A locking assembly, through which the artificial chordae tendineae extends, is shiftable between a tension-adjusting configuration, in which the artificial chordae tendineae is movable to adjust tension on the leaflet, and a tension-setting or locked configuration, in which the artificial chordae tendineae is inhibited or prevented or locked against moving with respect to the locking assembly to set or fix tension on the leaflet.

Embodiments herein relate to implantable medical devices including a power subunit with a first biocompatible electrically conductive shell configured for direct contact with an in vivo environment. In some embodiments a lithium anode can be disposed within the first biocompatible electrically conductive shell in direct electrical communication with a feedthrough pin, wherein the feedthrough pin is electrically isolated from the first biocompatible electrically conductive shell. A cathode can also be disposed within the first biocompatible electrically conductive shell and can be in direct electrical communication with the first biocompatible electrically conductive shell. The first biocompatible electrically conductive shell has a positive electrical potential. The implantable medical device further includes an electronics control subunit with a control circuit disposed within a second biocompatible electrically conductive shell. Embodiments herein relate to implantable medical devices including a welded joint with reduced residual stress. In a first aspect, an implantable medical device is included having a power subunit comprising a first biocompatible electrically conductive shell, an anode disposed therein, a cathode disposed therein, and a lid. The implantable medical device can further include an electronics control subunit comprising a second biocompatible electrically conductive shell, and a control circuit disposed therein. Both of the first and second biocompatible electrically conductive shells can include first and second opposed wide sides, first and second opposed narrow sides, and four rounded corners. The first shell can be welded to the lid around a perimeter thereof forming a weld line. The weld line can have a weld line terminus and the weld line terminus can be positioned on a narrow side or a rounded corner. Other embodiments are also included herein.

A filtered feedthrough assembly for an implantable medical device comprises a ferrule, an electrical insulator coupled to the ferrule by a connection element, a plurality of feedthrough conductors extending through the electrical insulator, a printed circuit board (PCB), and plurality of capacitors. The PCB is coupled to the ferrule or the electrical insulator, and includes one or more ground layers and a plurality of vias. The connection element is electrically coupled to the ground layer through the vias. The capacitor has a ground terminal electrically coupled to the ground layer through at least one of the vias, and a conductor terminal electrically coupled to the feedthrough conductor.

Filtered feedthrough assembly for implantable medical electronic devices

A filtered feedthrough assembly for an implantable medical device includes a ferrule, an electrical insulator coupled to the ferrule by a connection element, a plurality of feedthrough conductors extending through the electrical insulator, a printed circuit board (PCB), and a plurality of capacitors. The PCB is coupled to the ferrule or the electrical insulator, and includes one or more ground layers and a plurality of vias. The connection element is electrically coupled to the ground layer through the vias. The capacitor has a ground terminal electrically coupled to the ground layer through at least one of the vias, and a conductor terminal electrically coupled to the feedthrough conductor.

An imaging apparatus including a media supply, a transport path, a supply path for transporting sheets of photothermographic imaging media from the media supply to the transport path, a drive roller driving sheets of imaging media along the supply path, and a media guide moveable from a normally closed position to an open position to provide a continuous surface for moving a sheet of imaging media from the supply path onto the transport path in a first direction along the transport path, and wherein the media guide is moveable from the open position to the normally closed position upon the entire sheet of imaging media being moved onto the transport path to block the sheet of imaging media from entering the supply path when moving along the transport path in a direction opposite the first direction.

A method for deskewing a sheet. The method includes positioning a lower roller pair and at least one upper roller pair to form a substantially vertical transport path, wherein the lower roller pair and at least one upper roller pair each form a nip. The method includes driving the lower roller pair and the at least one upper roller pair so as to transport the sheet upward along the substantially vertical transport path, opening the nip formed by the at least one upper roller pair as a trailing edge of the sheet approaches the lower roller pair. The method further includes continuing to drive the lower roller pair so that the trailing edge passes through the nip formed by the lower roller pair and upward movement of the sheet ceases with the trailing edge supported by the lower roller pair, wherein gravity and continued rotation of the lower roller pair work together align the trailing edge with the lower roller pair.

Actuator system () is selectively coupled to pickup assembly () and is configured to move pickup assembly () between at least the first position and the second position and to vibrate at least the portion of the pickup assembly engaging the first sheet of imaging media at a desired frequency after moving the pickup assembly from the first position, wherein the desired frequency is based on characteristics of the sheets of imaging media.

An actuator system for use with a sheet transport system having a first roller and a second roller. The actuator system includes an idler assembly and a drive assembly. The idler assembly is coupled to the first roller and is biased to hold the first roller in a closed position engaging the second roller for transporting a sheet. The drive assembly is configured to engage the idler assembly to move the first roller between an open position spaced from the second roller and the closed position and to disengage the idler assembly when the first roller is in the closed position so that the first roller is held in the closed position solely by the idler assembly.

A system for opening and closing a resealable cartridge having a tray and a flexible cover resealably engaged with the tray. The system comprises: a base for receiving the tray of the cartridge; a roller shaft having means for engaging the cover of the cartridge; positioning means operably connected to the roller shaft to affect positioning of the roller shaft relative to the cartridge between a first position wherein the roller shaft is spaced from the cartridge and a second position different from the first position wherein the roller shaft is not spaced from the cartridge; and a motor for rotating the roller shaft in a first rotational direction to wind the cover about the roller shaft, thereby removing at least a portion of the cover from the tray, and for rotating the roller shaft in a second rotational direction to unwind the cover from the roller shaft thereby resealably engaging the cover with the tray.

An apparatus for transporting a sheet comprising: a first roller; a second roller; and an assembly for mounting the second roller for movement between a position spaced from the first roller and a position engaging the first roller for transporting a sheet; wherein the second roller has first and second ends, and wherein the assembly includes independently spring loaded link assemblies respectively on the first and second ends of the second roller that ensure that the second roller will always close down on both sides of the first roller with uniform pressure on both sides.
