up voltage to a conversion voltage. The secondary-side rectifying/filtering circuit rectifies and filters the conversion voltage into a DC output voltage. The secondary-side controller controls the primary-side controller to provide the step-up control signal and the conversion control signal and provides a voltage regulation signal to control the voltage regulator so as to regulate the DC output voltage to an output voltage for supplying power to the load.

Power supply apparatus with step-up and step-down conversion

A voltage converter includes a feedback controller, a primary-side controller, a secondary-side controller, a primary-side rectification-filtration circuit, a boost converter, and a voltage conversion circuit. The feedback controller receives a voltage demand signal from an output end to output a first feedback signal and a second feedback signal. The primary-side controller generates a boost control signal and a first switching control signal according to the first feedback signal. The secondary-side controller generates a second switching control signal according to the second feedback signal. The boost converter is configured to boost a DC voltage outputted by the primary-side rectification-filtration circuit into a first voltage according to the boost control signal. The operation mode of the voltage conversion circuit is switched between a half-bridge rectification mode and a full-bridge rectification mode according to the first and second switching control signals. A method for voltage conversion is also provided.

Voltage converter and control method for voltage conversion

A flyback power-converting device includes a transformer circuit, a clamp damping circuit, a first switch, a voltage-reducing circuit and a second switch. The clamp damping circuit and the first switch are coupled to the transformer circuit. The voltage-reducing circuit and the second switch are coupled in series between the clamp damping circuit and the transformer circuit. Through switching of the first switch, the transformer circuit converts an input power to generate a first converted voltage and to enable the clamp damping circuit to store an inductive energy. In addition, when the second switch is turned on, the clamp damping circuit releases the inductive energy to the transformer circuit via the voltage-reducing circuit, so that the transformer circuit generates a second converted voltage according to the inductive energy.

Flyback power-converting device with zero-voltage switching and method for flyback converting power with zero-voltage switching

A power converter with over temperature protection compensation includes a main conversion unit, a primary-side control unit, a primary detection circuit, and an over temperature adjustment circuit. The primary-side control unit obtains a primary voltage change value through the primary detection circuit, and the primary-side control unit correspondingly provides a current change value to the over temperature adjustment circuit according to the primary voltage change value. The over temperature adjustment circuit provides a temperature control voltage according to the current change value so that the primary-side control unit determines whether an over temperature protection is activated according to the temperature control voltage.

Power converter with over temperature protection compensation

A power converter with over temperature protection compensation includes a main conversion unit, a primary-side control unit, a secondary-side control unit, a secondary detection circuit, and an over temperature adjustment circuit. The secondary-side control unit obtains a secondary voltage change value through the secondary detection circuit, and the secondary-side control unit correspondingly provides a current change value to the over temperature adjustment circuit according to the secondary voltage change value. The over temperature adjustment circuit provides a temperature control voltage according to the current change value so that the secondary-side control unit determines whether an over temperature protection is activated according to the temperature control voltage.

The disclosure provides a power supply and an operation method thereof. The power supply includes a power factor correction (PFC) circuit, a resonant conversion circuit and a dead zone control circuit. The PFC circuit performs power factor correction to output a corrected voltage. The resonant conversion circuit is coupled to the PFC circuit to receive the corrected voltage. The resonant conversion circuit converts the corrected voltage into a converted voltage. The dead zone control circuit is coupled to the resonant conversion circuit to receive the switch voltage. The dead zone control circuit controls the PFC circuit to adjust the corrected voltage. The dead zone control circuit observes the change trend of the falling time of the switch voltage in the deadtime by adjusting the corrected voltage. The dead zone control circuit determines the corrected voltage according to the change trend of the switch voltage.

Power factor correction circuit with fall time detection

A voltage transforming device is provided. The voltage transforming device boosts an input voltage to generate a boosted voltage in response to a voltage demand from an external device. The voltage transforming device converts the boosted voltage to provide a converted voltage based on a fixed gain condition. The present disclosure relates to a power converter device including a power factor correction circuit, a resonance converter circuit, and a zero voltage switching circuit. The power factor correction circuit is coupled to the primary side rectifier circuit, and includes a first switching circuit, a first control circuit and a first output circuit. The resonance converter circuit includes a second switching circuit and a second control circuit. The second switching circuit is coupled to the first output circuit, and the second control circuit is coupled to the secondary side rectifier circuit. The zero voltage switching circuit is coupled between the first control circuit and the second control circuit. The zero voltage switching circuit is configured to obtain a switching voltage of a switch element in the second switching circuit, and output an adjustment signal to the first control circuit according to the switching voltage.

Power converter device and driving method

A voltage converting apparatus is provided. A control circuit connects a disturbance element to a voltage-dividing resistor network to disturb a feedback voltage and generate a detection voltage during a resistance detection period, and determines whether the voltage-dividing resistor network is aging according to the detection voltage.

A constant power protection circuit includes a voltage conversion circuit, a current detection circuit, a voltage detection circuit, a power setting circuit, a voltage feedback circuit, an addition circuit, a current feedback circuit, and a signal isolation unit. When an output voltage of the voltage conversion circuit is larger than a voltage of the voltage detection circuit and an output current of the voltage conversion circuit is larger than a current of the current detection circuit, the power setting circuit provides a comparison signal to the current feedback circuit, the current feedback circuit outputs a feedback signal to the signal isolation unit. According to a signal outputted from the signal isolation unit, the voltage conversion circuit enables a constant power mode.
