A parallel reactor system including a reactor and vessels in the reactor for holding reaction mixtures, and a cannula for introducing fluid reaction material into the vessels. A robot system is operable to insert the cannula into cannula passages in the reactor for delivery of reaction materials, including condensed gases, to respective vessels, and to withdraw the cannula from the cannula passages after delivery. Related methods are also disclosed.

Apparatus and methods for parallel processing of multiple reaction mixtures

The invention relates to liquid chromatography techniques for rapidly characterizing samples, such as polymer solutions, emulsions and dispersions, and to devices for implementing such techniques. The system includes a design that provides the ability to perform chromatographic separations by using mobile phase composition gradients and temperature gradients during separations. The invention accomplishes this by providing mixing zones for a plurality of fluids as well as heated and chilled feeds feeding the fluids to the mixing zones. Additionally, the system provides the ability to analyze separated components with a detector and/or collect separated fractions into vessels of a fraction collector for further separation and/or analysis.

System and method for rapid chromatography with fluid temperature and mobile phase composition control

An apparatus and method for injection of one or more chemical components into a reaction chamber are disclosed. The apparatus includes a reaction chamber for receiving one or more libraries in a fixed position relative to the chamber and configured to form a sealed enclosure. An injection manifold is located within the reaction chamber and selectively movable relative to the libraries. The injection manifold is configured for receiving at least one fluid transfer line coupled to an external source for injection of one or more chemical components into the reaction chamber.

Batch reactor with injection system

The cannula comprises a long thin needle having various end (port) configurations, and an adapter for connecting the needle to a fluid line. The adapter may include the combination of a reservoir and transition, or simply a transition.

The apparatus includes a reaction chamber for receiving one or more libraries, each of the libraries comprising two or more samples. The reaction chamber is configured to form a sealed enclosure.
