The method includes generating a first identity for a user to access data from a first application suite; generating a notification that the first identity has been created, causing a second application suite to generate a second different user identity to access data from the second application suite; authenticating a user based on authentication information and the first user identity; receiving, from the first application suite, a first resource from the user; storing the received first resource on the first application suite; synchronizing the first resource from the first application suite to the second application suite; synchronizing a second resource, stored on the second application suite, from the second application suite to the first application suite; and providing the second resource to the user via the first application suite.

Securely sharing data across isolated application suites

A method for performing an oilfield operation of an oilfield having a subterranean formation. The method includes collecting oilfield data and deploying a first plug-in including a first oilfield technology functionality into an oilfield hosting application. The method further includes performing an oilfield analysis on the collected oilfield data in the oilfield hosting application using the first oilfield technology functionality of the first plug-in to generate an oilfield output and adjusting an oilfield operation based on the oilfield output.

The invention relates to a method for performing operations of an oilfield having at least one wellsite, a surface network, and a process facility, each wellsite having a wellbore penetrating a subterranean formation for extracting fluid from an underground reservoir therein. The method includes storing oilfield data associated with a plurality of oilfield entities in a first data repository, obtaining a first target metamodel comprising structural description of a first plurality of data entities of the first data repository, obtaining a domain metamodel interleaved with a first mapping specification, the domain metamodel comprising structural description of a domain model for representing the plurality of oilfield entities in an application programming interface, obtaining a mapping specification associating the first target metamodel with the domain metamodel and forming the application programming interface based on the domain metamodel, the first target metamodel, and the first mapping specification using a computer implemented method.

Method and apparatus for oilfield data repository

Techniques relating to an oilfield application for performing at least one oilfield operation are provided. The oilfield application is provided with a plurality of oilfield application modules, an application shell for defining an oilfield application, an adapter for encapsulating at least one of the oilfield application modules for compatibility with the application shell, and integration services for integrating the application modules into the application shell. Each of the oilfield application modules performs at least one task of an oilfield operation. The application shell is adapted to selectively receive the oilfield application modules. The loading services load the application modules into the application shell, the loading services initializing the application modules. The integrating services integrate the application modules for operability with the application shell whereby the at least one oilfield operation is enabled.

Oilfield operational system and method

A method and apparatus implementing a network infrastructure in a seismic acquisition system are disclosed. The apparatus is a seismic acquisition system, comprising a plurality of seismic data sources () capable of generating data; at least one data collection system () utilizing an open network protocol; and at least one line network () connecting the data sources to the data collection system and utilizing an open network protocol. The line network () includes a plurality of data source nodes () at which a portion of the plurality of seismic data sources are respectively attached to the line network; and a router () for routing data generated by the seismic data sources () to the data collection system () through the data source nodes () in accordance with the open network protocol. The method comprises assigning at least two respective network addresses to each one of a plurality of seismic data sources, a plurality of data source nodes, a plurality of routers, and a data collection system; routing data generated by the data sources through the data source nodes and the routers to the data collection system; correlating the network addresses of the seismic data sources to the physical location of the respective seismic data sources; and correlating the physical locations of the respective seismic data sources to the data generated by the respective seismic data sources.
