A water-resistant element, adapted to an opining, comprising a deformable body, a first plate and a second plate is provided. The first plate is disposed at and against a first side of the deformable body. The second plate is disposed at and against a second side of the deformable body. When the deformable body is disposed in the opening, a relative displacement between the first plate and the second plate is used to change a shape of the deformable body such that the deformable body closely fits the opening in order to block moisture from entering into the opening. In addition, an external connection wire module comprising the water-resistant element, an antenna box module comprising the external connection wire module and a method of fixing the water-resistant element at a housing are also provided.

A ten-frequency band antenna includes a carrier, a high-frequency segment, a low-frequency segment, a printed circuit board (PCB) and an inductor. The high-frequency segment is arranged on left side of the carrier and the low-frequency segment is arranged on right side of the carrier. The radiator on the bottom face of the carrier electrically connects with the micro strip of the PCB and the ground line of the ground metal when the carrier is fixed to the PCB. The low-frequency segment is located at an opened area and corresponding to a metal face with smaller area such that the low-frequency segment is at a free space to enhance the frequency response of the low-frequency segment and the bandwidth of the high-frequency segment. The area and the volume of blind hole on the carrier can adjust the effective dielectric constant to adjust the resonant frequency and bandwidth of the antenna.

Multi-frequency band antenna

An antenna module includes an antenna box and a first connection wire. The antenna box can include a first antenna, a second antenna, a first connection terminal, a second connection terminal and a housing. The first and second antennas are located in the housing and the housing has a first opening collectively exposing a portion of the first connection terminal and a portion of the second connection terminal. Each of the first and second antennas is adapted to receive or transmit wireless signals according to one of a plurality of wireless communication standards and the first and second antennas are electrically connected to the first and second connection terminals, respectively. The wireless communication standards can be different from each other.

A system for automatically inspecting and trimming a ceramic patch antenna includes an inspection apparatus electrically connected to a radio frequency component testing fixture. The inspection apparatus is inputted standard parameters of electrical characteristics of the ceramic patch antenna. The ceramic patch antenna is arranged on the radio frequency component testing fixture. Then, the inspection apparatus is configured to measure electrical characteristics of the ceramic patch antenna and to judge whether the electrical characteristics of the ceramic patch antenna are the same as the standard parameters or not. The inspection apparatus is configured to drive a trimming machine for trimming a radiation metal surface of the ceramic patch antenna if the electrical characteristics of the ceramic patch antenna are different from the stand parameters.

A method is configured to automatically inspect and trim a ceramic patch antenna which has a radiation metal surface. Firstly, an inspection apparatus electrically connected to a radio frequency component testing fixture is arranged. The inspection apparatus is inputted standard parameters of electrical characteristics of the ceramic patch antenna. Then, the ceramic patch antenna is arranged on the radio frequency component testing fixture. The inspection apparatus is configured to measure electrical characteristics of the ceramic patch antenna and to judge whether the electrical characteristics of the ceramic patch antenna are the same as the standard parameters or not. The inspection apparatus is configured to drive a trimming machine for trimming the radiation metal surface of the ceramic patch antenna if the electrical characteristics of the ceramic patch antenna are different from the stand parameters.

Method for automatically inspecting and trimming a patch antenna

The invention provides a ceramic patch antenna structure which comprises a composite material base body, a radiation metallic layer, a grounding metallic layer and a signal feeding element. The composite material base body is composed of a high dielectric constant (K) material and a low K material, having a front surface, a rear surface and a through hole. The radiation metallic layer is provided on the front surface of the composite material base body. The grounding metallic layer is provided on the rear surface of the composite material base body. The signal feeding element has a head thereon, the head has a shaft extending from the bottom thereof and the shaft has a projection on a surface thereof. As the signal feeding element is screwed to the through hole, the projection of the shaft destroys an internal wall of the through hole to latch in the through hole.

A surface mount device multi-frequency antenna module includes a base plate, a carrier, a first ground layer, a first signal feed-in line, a second signal feed-in line, and a third signal feed-in line, wherein the last four parts are arranged on the base plate. The carrier includes a first radiator, a second radiator, a third radiator, and a fourth radiator. The first radiator is electrically connected to the second radiator. The first radiator is not electrically connected to the third radiator and the fourth radiator. A contact connecting the first radiator and the second radiator is electrically connected to the first signal feed-in line when the carrier is electrically connected to the base plate. The third radiator is electrically connected to the second signal feed-in line. The fourth radiator is electrically-connected to the third signal feed-in line.
