A mounting system mounts an accessory to a body member of a vehicle. The body member defines an opening and includes a base inserted into the opening. The mounting system includes a hook-shaped first engagement feature engaging the body member and a base aperture. A clip is disposed within the base aperture and the body member defines a second engagement feature. The clip includes two pairs of legs connected at a top portion of the clip, and two flexible tab members extending from the top portion of the clip biased outwardly between the legs into engagement with the inner edge of the body member. A cap includes a cap base and a plunger extending from a central portion of a first side of the cap base. The plunger abuts the flexible tab members, maintaining the flexible tab members in engagement with the body member.

Two-stage sun visor mounting system and method

A sunshade hook is provided which has an improved hook shape configuration that overlaps the rod-shaped member of the sunshade to prevent inadvertent pullout. An access passage is modified and dimensional relationships established between the hook and the sunshade to prevent inadvertent removal. The stem is also modified to increase the perimeter engagement with an opening in the bracket and increase the ability to withstand shearing stress imposed by wind forces.

Sunshade hook

A multi-functional cargo lid for a vehicle is provided that functions as a floor for a main storage area, a lid for a storage well, and as an elevated shelf. The cargo lid includes a first panel pivotally connected to a cargo lining behind a rear seat of the vehicle and a second panel pivotally connected to the first panel. When the cargo lid is in a first configuration the first and second panels are substantially horizontal and are flush with a floor of the vehicle. When the cargo lid is in a second configuration the first panel is substantially vertical and the second panel is elevated above the floor but remains substantially horizontal. A side latching device that pivots from each rear sidewall of the vehicle is adapted to receive and horizontally secure the second panel thereby securing the cargo lid in the second configuration.

Multi-function cargo lid/floor

A cargo liner storage assembly for an automotive vehicle is provided and includes a storage bin, a cargo lid assembly, and a cargo net assembly. The cargo lid assembly is rotatably and removably attached to the storage bin and includes multiple hinges and a latching assembly. The cargo net assembly is removably attached to the cargo lid assembly and includes a cargo net and a cargo net mounting assembly.

Cargo storage liner assembly for an automotive vehicle

An actuator for an adjustable seat belt D-ring anchor is provided that is easily reached by a vehicle operator while in a seated position and that blends in with the interior of the vehicle. The actuator includes a slider garnish that in turn supports a button garnish. Upon pressing the button garnish, a lever on the button garnish actuates a button assembly on a vehicle that in turn releases a locking pin on the anchor, allowing the anchor to be moved.
