A processing system of an autonomous aerial vehicle including at least one processor may determine informational data to present for at least one person, capture at least a first image via at least one imaging sensor of the autonomous aerial vehicle in a vicinity of the at least one person and determine a first position and a first orientation of the at least one person. The processing system may then identify, based upon the first position and the first orientation of the at least one person, a plurality of candidate projection areas, each candidate projection area comprising a contiguous area within the at least the first image that is deemed to be visible to the at least one person, select one of the plurality of candidate projection areas as a projection zone, and project the informational data on the projection zone via a projector.

Autonomous aerial vehicle projection zone selection

A processing system including at least one processor may collect, via at least one camera of at least one autonomous aerial vehicle, viewing information for a plurality of positions for each of a plurality of viewing locations within an event venue. The processing system may next present a viewing location selection interface to a user, where the viewing location selection interface provides a simulated view with respect to at least one of the plurality of positions for at least one of the plurality of viewing locations, and where the simulated view is based upon the viewing information that is obtained. The processing system may then obtain a selection from the user of a viewing location of the plurality of viewing locations for an event at the event venue.

Autonomous aerial vehicle assisted viewing location selection for event venue

A processing system of an autonomous aerial vehicle including at least one processor may obtain mapping data describing at least a portion of a facility, navigate, via the mapping data, to a space within the facility to perform an assigned task, and collect spatial sensor data within the space. The processing system may then detect, from the spatial sensor data, at least one object within the space, define a reserved zone within the space to perform the assigned task, based upon the at least one object that is detected, and present at least one of an audible announcement or a visual announcement of the reserved zone.

Autonomous aerial vehicle airspace claiming and announcing

A processing system including at least one processor may capture at least one image via at least one imaging sensor of an uncrewed aerial vehicle in a shared environment, detect a window within the at least one image, determine a location of the window in the shared environment, based upon a position of the uncrewed aerial vehicle and a distance between the uncrewed aerial vehicle and at least a portion of the window that is calculated from the at least one image, and record the location of the window in a map of the shared environment as a prohibited imaging zone.
