An in-the-ear hearing aid device is disclosed. The device at least one electro-acoustic transducer, and at least one sensor or at least one active electronic component. The at least one electro-acoustic transducer comprises a capsule enclosing a transducer sound active part and a transducer air volume. The transducer air volume is air volume which is enclosed by said capsule and which is in fluid-connection with said transducer sound active part. At least a portion of said at least one sensor or of said at least one active electronic component is provided within said transducer air volume.

In-the-ear hearing aid device, a hearing aid, and an electro-acoustic transducer

The present disclosure relates to an electronic module for a hearing device. The electronic module comprises at least one electronic component for a hearing device and an embedding material covering the electronic component. The electronic component comprises at least one restricted area which is free from the embedding material. The restricted area is surrounded at least partially by a zone and the zone is covered by an attaching material. The attaching material covering the zone has a mold part formed by molding and freely formed edge facing the restricted area.

Electronic module for a hearing device

A hearing device with an adjustable vent is disclosed. The device includes at least one microphone configured to provide an input signal representing sound, a processor configured to process the input signal and provide a processed signal, at least one loudspeaker configured to receive the processed signal from the processor and to provide an acoustic signal based on the processed signal to the ear of a user, an earpiece comprising a vent, and an electrically controllable valve configured to control the vent, and a valve control unit configured to receive one or more control signals in dependence of a current hearing situation of the hearing device, wherein the valve control unit is configured to adjust the electrically controllable valve in dependence of the one or more control signals to provide the vent to be in a state between an acoustically more open and an acoustically less open state.

A hearing aid is configured to be located at or in an ear of a user. The hearing aid comprises a heartbeat detector providing a pulse control signal, and a processor. The processor is configured to estimate whether the hearing aid is located at a left or a right ear of the user in dependence of the pulse control signal. A method of operating a hearing aid and a binaural hearing aid system is further disclosed.

A hearing device comprises an ITE-part adapted for being located at or in an ear canal of the user comprising a housing comprising a seal towards walls or the ear canal, the ITE part comprising at least two microphones located outside the seal and facing the environment, and at least one microphone located inside the seal and facing the ear drum. The hearing device may comprise a beamformer filter connected to said at least three microphones comprising a first beamformer for spatial filtering said sound in the environment based on input signals from said at least two microphones facing the environment, and a second beamformer for spatial filtering sound reflected from the ear drum based on said at least one electric input signal from said at least one microphone facing the ear drum and at least one of said input signals from said at least two microphones facing the environment.

Hearing device comprising a beamformer filtering unit for reducing feedback

A hearing device, e.g. a hearing aid, comprises a) a multitude of input transducers for providing respective electric input signals representing sound in an environment of the user; b) an output transducer for providing stimuli perceivable to the user as sound based on said electric input signals or a processed version thereof; c) an adaptive beamformer filtering unit connected to said input unit and to said output unit, and configured to provide a spatially filtered signal based on said multitude of electric input signals and adaptively updated beamformer weights; and d) a feedback estimation unit providing feedback estimates of current feedback paths from said output transducer to each of said input transducers. The hearing device is configured to provide that at least one of said adaptively updated beamformer weights of the adaptive beamformer filtering unit is/are updated in dependence of said feedback path estimates. The application further relates to a method of suppressing feedback.

An earpiece configured to be worn in an ear canal of a user is disclosed. The earpiece includes an adaptor having an interface configured to receive at least a part of a speaker unit and hereby be attached to the speaker unit. The earpiece includes an adaptable part, preferably a part made of a foam material or a gel material shapeable to fit the ear canal of the user. The adaptable part at least partly surrounds the adaptor. The adaptor has a sound outlet channel and at least one vent.

The application relates to a hearing device, e.g. a hearing aid, comprising a first part for being inserted in an ear canal or fully or partially implanted in the head of a user, the first part comprising at least one electrode unit, termed a PR-electrode unit, for making contact to skin or tissue of a user when mounted or implanted in an operational condition, the at least one PR-electrode unit being configured to pick up a physiological response from the user, and wherein the at least one PR-electrode unit comprises an electrically conductive material, e.g. a shape memory alloy. The first part may comprise an implanted part, e.g. in combination with an external part adapted for being located in an ear canal, wherein both parts comprise one or more PR-electrode units. The invention may e.g. be used hearing aids, headsets, ear phones, active ear protection systems, or combinations thereof, e.g. to control processing of the hearing device or to monitor a condition of the user wearing the hearing device.

Hearing device comprising electrodes for picking up a physiological response

A hearing device, e.g. a hearing aid, having a protection system is disclosed. The device includes an input unit for receiving an acoustic signal from a user's surroundings and providing a corresponding audio signal, and an output unit receiving said audio signal and providing an audible signal to the user, where the hearing device further includes a barrier element for protecting elements of the hearing device. Furthermore, the disclosure relates to a hearing device inlet system.
