A reactive and durable anti-static agent and the method of preparing the anti-static agent comprises: a compound with an amine group and a compound with an epoxide group added into the flask, stirred under the gradual raised temperature, reacted into an anti-static agent with a reactive functional group under proper temperature. The characteristics of the invention is that the reaction of preparing the anti-static agent is very active, and the preparing method is easy. With the reactive functional groups and polymer additives which enable the reaction in polymer, in addition to the endurance and a long lifetime, the surface property of the anti-static agent is improved. Therefore, the anti-static prepared according to the invention is broadly in use of industry.

Reactive and durable anti-static agent and method of preparing the same

A crosslinkable aqueous polyester-containing emulsion and a process for preparing the same. The emulsion is obtained by polymerizing unsaturated monomers of acrylic, using a crosslinkable, sulfonated polyester emulsifier having an acid number less than 80 mg KOH/g and an intrinsic viscosity greater than 0.1 dl/g as an emulsifier. The emulsion has the chemical characteristics of both polyester and acrylic resin, i.e. has low volatile organic compounds, good mechanical stability, and good storage stability. Since the emulsion is crosslinkable, a film formed by the emulsion has excellent adhesion, water and heat resistance. Thus, the emulsion is useful for coating and printing on Nylon, PET, OPP films, as well as for high performance industrial surface coating and adhesion for which good heat-, water-, and weather-resistance are required.

An anti-static resinous composition with permanent anti-static property is provided. The anti-static resinous composition comprises from 5 to 50 percent by weight of hydrophilic copolymer and from 50 to 95 percent by weight of thermoplastic. The hydrophilic copolymer is formed by self-emulsion polymerization. The monomer mixture used in the reaction comprises from 10 to 70 percent by weight of vinyl or propenyl macromonomer containing a polyethylene oxide chain and from 30 to 90 percent by weight of ordinary vinyl monomer. The thermoplastic is compatible with the hydrophilic copolymer. The resultant resinous composition has permanent anti-static properties.

A polyetheresteramide compound and the method of preparing it comprise: a polyether compound containing a diamino group at the end mixed with a diacid and a diol, and being polymerized and condensed to form a polyetheresteramide compound. This polyetheresteramide is a durable anti-static resin. In addition to the anti-static property, the polyetheresteramide compound has the physical properties of the original polyester. Thus, the polyetheresteramide compound can be added into an anti-static resin and applied in general resin industry, special chemical and spinning industries. The anti-static products, such as the anti-static thin plate, anti-static bag, IC cover tape, anti-static clothes, and dustless clothes, or even broadly applied in electronic communication, semiconductor, and optoelectronic manufactures.

A metal complex is selected as the catalyst to catalyze the addition reaction of phosphorus compounds and unsaturated dicarboxylic acids in the presence of saturated dicarboxylic acids and diols at a relatively lower temperture in one single reactor to form phosphorus-containing diacids, followed by esterification and polymerization to complete the process.

A modified polyvinyl chloride (PVC) separation membrane and a method for its preparation. The membrane has improved water permeability, contamination resistance, and hydrophilic properties. The method comprises contacting a PVC membrane with a treating solution containing a compound having an amino functional group, preferably in the presence of an alkali alcoholate catalyst, and heat-treating the PVC membrane at elevated temperature. The membrane can be dipped in the treating bath at high temperature or dipped in solution at room temperature and heat-treated after removal from the treating bath.

A water retaining adhesive composition prepared by polymerizing and partially crosslinking 100 parts by weight of a 20 to 35 wt % solution of the acrylic polymer with 2 to 5 parts by weight of the amine group compound, amide group compound or amino group compound at a temperature of 20.degree. C. to 80.degree. C.; adjusting the pH value of the resultant partially crosslinked polymer to 6.0 to 7.0; and then sequentially compounding 10 to 40 parts by weight of modifiers and 2 to 5 parts by weight of water retaining agent in the partially crosslinked polymer. The modifier is a polyol, a polyalcohol or a poly(ether alcohol). The water retaining agent is 2-pyrrolidone-5-carboxylate.

A new process for preparing a separation membrane from aminated polysulfone resin or blends of aminated polysulfone-blended materials which utilizes an organic additive having a low or negligible water-solubility (instead of conventional water-soluble organics, polymers, or inorganic salts) in the casting solution. The resulting membrane exhibits high water-permeability and is capable of being formed at a high production rate when using a wet casting machine.

The invention relates to a process for preparing gas separation membranes or modules. Membrane forming material is cast into a wet membrane which is wound into a spiral module. The spiral module is arranged in a closed circulating apparatus. Exchanging solvents or treating solutions are circulated through the circulating apparatus and the spiral module for an appropriate period of time. The module and circulating apparatus are purged until the membrane is dry, thus producing a gas separation membrane or module.
