An apparatus for applying periodic pressure to the limb of a patient to prevent deep vein thrombosis and pulmonary embolism. The apparatus has a cuff that has a bladder. A housing that is attached to the cuff. A pump for inflating the bladder to a maximum cuff pressure, the maximum cuff pressure being 55 mmHg, and the pump is housed within the housing. A plurality of pressure application modes each of which control operation of the pump and wherein each pressure application mode is progressively applied in a manner that will increase a patient's blood flow. A pressure application mode selector is disposed on the housing. A microprocessor that is equipped with a program that controls the pump and the plurality of pressure application modes. The microprocessor is housed within the housing and it is connected to a transceiver. And, a remote that connects to the transceiver.

An electrically stimulated CBD infused anesthetic patch system that is placed on a human's skin that is used to relieve pain. The electrically stimulated CBD infused anesthetic patch system comprises of a transdermal patch that has electrodes that receive an electric current from a TENS device. The transdermal patch is impregnated with a solution that has at least one analgesic that is selected from the group consisting of Menthol, CBD, Lidocaine or Capsaicin. The solution shall also include inactive ingredients.

The system is designed to ergonomically fit around the waist of a user and the system will also allow a cellphone to be charged. Pressure cuff

An apparatus for applying periodic pressure to the limb of a patient includes a cuff which has a bladder, the cuff is shaped and dimensioned to wrap around the limb of the patient. The apparatus also includes a pump which inflates the bladder in accordance with a pressure application mode which is selected by the patient. In one embodiment a plurality of pressure application modes are provided. The patient can select which particular pressure application mode the apparatus will use. In another embodiment, the maximum cuff pressure is 55 mmHg. In another embodiment, two cycles of pressure application and removal are repeated every minute. In another embodiment, pressure is applied and removed in step fashion. In another embodiment, the pump is capable of increasing cuff pressure from 0 mmHg to 55 mmHg within two seconds. In accordance with another embodiment, a display on the apparatus shows real time cuff pressure, the selected pressure application mode, and cumulative hours of apparatus operation. In another embodiment, a pressure switch ensures that the cuff is properly wrapped around the limb of the patient.

An orthopedic device can be worn by a person having a waist, a shoulder, and an arm including an upper arm and a forearm. The orthopedic device holds the arm of the person in an abducted immobilized position to promote healing. The orthopedic device includes a sling which is shaped and dimensioned to receive the arm of the person, the sling includes a shoulder strap which is positionable over the shoulder of the person. The orthopedic device also includes a belt which is shaped and dimensioned to encircle the waist of the person. An arm support for supporting the person's arm is removably connectable to the belt. The belt includes an arm support connector to which the arm support is removably and fixedly connected so that the arm support projects upwardly from the belt. The arm support is positionable to extend different heights above the belt. The sling is connectable to the arm support so that the arm of the person is abducted.
